Greetings, my name is Faust, a representative of sorts to a kingdom whose name I shall not tell you, so please do not ask. I am here to ask help from individual adventurers from any walk of life to band together in order to help me with something that is troubling my youngest brother. To those that follows the arcane arts, this indeeds have to do with Halaster's Call. To those who have never experienced it or haven't heard of it yet, I will inform you when we meet. We will be waiting at the Yawning Portal Inn. Reward will be to your asking, no matter what it is, as long as it is within my power to grant it.

Over night that message was posted on all the taverns, inns, and town squares of every country. A day later, the same message was found pin to the doors of every guild, monastery, or any other place that could train potential adventurers.

The offical stance of the Church is to stay out of this event. Though they are sending a few low ranking members to make sure that nothing evil takes advantage of the situation. Darren a young hopeful for the most zealot and most difficult to join Order of the Argent Fist, is one such member. Arriving at the Yawning Portal Inn in simple monk robes, and a small pack on his back asking only for the simplest of rooms waitting for this mysterious Dr. Faustus to appear.

(also, though dromites are typically genderless, I'll likely refer to it as he)
Gebre, halfheartedly hiding his antenna under his hat, will walk into the Yawning Portal around midday looking for the innkeeper. Upon finding him he'll ask, "Excuse me sir, I was wondering if you had any need for my services?"
At this time he'll reveal his Gemshorn from under his cloak in the event the innkeeper had been unable to guess at his meaning right off.
"I was actually a bit curious about this man" He say pointing at the bottom of one of the notes posted by Faust. "but I was hoping that perhaps I could earn a tad bit of coin tonight as well"

A bruly man with icy-blue eyes greets both of your when you arrival. "Haha, greetings my friends and welcome to my humble in. My name is Durnan, please relax and enjoy yourselves, but I must warn you of a few things. First, drunken brawls are fine, until a weapon is drawn. In fact, drawing a weapon without my permission and you'll find out how high you will fly. Second, get too fresh with my staff and the same rule applies. As a note, my daughter is a staff as well...not even the gods may help you from me then. Now that that's outt the way, how may I help you?"
Darren- Handing the key to the second floor, "Oh, only a room for you then sir monk? May I ask to what business do you have in this city this day?"
Gebre-"Hmm, can't say that will be a bad thing. Tho' I dunno how much I can paid you. How about this, free food an board each time you perform. Just don't go crazy on what you order now!" Looking at the note closely for a moment, "Oh, you mean 'Old-man' Faust, good lad, shame he looks the way he does. He should be around right now. Ya can't miss him, white hair, red glasses and white priest robes. He's always with his brother, his brother's...odd...bodyguard, and another monk of sorts."

I see, well I'd say that could work out just fine. In all honesty, those are likely the things I'd be spending my gold on in the first place. And don't worry, I may be the size of a halfling but I don't have their appetite. And thank you for the information about "old-man" Faust as you called him. I'll have to keep an eye out for him then.
Gebre, after thanking Durnan will walk into the in and find a place to sit and play. He'll remove his hat after find a place to sit, revealing a lack of hair, chitinous growth in it's place, and two small antenna which may or may not have been visible prior.
Gebre will then say to anyone who may listen, "I apologize if this first song is a tad bit out of tune but I have been traveling for some time.
prior to playing he scans the room to see if Faust is truly here now as Durnan said he may be.

My order mandates that until a specific level in training we remain chaste since carnal pleasures are most often a temptation tool used by evil, so have no worry about your staff from Me. Just a room for now would be fine, as for business my order wanted Me to keep an eye on the gathering here that old man Faust is having here.

Darren-Letting out a friendly chuckle, "Well don't you seem the stuffy type. I can't say I understand why you should be keepin' any eyes on Faust, he's a good lad, extremely friendly. If you be wanting to see him he should be around. Just a thought, lots of people went to see him for the sake of getting the reward rather than help his brother, none of them made it pass the threshold conscious. He made many friends who watches him even now, so you best take care of your intentions around him." With that said, Durnan points to a table near the middle of the inn next to the bard who's currently performing. "He's the priest with the white hair talking to Adama, the younger lookin' one."

having begun play better than he often does at the begining of a set, Gebre is in a good mood, and begins another, deciding that he could stand to wait a short time before speaking with Faust, meanwhile watching to see if anyone else approaches him regarding his flyers in the meantime.

Darren-Faust is the first to notice your presence, stops his conversation, stands and bows to you. Adjusting his red-tinted glasses before greeting you with a warm smile, biggrin "Well do my eyes decieve me or is this a rare sight, a member of the Silver Flame so far from the Dragon's Continent and the Keeper? This surely must be an urgent call! Where are my manners! My name is Dr. Faustus Fate. Please have a seat! Adama and I were just speaking of the various religions we have encountered in our travels. Once having finished his second song, Gebre will order a bit of food, having not eaten in a time. He'll continue to keep an eye on Faust's interactions with the monk, trying to decide whether or not he himself wishes to ask about the mans brother, and his need for aid.

I was not using that to boast, my brother needs help and I know my limits as a fighter.
