Okay, so I have a list of books that I need to read. It is huge and I take it everywhere, in case I see or hear about a new book that I have to read.

Does anyone else do this?
Does anyone have any books they'd like to tell me about?

Two book series by David Eddings, The Belgariad and the Malloreon. Also the three books that go with them, Belgareth the Sorceror, Polgara the Sorceress and the Rivan Codex. Awesome books, if you havn't already read them.

I think everyone are nerds,in their own way. I read a ton too, almost a book a day. I don't think that it's unnaturally or anything. Right now, I'm reading the Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman triology, which is awesomeso far, especially if you like Pride and Prejudice. I usually stick to thrillers, but I like a variety.

I love Pride and Prejudice. I love everything that is Jane Austen. Actually, my fiance took me to see "becoming Jane" for my birthday.

I can't say I've read those titles by him, but I've read the first two books of the Dreamers saga. Also, Anne McCaffery has done a great job with her Pern books.

You might be a nerd, but not necessarily. It depends a lot on your social interaction.

You could simply be well-read, or even erudite.

You're only a nerd if you want or believe that you are. In my opinion, you're just interested in reading. There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, we need more people like that in the world.

.....now, if you have a certain genre of books that you like to read, such as science fiction, anime, etc., then by society, most likely.

"Melissa thinks you are only a nerd if you call yourself one, but anywho. Melissa does not have a written list but she does have a mental list of authors who she wants to read all of the books they have written, like Dean Koontz." Swoons.

I can usually just remember the name of a book or books I thought would be interesting to read. If I really wanted to read a certain book, or had a few titles that I think I'd forget, I just tear out a small square of paper, or perhaps a sticky note, and jot them down there.

Depending on this "list" of yours, if it extends past five feet- scratch that, two to three feet, and you open it like a medieval scroll, you're not a nerd, there's not a word for what you'd be. (Yes, I've seen such a thing before) rofl
