I don't know man, they haven't changed the belt to the best of my knowledge...and it's been the same design since the get go...that belt kind of looks UK-ish to me...might be a custom and/or a design that didn't make the cut.
I don't like that variation though, so I hope it isn't something we'll be seeing in the future.

Does ROH have any Royalty/Knight type wrestlers, cause this might be a custom belt for that wrestler.
But It's certainly awesome looking.

Not unless Nigel McGuiness starts some sort of Lancelot gimmick or something like that. And they'd only do that if they REALLY wanted me to stop supporting ROH... And since they have a new champ with the same belt, I guess this is either a prototype or a fan custom.

From what I understood from the websites here and there, the current belt is there to stay for now. So the only logical explaination I can come up with is that the belt showed here probably comes from another federation that uses ROH as their initials.
