Right, I hope I dont get told off for this, but I noticed alot of people who rp here, dont know how to fight. So, heres the basics:
Right, if you want to attack someone, you have to attempt it, like this:
Example
She drew back her clenched fist, swinging it right for his jaw.
Now, the opponent, can either dodge, defend or take the hit. Now depending on what is realistic, if they are too fast or strong for them, then that will decide what should happen.
Example
Person 1: She drew back her clenched fist, swinging it right for his jaw.
Person 2: He wasnt as quick as her, so as a consequense, her hard punch landed on his jaw, a deafening crack being emitted.

Right, now listen up skipper! Nobody is Chuck Norris! We are all not invincible with a hell of an roundhouse kick, so lets get down to earth shall we?
Okay, so want to shoot someone. Again, you have to attempt it, ALL MOVES MUST BE ATTEMPTED!
The person being shot at, more than likely, cannot dodge bullets. A bullet could possibly be blocked if by a sword or armour, but please dont act like your totally invaunerable, its not very fun.
Basically, no matter what you are in an rp, you have to act as if you fear it hurting you, even if you more than likely know it wont, because it should have some effect if a bullet peirces you.

Lol, I made my character into the type of guy that pushes through the pain when it matters and as soon as whatever it was is over, collapses in a completely horrific state (last time he broke both arms, 3 fingers, 4 ribs ((two jutting out)) and both his legs ((his left one had the bone sticking out of the skin)) oh, and he had 3rd degree burns, gunshot wounds, and gashes covering his body) xp He's a nutjob

Kaines good at dodging and he doesnt take hits that often he usually blocks with one of his many weapons, he almost always goes unconcious after a fight from exhaustion though, ivan's like a bull and hes a huge guy he can take hits but he cant dodge for crap hes good with teamwork and one on one fist fights and tatyana snipes and plots and never actually gets in fights she always runs away before anyone can do anything about ir but she always gets people to kill each other for her.

I understand what you mean Rai, I`ve had to write a whole story with my best friend before, and it was so hard. We managed to do about 35 A4 pages before we had an arguement xD.
And Toekiyo, all that is well and fine, but every action has a consequence, so if Ivan took a good few bullets, later on he'd have to remove them or he`d be quite hurt, or something along those lines, you follow?

I just have my character not bother to take out the bullets. He has like a bi-jillion by now. Oh, btw, he's REALLY REALLY emo at the moment XD
