Tell them that if they will not be productive and postive, and if they cannot make up their minds about if they want to criticize you or help you, then it is not their bussiness. I had this problem, I was 5'5 and 175 pounds and was a size 14, then I lived with my aunt for a year, she said horrible things to me, called me ugly and fat. She yelled at me when I tried to eat, So I simply stopped eating. I was so afraid to eat because I decided that I wanted her love more then I wanted food. I starved, and starved, I lost 40 pounds that way. When I moved in with my grandmother, I gained a few, so I reached 138. I was, and still am, a size 8-9. My aunt had to live with us for a month, and she called me fat when I gained 3 pounds. She finally had to move out, cause my grandma cannot stand her. I live with my grandma now, and am 142, thanks to gaining the bone mass and muscle mass I lost while starving, I went up to 147, now I am 142, because I started dieting for my health, not because of bad self image. I learned alot, though, I learned that you cannot earn kindness. If people are kind, they will be kind. You cannot change thier mind about how to treat you. But you can stand up for yourself. What you can do is count your calories, but not tell them what you are doing, have about 1000 a day, and thanks to what muffyn told me, I found out you can walk, and count your steps. every ten steps is 1 calorie, hope that helped.
