Ha. I recently [well a month ago] got my bottom lip done. I finally was able to get it re-pierced after i let it close up stupidly. :/
and well, I work at a place that does not allow piercings so naturally i have to take it out for work. sadly my new one is not healed all the way so having it out for 5 hours at a time can make it close up pretty bad. especially since its inside the mouth. every time i work i know i'll have to shove the jewelry back through and it hurts more then getting it actually pierced sometimes!
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to make it heal faster. I was thinking of buying H2Ocean? does anyone have their own way? ^^ it would be much appreciated!

You should never take out/change jewelry yourself with a piercng that is still healing. If you want to keep it, buy a retainer and wear that until the piercing heals completely.

Yeah, all you're gonna do by taking it out and putting it back in is making it take much longer to heal. Lips heal very quickly anyway, as long as you take care of them properly. Mine was healed completely within three weeks, and I can take out and put back in jewelry at any time, even if I leave the ring out for a couple of months.
You really must consider what is more important to you--your job or your piercing. If it's the job, take out the ring, let it heal, and wait until you quit or get another job that allows facial piercings to get it redone again. If it's the ring, either quit your job, or perhaps talk to your boss about wearing a clear acrylic retainer while you're healing the piercing. Either way, what you're doing now is causing your piercing more harm than good because you keep tearing it open after every work shift to shove the ring back in.

Just buy a clear retainer to slip in at work, you hardly notice it's there. www.bodyartforms.com they're pretty reasonable.

`dagon Yeah, it's really bad to take them out everyday, even when it IS healed. Here's what happened to one person: http://modblog.bmezine.com/2006/09/16/ouch/ That picture was GROSS.

You should ask work if you could Possibly wear clear plastic jewelry there. For healing purposes, and ask them if you can do this only until the healing is done ans then you wont wear your junk in <3 it's worked for me and my brother
