The basic idea is a group or community of people who believe in the power of computers and technology above human and animal superiority, in short the longevity and promotion of the human race through the genetic, chemical, and technological alteration of the human element.
It boils down to a mess of religion, ideals, insanity and political ideals.
Statistically most people who consider themselves cyber punk are undecided about their religious status and are usually anarchist. we believe in a different power, one faster and more intellegent than us that we want to be part of. The themes Of cyber punk came about long ago when the technological age came about, the celebration of computers and man joining hands, whether it be to increase intelligence or to make something as primal as music. Unlike some subcultures Cyber punk does not require any fancy clothes or attitudes, were all all very rebellious and well practically rebel to anything as the song from mindless self indulgence goes..... Industrial music was founded on the principles of experimentation and cyber punk culture of the time, we have a result now that is the industrial scene, cyber punk in masquerade. There is a popular clothing style that we all seem to like though, evil dark, showing off our gadgets and acting a little strange. Nowadays, the industrial music scene involves a lot of...... unsupported ideals, mostly consisting of better living through chemistry and drugs, violence, sex, and fun.
