My dad is pretty much the best dad ever.
I lost my mom when I was 11, but when I had her, she was pretty much the best mom ever.
Ive recently moved a really, really long way away from my dad and I feel like an orphan.
My parents were not brilliant people. Nor were they rich, but if there is one thing I take from them, it's their choice of music. I remember listening to early visions of metal, classic rock and hair bands on my dad's record player playing loud through the house when I was a kid.
"Marcy, don't jump! You'll make the record skip." rofl I can hear my mom's voice so clearly.
Anyway, before I get to sappy, Ill get to the point.
Their preferences rubbed off on me. I listen to almost everything they did, plus modern versions of what I think they'd like- Foo Fighters, Tenacious D, Amon Amarth, Blind Guardian, STP, Alice in Chains, and of course my own stuff that they would probably late, lol.
How have tour parents influenced your taste in music?

I listen to metalcore/grindcore
but ironmaiden thats dadcore neutral

my mom likes the pop kind and I dont think my dad listens to anything xD
I like the music my mom listens to though and so do my friends.
Its verryy catchy!

My mum luffs Country music, damn, whenever she drives me places, i have to listen to it on the radio. scream
My dad listens to old Classic Rock stuff, so it's not as bad as my mum's music.
Neither of them have influenced my music. Lawl, they hate the music i listen to!
