I just got my belly button pierced a few hours ago, I was wondering what the best way to keep it clean is.

I got mine done 10 days ago. They told me to wash it every day in the shower with a clear, unscented antibacterial soap (they recommend unscented Softsoap or Liquid Lever 2000), and other than that leave it alone. Don't touch it, don't bother it, etc.

Use a soap like Provon or Satin, but any mild, liquid antibacterial soap will do the trick. Wash it once or twice a day, a warm sea salt soak once a day will help promote healing, and a dab of tea tree oil will help push all the nasty stuff out of the piercing.
Never use anything harsh like peroxide or alcohol.
