this is a trailer for the new hime series. it seems like a prequal to mai otome cause it has a young miss maria and john smith. also i has the blue sappire diamond otome-sarah or something(well akiras mom). it looks interesting. since there was no natsuki or shizuru in the trailer it could be for a number of reasons. 1) they might not be in the series. not sure if it is reall y in fact a prequal but if it is and it goes back far enogh it could be that shizuru and natsuki are even not born 2) they are still at the academy(if this is the case yay-shiznat) 3) they haven't gone to gardarobe yet. well i'm hoping there still at the academy cause there is a higher chance for shiznat. but whatever it is it seems interesting. also there is mayo from mai hime destiny. welll sorta she seemed liked an otome cause she had that earring thing anyway here is the link to the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtOaJzcZFKc

I'm very disappointed to see Mayo in this. At least she probably won't have her stupid handcuffs on. (Although that would be pretty freaking hilarious... an Otome with permanent handcuffs... =P

.... Did Otome do really good in Japan or something? why is that trainwreck of a series getting continuation while HiME is left to rot?
I mean, I'd rather see them continue to rape the dead corpse of Otome over HiME, but Jesus. gonk Sunrise did Gundam, didn't they? Guess they just don't know when they have a good thing or when to STOP. confused

i think the reason people don't like it is b/c HiME was soooooo good, that they expected otome to be even better

so people hated it for that
oh yeah, AND the ending for otome sucked. badly.

In my opinion HiME was much better and all we got was Mai HiME destiny (however bad it is) but Otome was pretty dam good in some aspects. and for all we know sunrise is nudging us on until the send out the next HiME to blow us away (His standing hope) and saying hi is fun.

yes of course they are just biding there time until WHAM! they give us the ulimate hime sequal filled with fights between childs, more angst(wha is hime without angst) yuki kanjura music and of course shiznat(with angst but of course through some utterly romantic event-one person risks there life for the other or somthing they get together.unrealistic sorta, impossible i should say not. scream ) yes thats what sunrise will do..yes....of course....*rocks back in forth in a corner* eek ummmm..yeah well like some other hime fans i would love a sequal for hime. biggrin
