Jack Thompson's arguments are consistently illogical, motivated by opportunity rather than hard fact. Because he declares that video games cause tragedies like the Virginia Tech massacre only to further his political causes rather than actually doing research into the subject, this automatically brings down the validity of the entire argument. The same problem happened in 2001 during the World Trade Center attacks when "Dr." Bob Arnot claimed that flight simulators and flight-simulation video games were directly responsible for the 9/11 attacks.
Because of this hastily-thrown-together-yet-damning evidence, the side for "video games causing violent behavior" is at a severe disadvantage.
