Lifting her head, her nose inhaled the fresh forest air. True, it wasn't her favorite of all places. But the forest had sort of grown on her. Abeni folded her striped pinions against her back, hooves kicking up fallen leaves as she walked.
Behind her trailed a brown-striped dark pink form. Akede was looking all around the forest, brown eyes looking at her surroundings curiously. Her metallic pink wings were folded neatly against her back. Catching sight of the distance between her and her mother, Akede gave a small gallop to close the space up.

The fire antelope strolled along the forest, it has been a long time since he had been able to do so, he love this place.. It was where he had met his beloved Abeni. And where he had raised his children. He looked back at Agobe who was looking into the river along side and admiring himself. Smiling a bit, Adegoke chuckled before moving a long. Even though he didn't seem anything like his mother, or himself.. Ade is still reminded of Abeni when ever he stares at the zebralope.
Agobe smirked as he looked at his reflection. Oh how he loved the clear river. He was lucky he could see his beautiful reflection in the water. He looked ahead and trotted after Adegoke when seeing him go further.

As the pair kept walking, they had entered a small clearing in the forest. The grass had grown longer without a lot of herbavores to graze upon it. The sight made the Zebra wyrm think back to her happiest memories, of her chance meeting of her dearest Adegoke and the other thriving moments of raising their children.
Akede had taken interest in looking at her surroundings again. So much, in fact, that she had accidently run into her mother. The light/fire hybrid closed her eyes, awaiting the 'you-should-be-more-careful-of-where-your-walking'. And waited, and waited... Opening her eyes, Akede peered at her mother. "...mum?"

He continued trotting along side his son. Stopping to look around for a second, like he was waiting for someone.
"Father!" Whined Agobe. "When are we going to rest?"
"Don't worry son, we're here, we.. just need to wait for someone, so sit down and you can rest, I'll be looking out for that someone." He chuckled, it's been a while since he and Agobe saw Akede and Abeni, He was looking forward to t so much, he paced and waited and paced.
He got dizzy from all of his father trotting and looked away. "Who are we waiting for anyway Father?"
"You'll see soon" He chuckled again and finally sat down, sighing and waiting.

Snapping out of her euphoric trance with a smile to Akede, Abeni continued to move foreward with her daughter following at her flank. Her brown eyes flickered all over the place, as if trying to find someone. At last, she could make out a familiar shape not far off.
Akede followed her mother closely, now able to tell something was up. What was going on? Her own eyes kept a good look-out, but had failed to see what her mother had seen.

Adegoke got impatient, he twitched his tail, flicking it back and forth. Oh he just couldn't wait to see her, he missed Abeni ever so much. He looked around excitedly and then spots a shape, he can't tell what it is from the distance but her stares at it and waits...
Agobe just looked at his father like he was crazy, backing away a little from him. "Are you okay...? You're acting weird dad.."

Continuing to walk foreward, she watched the figure stop. Now, she had noticed, was another behind him. Something else, she noticed, was that faint glow of a deep purple fire... Ade...? She risked broadcasting, tail swishing side-to-side from excitement.
Akede had been cautiously watching her mother, wondering what was the matter. She glanced out again, this time catching a glimpse of the strangers they were nearing.

Squinting, Ade spoted something black and white, eyes widening as he pads forward and calls out hesitantly "Abeni...?" He continues padding towards her slowly, his pace grows faster after he's certain that it's really her up ahead.
Tail swishing to the side he links and tilts his head. "Mother? We're meeting mother?" Since Adegoke didn't listen, the hybrid rots curiously after his father.

Hooves scraped gently against the dirt ground as Abeni's pace slowly picked up. "Adegoke?" Finally unable to contain her growing excitement, she galloped towards the form of her mate.
"Is that father?" Akede asked softly, but then took notice of her mother's bold move forward. "W-wait up!" Akede followed after her mother, though not as fast.

Adegoke let out a happy noise as the two got closer. "Abeni.. I missed you so much dear.." Nuzzles the Light wyrm and lets out another noise. "If only our other two children were here."
Agobe raised an eyebrow as the two bean nuzzling, then glanced over at Akede. "Sister.. long time no see."

Abeni smiled, as she returned the affections. "I've missed you also, love..." A noise escaped her that closely reselmbed a whine. "True, but I'm sure they are happy."
Akede rolled her eyes and looked away, but couldn't help but give a small smile at her parents' happiness. Her eyes fell on Agobe, and she grinned a little. "It has been a long time, huh, brother?"

"Yes, as long as they are happy I'm fine with them missing" He nuzzled Abeni and licked her muzzle. "Wha have you and Akede been up to, love?"
He snorted but smirked at there love moment then looked over Akede. "Truly, it's been quite long, I almost forgotten how much you looked like mother. Though not as good looking as me." He stood up straighten and put a proud look on.

"We've been living as we can. Mainly around the beach, where it stays nice and warm." Abeni nuzzled into his neck, closing her eyes for a brief moment. "What about you and Agobe? How have you two been?"
Akede giggled at her brother. "You wish you looked as good as me." She mocked playfully, standing as straight as she would with her wings unfurled.

"The beach? Sounds wonderful..." chuckling slightly as he nuzzles her head. "We've been wondering the forest most of the time. Ago decided it was best to live near a lake where he can admire himself in the mirror." Sighs slightly. "Really, I don't understand how he got so vain. I doubt he'll be able to find someone special with that attitude." Saying this jokingly.
Agobe huffed and stood straighter, ruffling his wings as he does so, then his fluffy ears twitch at his father statement and he pouts. "Father! How could you say such a thing." Pouting more, Agobe grumbled to himself.
