I doubt that there is a single soul out there that doesn't love some kind of music, for without the love of music, you have no soul. So lets talk it up.

If you play it, or just listen to it, it's all good.

I've been in a bit of a Blues kick as of late, has actually driven me to start looking for places to travel to in the Louisiana area.

Full of truth there. I think everybody likes some kind of music, and if they don't, then they must be a Zombie or something...But then again, Even Zombies love music...

Personally, I'm into the Metal scene, but lately, I've been listening to mostly GH songs and songs from the bands on GH...Buckethead currently being my favorite at the moment.

Before listening to mostly GH bands, I was (And still am by the way. >.> wink listening to Pretty savage Metal..

(These are all Band names, by the ******** Dead
Ghengis Tron
Bolt Thrower
Berzerker
Cattle Decapitation
Circle of Dead Children
Dying Fetus
Exhumed
Gorerotted
Haemorrhage
Mortician
Necrophagist
Regurgitate
Pig Destroyer
Blood Red Throne
Nile
Vader...

And that's only about 1/10th of what I listen to on my Mix CDs...Blue can vouch for how good the songs sound.

I can dig metal, I'm appreciative of most forms of music, but my main scene is older-esq stuff.

Flogging Molly (although classified as punk, I'd say it's more soul-like)
Johnny Cash
The Beatles
Willy Nelson
Guns N Roses
Gwar

To name but a fraction of my collection.

I listen to almost everything. One of the few things I don't listen to is rap. The types of music I'm most fond of are probably punk, metal, and jazz. I also play drums to all the music I listen to (except a lot of jazz bands).

really gangster hip hop and some of that overnationalist patriotic country I can't deal with.

Everything else is fine.
(who can honestly say they really like bluegrass) xp

Oh dear.

Oingo Boingo--will always be at the top of my list. There are so many good things to say about them.
Danny Elfman--Same and different than Boingo. I love the band and his solo work. Words cannot describe how awesome this man is.
Eyeshine--'s lead singer is my favorite voice actor, Johnny Bosch. God damn that man can sing.
Todd Sapio--and his band Language Room, though I was a fan of the artist long before they were formed.
Josh Groben--is I think roughly how you spell his name. sweatdrop My dad's a fan, and it sort of carried over...
Lemon Demon--Any band with songs titled "The Story of You, Confused Destroyer of Worlds," "Bill Watterson" and "Action Movie Hero Boy" are okay in my book.
The Prodigals--Jig Punk? Just say "Friggin' Awesome Irish Punk of Amazingness" and be done with it, man. mrgreen
David Bowie--See last sentence of Elfman's description.

I could make this so very much longer by inserting bands I grew up on like the Barenaked Ladies and Counting Crows, but it is in my little world impossible to not like them, so I'll just let your brains do the fillings-in. 4laugh

Oh. ********. Yes.
eek *tackles, luffles, and violates PTV in any way she can*

Boingo = luff. Apparently I listen to them a bit too much, because my closer friends fear me asking "Can I bring some of my own CDs?" It makes me happy that I was able to convert my best friend's bf by showing him Forbidden Zone, though. blaugh

I always make time during the day to play Only a Lad, Slave and Elevator Man... Usually more, but at least those songs, they can brighten any mood.

I've always been partial to Insects, No One Lives Forever, and Insanity myself, though there isn't a song they've played that I don't like.
I love the guys at DnS for introducing me to them. mrgreen

I have given them a cult following when I was playing them at work one morning at my Best Buy. Listen to them once, and they've got you... Oingo Boingo-itus.
