Lenora sighed before she spoke. "I'm sure she did love you once long ago....but time appart does things. Some can not handle the lonliness and they turn to others....yet some only love more. It's best to know how she is now...then later. It would have only brought more pain had she done this after you two were wed."

"But we were only apart for a few months." Elandere replied, anger rising in his eyes again. "I was helping to guard her father. She was getting ready to travel here. We would have been seperated for a long time if Hir Thranduil had sailed to Valinor, but he did not."

Odd how they have only known eatchother a short time..yet...they all ready wish to marry. Perhaps they have known eachother longer then we thought? But then...we have only known eachother a few months and I trust you with my life. Odd...how feelings work. Strange how Legolia repays you for protecting her father."

Elandere watched Lenora for a moment. What she said made sense, but it aroused suspicion within the Elf. However, thie feeling was not directed toward any member of the Mirkwood Royal Family.
"Do you hate her?" he simply asked.

Lenora's eyes widened a moment as she pondered his question. "Hate her? No..I do not hate her..I am a bit jealous of her. She has everything...and I..I have nothing."

Elandere nodded. He was deep in thought as he pondered Lenora's words.
"Jealousy can make one say things that are not completely true." he replied.
The Elf did not know if he doubted Lenora's words or not, but he wanted to know the full story... he wanted to see it for himself.

She mearly nodded and stepped away from him..she closed her eyes and listened to the shadows. "They are in her room..perhaps now would be a good time to speak with them." Opening her eyes as she sighed softly. "I shall leave you to your thoughts." She turned and made her way to the door, fighting the urge to scream.

Elandere nodded, "I will do that." he said, following Lenora out into the hall. "However, I would wish for you not to take my words the wrong way." he said before departing.

She nodded..knowing he needed to find things out for himself. Since that was taken care of...someone else needed to hear bad news. She hoped Aragorn had rested as she slowly made her way to his chamber.

When Elandere arrived back in his room, he immediately began to change clothes. No more robes and the like for him. It was time to don his traveling tunic, especially if he could get enough of the soldiers on his side to strike again Mordor.

Walking over to the door, Elandere opened it. "Think about what, Lenora? The royal family was attacked and Legede does not intend to do anything about it. Someone has to!"

She sighed...and looked up at him..her face full of worry...her eyes full of fear. "You were not here when Legede came back from Mordor...you did not see him...his body was not even recognizable. It is pure evil that comes from that place..the best that could happen is for you to die on the battlefield. They are thinking of a plan, Elandere..a plan is needed...not to just hurry into a battle you can not win."

"And how do you know I can not win it?" Elandere asked, his eyes cold. "I was given Legede's job, Lenora. I became the captain while he was away. I have the power to muster the soldiers still left from Eryn Lasgalen. With out strength, we can destroy this evil."
