As you all know, I highly encourage rp for this shop. I love to see plots being put together and played out, so here's some info to help you out.
General Info:
-Roleplays generally take place from the point of view of your little koi. The koi fish live in a gigantic pond, so they have their own little world going on inside.
-At the bottom of the lake are various rocky features and even little caves among all the pond plants and stones. Koi often like to settle into those caves for protection while they rest.
-There are also water lillies in the pond, whose long snaking roots reach the pond's bottom are the closest thing the fish have to trees and forests.
-There aren't any predators in the pond really, but birds may be a big issue for unwary fish.
Breeding- RP Technicalities:
-Koi are egg-layers, and just like other fish, the female first lays eggs, then the male comes in afterward and takes care of fertilizing them. Basically said..there isn't much of anything sexy with fish breeding..don't try lol
The process:
-For sanity's sake, and for the sake of how breedables shops work, lets just say that eggs develop in the female in reaction to courting and pairing up instead of the random seasonal stuff.
-After a female has found her mate and all that lovey dovey stuff, she'll start to plump up with eggs. After they've developed enough, she'll get some "nesting material" such as plant fibers and whatnot for her eggs to stick to, and she'll lay them. Then of course the male has to do his job and voila, koi eggs.
