Just wanted to come on here and brag about how I've gotten my housing assignment!!!
But they haven't assigned me a roommate yet. It is strange...I know my building and room number, but I don't know who my roommate is...

I hate the fact I had to switch over to different housing this year. I went from dorm apartments to the community dorm. If this place burnt to the ground I would not shed a tear.

Oh that's strange that some schools don't let you know who you room with until you actually move in...mine's not like that I don't think. Everyone else I know already has their housing AND roommate assignments...I think it's because I didn't live in the dorms last year, so they just haven't assigned a roommate to me yet.
A lot of people think that I just won't have one. Which would be awesome, cause they've assigned me to a two-person room...but there'd only be me >D
At least until some transfer student came in and ruined my fun sad

Eva-chan This is why I live on my own ^_^ Kind of hard to live on your own when you are paying your way through school.

Actually its cheaper to live on your own than to stay at the housing my school offers. It is also much less stressful to avoid that mess they call the ACB.

I save thousands not living on Campus. Sure there is the 40 minute drive to school and paying for gas, but I avoid most of the annoying partying and people I wouldn't be able to stand.

I live on campus. I don't really like my roommates (think "fresh from the beach preps") and I don't think they like me ("quiet, sarcastic--Daria-esque") But I managed to find a few cool people to shoot pool with. I wish they had mini houses on campus, it might cost more, but it's a pittance in exchange for quiet and peace of mind.

I extraordinarily dislike my roommates. I can't believe I wanted to stay at school. @_@ If I flood this thread with rants and vents about the conflicts between us, I apologize. It's either vent, or jump off the third story (which I actually considered doing not too long ago). crying

Aw, you really dislike your roomates? How many do you have? I only have one roomate, and she's pretty awesome. We're so worried about bothering the other that we're pretty good with minding each other's feelings about things. I'm a neat freak, but I've got my clean side, so it's all good. She doesn't mind my music, I don't mind hers... it's good. 3nodding And we click too, so it's good.

But the girl who I share a bathroom with is so annoying and messy. She tries to play dumb, but I know she's messing with me. She's just making herself look like an unintelligent slob. The other two girls (there's four in the apartment all together) are just condescending and rude, I make it a point not to talk to or be around them. I put in for a room change, but no one's responded yet.

I cannot stand my roommate , he is an exchange student and hearing his voice is about the same as hearing a cheese grater dragged across a black board.

Hey, has anyone had any problems with roommates coming home drunk and then vomiting all over the room? My roommie hasn't done that, but I'm just happy our room is right across from the bathroom.
