Story hereI say 5 years. Dogfighting is endemic in the Southern US, and it's disgusting. I worked with a guy who knew some people who did it, and I would have loved to hunt them down and see them rot in prison. He told me one guy just pulled out a gun and shot his dog after she lost a fight. If you can treat a dog that way, what's to stop you from treating humans the same?

What's to keep someone from treating a human that way? Thats an easy question. The answer is "brainwash." People do not have enough will to think for themselves, so they are easily conditioned into thinking the spectrum works like there are humans, and then there are animals, as if humans aren't just one of the many species of animals that inhabit this planet. But I agree, Vick deserves torture. It's bullshit that there is a charge called "animal cruelty," there should just be a charge called cruelty, period. Animals and humans are equal, he should be tried for murder.

only five? he deserves life. he killed more than one life while he was doing his ignorant pleas for attention. as if he needs anymore. he's a loser who needs to get a life, which will probably including being the jail ho. smile

I just don't see why people do things like this. Really what's the point of it, and people just don't get that killing a living thing, no matter what it is, is still killing a living thing.
