Hello every one. I'm Professor Elk Sage; feel free to address me as Professor Sage. I hope to teach you all the wonderful things about medical magic. What’s so important about medical magic you ask, well it's one of the best kinds of magic in my opinion. My grade scale work like all the other teachers,
Passing Grades
O = Outstanding
E = Exceeds Expectations
A = Acceptable
Failing Grades
P = Poor
D = Dreadful
T = Troll
I hope you people realize that just because I'm young I won't go easy on you; assignments must be in on time unless you’re excused. I hope to not use the book that often seeing as real healing magic comes for your emotions. So please be well behaved and complete all assignment. Also I do offer extra credit if you miss and assignment, it won't completely save you but it might help. Last but not least I will explain how I give out points. The student with the best grade at the end of the every week house will receive some points from me (About 10). Now that we have all that out of the way I hope to have a good year with all of you. Also I'm here after class every day so if you have any questions feel free to ask. (ooc: please pm me any questions you have.)

Lesson 1(ooc: I added this picture because some people were getting the lime herb mixed up with the fruit, sorry I should have been more clear on this.) ~Lime~ Alright every one, It's time for my first lesson. Today I will teach you about some magic herbs. We will start with Lime, it's not really a herb but it will do. Lime is known to be one of the best remedies available for insomnia. Some use it for wrinkles and freckles. The best way to use it is to drink it, put 15-30gr of this herb into 1 liter of boiling water, it's like making tea. Then let it sit for 10 minutes before drinking it. Recommended usage is two to three cups a day. (ooc: I wouldn't recommend trying this unless you have quality lime, you can get some at specialty health stores.) Alright every one it's time for your first assignment, you are to write one sentence about what you learned from my lecture (ooc: please pm me this). I will write it on the board so no one forgets. It will be due on August 28. This is a very easy assignment, every one should get a A on it at the very least, the only way you couldn't is if u don't do it at all... ~First Assignment~
Due 8/28 - write one sentence about what you learned from my lecture (ooc: please pm me this).I forgot to mention I want every one to pratice this very simple healing spell, to use it flick your wand and say "Episkey". See now wasn't that simple. It's a very good spell to heal small cuts and such, try it out on your own. O.K. you are dismissed for now.

Iridessa entered the classroom, she took a seat towards the front and removed her ink, quill and parchment and began taking notes on the lecture. "Episkey." She muttered to herself trying out the new lesson. Within an instand her paper cut was healed. "Cool." She grinned.

Audrey peeled the bandaid off the scrape on her knee that she got yesterday from tripping on the stairs. "episkey" she muttered, and the once painful scrape was no more

Professor Sage watches Illuminatus as he does this. "Remeber, the episkey spell doesn't work if you make the wound too big, so please be more careful" Professor Sage says with a sigh.

Bryce entered the classroom, his shaggy brown hair messy. He took a seat and pointed his wand at the cut on his knee. "Episkey!" He said clearly and the cut healed. "Awesome." He marvled at the healthy skin where the cut had been.

~Surprise Extra Credit I~
Alright every one it's time for some surprise extra credit! This can only count for one of you. The first person to complete it will earn 5 house points for there house. Here it is, try to be the first one! Write two sentences about the true purpose of medical magic. This is a pretty complicated question (ooc: not really) so that’s why it's extra credit. There are many right answers so decide on your own.
Audrey Page (moonzeppelin cool has won the extra credit! Gryffindor House will revieve 5 house points.
In second was Illuminatus (Lord Illuminatus), as a consilation prize Slytherin House will recieve 1 house point.

Illuminatus raised his hand and said, "Medicinal magic is primarily used to heal injuries and treat illnesses. It also is used to treat muggles who have had severe exposure to the wizarding world."

Naddie sat down next to Erasmus. "Hello." she greeted him. She scratched her finger so it made a small cut. "Episkey" the wound healed quickly. "It does work." she said. She tried the burn mark on her ankle. "Episkey." she said. the burn disappeared without a mark. "Wow." she said, looking at her ankle.

Lesson 2
~Wound Healing Spell~
Ok every one its time to learn some more difficult healing magic. Today I will teach you the wound healing spell. Remember this spell is very difficult to master and may take several days of practice to get it right. This spell, unlike Episkey, can heal large wounds and knit the skin back together, but don't think you'll be invincible; this spell does have its limits. Alright there are 3 rules to this spell. The first rule is you must be complete free of malicious intent to cast it. The second rule is you must be completely focused, and the last one is you must believe in your own power. There are no real words or chants to this spell. So you must focus with out an incantation, try practicing on a rip piece of paper, although it's not like skin, if you can do it to the paper that you can probably do it on skin. Ok every one try your best, and remember you probably won't get it right the first couple of times. Also I'll give you a new assignment, here I'll write it on the board, good luck class. Also this assignment will be worth two grades and it will be due September 5th, O.K. class dismissed
