I think you might think I'm a bit crazy, but some modern prophets have been saying that the future of America is going to be changed by the adults and teens around and in the town that I live in. It has something to do with a revival at a high school thats happening in September at a local high school. The revival took three years to plan, and its going to be huge. Our church's praise band is going to play for the first session. I feel that God is telling me to confirm what the other prophets around me have been saying. You.....um.....better hang on guys. A storm's coming, but it will not last long and the fate of north America lies in the balance. Thats all I have to say for now. I must tell others about my prophecy, as well as my pastor.

This storm U speak of. I have no clue if it's a real storm or a figure of speach. It has a friend of mine worried as well. U see she's wiccan and she mentioned something about a storm. She mentioned it after we got out of seing the latest Harry Potter movie. U see Wiccans & Pagens rely on feelings & vibes, Dreams andf or visions to try to predict the future. I have many wiccan/pagen friends & I myself used to be wiccan. Just a lil info there.

I'm not surprised at all. We've been asking for it for over 50 years now. The U.S. won't be a super power forever.

It's interesting that there's so much buzz about prophecy lately (not just in this guild, but everywhere I seem to be), or it could be that I'm just more atune to it since I find it fascinating.
I believe the end times are closer than ever (which is a really stupid statement to make since obviously the more you draw to the end of something the closer you're going to be, but you all nkow what I mean), and that things are going to start happening rapidly and more obviously than in the past. Prophecies from all over the world in every culture, dating back farther than Abraham (much farther) point to an end of things as we know it in the year 2012, which, interestingly enough, is the year that scientists predict and huge possibility of another polar shift (the first one happened a couple million years ago). Of course, this is all just speculation, we won't know for sure until it happens, and on a sort of related note, I have been having the most bizarre and disturbing dreams about the end of the world lately and they're making me think ... confused

Jesus is coming soon. I know we've been saying that for years but this time God is really pressing it into people's hearts. Get ready for the war people. We're going to be fighting it.
The good news is that God has promised us that we will conquer.

But no doubt it's soon. Mind you if God wants it in 2012 then that's what's going to happen.

How is abortion any different from the sacrifice of infants to pagan idols? Our new idols are greed and selfishness. Think what the Lord said by comparison to today's selfish thinking. "It's MY body" (don't tell me what to do with it) compared with The Lord saying "This is My Body" which he laid down his life for us while we were yet sinners

On the Mormon FAQ. They claim to have a Real Life Prophet, but their prophet isn't prophesying anything. They are pretty depressed over there.

But out of curiosity, if both the woman and the child were going to die if the child was delivered, would you still be opposed to the woman getting an abortion to save at least her own life? I also must call you on your reference to pagans as if all pagans sacrifice infants. That was an uncalled for and rather ignorant statement.

But as the years go by it gets harder to fight because of society today. This world is trying to push God out of it's life. And when everyone has heard about Jesus Christ he will come back for us (Christians). "God's little rigged game"? Care to expand on that comment? genocide? My friend I think you have your "gods" mixed up.

Good luck getting your missionaries into North Korea. rolleyes Quote: "God's little rigged game"? Care to expand on that comment? The other side has no chance of winning. It's a rigged game. Quote: genocide? My friend I think you have your "gods" mixed up. Off the top of my head: -The worldwide flood at the time of Noah as described in Genesis, chapters 6 to 8. From the description, it almost completely wiped out the human race, with the exception of Noah, his wife and sons and their wives. -The Passover incident described in Exodus chapters 11 and 12, in which all of the firstborn of all Egypt were slaughtered. -The conquest of Canaan, in which God ordered the Hebrews to completely exterminate the Canaanite people -- from the elderly to newborns and fetuses. This is described throughout the book of Joshua. -The near extermination of the entire tribe of Benjamin by the remaining 11 tribes, triggered by the serial rape and murder of a priest's concubine by a few Benjamites. See Judges, chapter 20. Unless those parts of the Bible were describing a different God fromt the Judeo-Christian one, I don't think I have my gods mixed up.

Care to expand on that comment? The other side has no chance of winning. It's a rigged game. I hardly consider the fate of every soul that was ever in existence a "game". Quote: genocide? From the description, it almost completely wiped out the human race, with the exception of Noah, his wife and sons and their wives. ___________________________________________________________ The whole world was evil and did not follow God, so he decided to wipe them out. He gave them plenty of chances to repent through Noah, but they didn't listen. ___________________________________________________________ -The Passover incident described in Exodus chapters 11 and 12, in which all of the firstborn of all Egypt were slaughtered. ___________________________________________________________ Again, they were blaspheamous, and God warned them through Moses, but they didn't listen. ___________________________________________________________ -The conquest of Canaan, in which God ordered the Hebrews to completely exterminate the Canaanite people -- from the elderly to newborns and fetuses. This is described throughout the book of Joshua. ___________________________________________________________ I never read anything about that, so I can't really disprove that claim. I'm sure someone who has read Joshua can. ___________________________________________________________ -The near extermination of the entire tribe of Benjamin by the remaining 11 tribes, triggered by the serial rape and murder of a priest's concubine by a few Benjamites. See Judges, chapter 20. ___________________________________________________________ Again, God gave them a chance to give up those few men. but they refused, so they attacked. ___________________________________________________________ Unless those parts of the Bible were describing a different God fromt the Judeo-Christian one, I don't think I have my gods mixed up. Please, any time you are trying to prove a point, please don't take verses out of context.
