Twilight look at her and let out a deep sigh as he averted his gaze from her face. "Legolia...I am a Vampire and have no real place in this world. I think that if I was to stay with you I would make life so much harder for you. I kill...I kill because I have to. And...things will die because of me. You certainly don't need that..."

"If there is a way then I have no found it. My sister can not cure it and she is very skilled in magical arts and has much knowledge. If there is a way to undo this curse I would gladly use what ever means necassary. For your sake."

"We would only have to seek out Morgoth's magic." Legolia replied, locking her gaze with Twilight's. "I know of a text that Morgoth wrote himself, but I think the only one who might know where it is hidden is my brother."

Twilight took Legolia's hands in his own and smiled a gentle smile at her as he stared into her brilliant eyes. "We will save your brother, try to reverse this vile infection which has fallen upon me, then we may get married. Does that suit you well?"

Elandere, standing outside, had heard it all. He quietly opened the door and, standing in the doorway, made his point.
"It does not suit me." he stated, glaring at the two.
Legolia looked up, but she could find no words.
"Then it is true..." Elandere whispered.

Twilight stands up quickly, keeping one of Legolia's hands in one of his. He stared at Elandere as he entered the room and spoke.

"Then what is true?" Legolia asked, tentatively standing from the bed.
Elandere's cold gaze settled on her. "You, and that thing, are getting married?"
The woman's eyes narrowed, "We are. I am sorry for your pain, Elandere, but... Valar this is hard enough on me!" her anger grew. "My brother has been abducted, my family and friends are in danger, and you and I grew so far apart over the past few months. I needed someone when Legede died. You were not here! I needed someone when Legolas would not listen to me. You were NOT here! Twilight listened to me, shared in my pain, and truly understood. You do not... and sometimes I wonder if you ever did."
"What? Understood those idiotic 'dreams' you have?" Elandere asked, his own eyes narrow now.
"They are not dreams! They are visions!" Legolia replied, now standing in front of Twilight and thus closer to the other Elf. "You never believed me! How could I ultimately love someone enough to marry them... when they do not believe what I have to say?!"
"Your past is troubled, Legolia. Perhaps that causes your visions."
The woman's eyes went wide, "Are you suggesting I am mad?"
"Perhaps." Elandere replied, "I loved you and you returned that love. Was that not enough?"
"No!" she shouted, "I wanted you to believe and trust me. You never did! Not fully! I loved you when we were young, when Legolas was off and away on some hairbrained adventure with Elrond's sons, but time changes things. People change, Elandere."
"So I see."

Twilight stood behind Legolia as she spoke and when she finished he leaned down so his lips were by her ear. "Shall I leave you for now?"

"No." she said, putting her other hand on Twilight's arm. "Elandere is angry, and I can not blame him." Legolia whispered softly.
Elandere shook his head angrily, turned, and left the room.

After Elandere left Twilight rested his hands on Legolia's shoulders and twirled her around so she faced him. At first he looked at her with worry but smiled and it gave away to a gentle, loving expression. He leaned down and pressed his lips firmly to hers, bringing her into a soft kiss.

Legolia kissed him back, but after a while she pulled away. Leaning against him, her eyes focused on the doorway into the room.
"I feel bad for him... I have known for a while that we were not destined to be together, but ada and Legolas and Elandere himself all convinced me just to let my fears go. Now I know... I should have told him sooner..."

Twilight gave a light sigh and pulled her tighter against him for a second. "Yes, poor guy. But you were pressured into believing that you were to spend your life with him. And if he does care about you, he will understand your decision. And I pray that he does, for his own sake."
