She got cryptosporidium, a recreational water parasite. We're not sure if she got it when we went boating with some friends or at the public pool that we went to a week later. I looked up the incubation period and it said anywhere from 2 -10 days. So I'm not sure which place it was that she got it.
She's been sick for 2 weeks now. It's driving me crazy. I hope that she get better since she's starting kindergarten in about a week.

Have you taken her to the Doctor yet?
And if you have, didnt the doc give you anything to help get rid of it? Like some liquids?

Aww... I am sorry. I hope she gets better soon. heart I'm guessing that you took her to the doctor since you know what it is. What did they tell you will happen with it? :/

omg I am sorry to hear that, I hope she is feeling better soon. And I wish you both luck on her first day of school. I bet she will have fun. Just hope she is feeling better by then. heart heart

Yes, I took her to the doctor and they told me what it was. That it last about 2 weeks and it attacks the digestive system. One day you feel aweful then the next couple of days you will feel yucky and then you get worse again like you were the first day. That there is nothing to do but let them get out of her system. I was excited about that news.
It did last 2 weeks. So far this week she has been doing great but I'm still watching her and watching what she eats. She really wants ice cream but I told her let's wait another week.

Me, too. She was starting to lose weight and she's already small. She is looking a lot better. Her color is coming back and she's gained some weight.
