Okay, I figured no one's going to be looking in "Happy Thanksgiving" and expecting to find recrutment discussion, it goes here. Here's the stick. We've got about four regurly posting members. By that, I mean ones who do at least once a day. In those I count Myself, Dagoth, Pygmi, and Scratch. Jule and Blade are also current contributers to the system. Raven, RadicalEd, and just about anyone else who would be reading this don't post too much. The point is we need new members. Even if all of those posted regularly, I don't know about you people, but I rember the good old day when the Yarnball would go about ten pages if I went off for lunch. That was a bit of a pain. But the point is that we're bearly crawling along. Of course, I realize that with the current RP, there is little way to inject new members, so I propse that we finish that off as quick as possible, then start a recruiting campaign. The natural place to start would be Barton. That's where the RPers go. Commerse less so, not that they aren't RPers, but they do a different sort of RP then we tend to look for. My current thought would be that we start a "pirate RP" that involves typical pirate activity, raiding ships, ect. Label it literate. Lay down some rules, and note near the bottom that we're looking for members to join the guild. The idea would be when you're on you could RP there, and hopfuly attract new people, by virtue of the post being at the top of the list, and therefore getting attention. Any other suggestions are welcome, I'm not foolish enough to belive that I have the only possible solution, but it seems like a good start.

Right, that's cool, so what's your idea. It's your guild, you're the captian, but if you want to run this democraticly, then put your vote in, what do you think? Or, we could run this "democraticly" and everyone privatly submits their vote to me, leaving no paper trail, and I declare myself the winner! It worked for Bush, why not us?

Nice wording Scratch... A dictatorship... anyway if I run into any good RPers that I think would survive for more than a few posts I'll send them along... I mean... well... depends really..

yes mae would, hence why im never leaving him in charge when im away. however one of you lucky punks is gonna get to run my guild from dec 26th to jan 2nd as im away skiing for a week. i haven't decided who yet though .

'Sall right, I'll be out of town anyways. But honestly! I'm hurt! I can be responsable. Besides, it's hard to run the place with an iron fist anyways. We're all too open minded for that to work.

Oh, yeah! I rember that! If I recall the full context was all of gaia and limits involving weaponry. In that I get it, and you get it, but the pleabens wouldn't get it.

That was my point. I didn't mean I'd rule the guild with an iron fist. I'd lose any athority. I'm not saying I'd be effective as a leader/ruler person. But I've done alright in the past while scratch wasn't here.
