I'm not usually into the whole romantic scene, but boredom compelled me to make this thread. Besides every fur guild needs at least one of these kind of threads ;P.
Here you can post what your dream mate would be like. This thread is geared a bit more toward single furs, but if you have a mate and still want to participate please go right ahead, This is just for fun!
I guess I go first.
Let's see well a femme dragon would be nice 3nodding . Playful, a bit of a seductress maybe wink , Loyal and fun to talk to and hang out with. She'd be really affectionate and a wonder to look at.

This is what I was afraid.
I was going to add: "Please don't say I've already found mine." or things like that. Its a bit of discouragement to those who haven't found their dream mate.
Besides, the thread was meant for imagination.

Well, considering I'm only a teen I still have time to look. I can't be sure until I mature more. I know that my mate would be considerate of my choices in friends, even if I have other guy friends, and other points of my life as well. He would be kind, but love to be a bit rowdy, if you know what I'm getting at. He wouldn't care if I'm a bit rough or if I speak my mind. He would be sensitive, but not so sensitive that if I say something slightly harsh but meant to be sarcastic. There may be more, but I can't really think of anything more right now.

Dream mate uh? Hmm.. I'd say someone ... special. Someone who I can eally feel a connection with.
And... for one, someone who liked furries. For two, someone who likes or enjoys art, cartoons/anime and video games. and Finally someone who's gorgeous and hopefully has a fursona.
... But if I go to a greater extend. (someone with a fur of a white color I don't care much for what species as long as it's in the canine/feline or lizard family. Maybe even a bunny...

Id say a naughty sides individual who know ALL of my buttons, ya know the type that knows exaclty what gets ya goin. The of person who can have a good time with me and others (hangin out wise not yiffing you furvy furs)

My ideal mate...
I thought I knew what I wanted. I even thought I had it once. Even more then once. Ok I'm going to stop being so depressing now.
I think I would have to say:
-affectionate
-loyal
-Someone that could spend time with me no matter what we did and where we were.
-preference would be a mammal furry, though it doesn't matter much. I guess a fox or wolf would be the perfect ideal, but again just a furry in general would be wonderful. It's hard to find then out here.
-I don't even have a preference on gender.
I think that's it.

Hehehe, well, I gots my almost perfect mate.
He is a cute older fox who if fun and funny. He makes me laugh alot (me tries to not let him see, I dun like my laugh).
He also really loves me, and I love him, and I just wish I wasn't such a bad boyfriend. Cuz he doesn't get to see me often, but he is ok with that.
We make up for lost time when we do see each other.
Well, more about him. Like I said, he is older..... (not like.. 50, he is a few months older. I like older guys...) Anywho... He is a really cute fox, and he is all emotional, and sensative, and huggable. But he isn't a sissy, he is all manly, but not like.... an a**.
He also likes to tease me, but only because I do it alot to him.
Ok.... enough of that... i'm getting all touchie touchie....
But yea he is my special fox and I wouldn't change him. And if he was perfect..... i'd be a little creeped out.... so i'm glad he isn't. And I wouldn't have the kind of spoiled little boy leverage I have over him.
Hehe, I like it when he can't say "no".

I almost forgot!!! Here goes:

I'm not sure if I have a dream mate right now. Just a companion--but he's about the sweetest thing there is, so we'll see what the future brings. Hehe, he's two years younger than me. ^_^;;
I'm pretty sure he's not a fur, but he's quite clingy, protective, affectionate, and generally innocent. I see him as a hound/retriever pup.

Mm.. cuddly.. preferably a cat, and preferably male.. a switch would be nice.. long hair is always a plus.. possessive AND protective.. who's not afraid to let me know when I'm being dumbtarded.. some sort of artistic pursuit is a requirement..
Hrm.. what else.. not heavy enough to crush me is kind of important, I like breathing.. a gamer.. preferably a roleplayer of some sort, be it tabletop or larp, I don't really care.. an open mind, and an open heart.. someone who I can be there for who'll be there for me.. who won't mind posing for a picture or three.. who won't tease me when I resist being called cute, but will still continue to do so.. x3
..myuu. I guess I'm a touch picky.
The cat I'm currently with.. I wouldn't call him perfect yet, as it's only been about a month, but he's certainly up there on my list.. ~<3 He plays bass, and he understands when I tell him about the minds-eye images I get when I listen to music.. he thinks it's poetic when I describe them to him. redface Heart Pip.
