To the North of Tokyo is the Katsarugi Shrine within the stone fence is a dense tree line. The stone steps lead to the top of the hill where the shrine is nestled, near the shrine are three storage rooms for sacred objects and objects for special holidays celebrated by the Japanese. Behind the shrine is a three story building that was made to house the Keepers.
In the living world the Shrine as been noted to be the most haunted place in Tokyo with the sound of moaning and screams. Yet in the Spiritual it is a refuse for the departed souls and before Gurth a place for weak Hollows to get a meal, now that Gurth is around most weak Hollows have a hard time feeding.

Gurth Katsarugi sat on the very top of the family shrine, not many could pull this feat off except for her and Raven Stormrider, father's new hand, she had a little girl that she called Ogin meaning Wild Rose, Raven to Gurth was strange Raven normally kept to herself, had a tent pitch somewhere on the shrine and chants could be heard at times. Unlike Gurth, Raven was from North America though she doesn't talk about it Gurth still liked Raven. And was even more pleased to find out that Raven was much like her in the aspect that Raven and Gurth could see spirits, Raven called them ancestors with was basically correct in that they were someone's family members.
It sadden Raven the most when the yearly gathering of spirits would occur because it wasn't just the elderly, or those that were adults, but children as well. Gurth had learned to accepted that fact but it, hurt her to see Raven like that.
During the yearly gathering Gurth and Raven had to fight off the strange creatures would attack the spirits. Now was that gathering of spirits and Raven was taking care of Ogin whom had come down sick, Gurth lent her room the the mother and child to keep watch over the grounds.
The first sound of the creatures was heard...

Kay walked under the shadow of trees, avoiding the sunlight. After a few miles walk he found himself stood in front of a stone steps leading to the top of the hill.
And then he also heard it. A faint roar up there, along with a slight fluctuation of reiatsu. He took a quick sprint to the top, while calling his bow.
"Aetherna..."
He arrived at the top, and found a pretty large shrine in front of him. The roaring voice came from a huge, bad-looking monster on the corner. Seemed like it just appeared a moment ago.
Kay pulled his bow's string, gathering his black reiatsu on his hand, then released it to the creature...

'What is this a visitor to the shrine and he seems to be somewhat like me.' Gurth thought to herself, standing up from her spot on the roof.
"Zochoten! Attack." Gurth ordered, as the phoenix formed in flight, within seconds it attacked the creature in the back, three other creatures formed around her, a tiger, tortoise, and a small dragon.

Kay stood still as Gurth attacked the creature, wondering how could a little girl called such creatures to fight for her. But there's no time to waste. As the phoenix attacked the monster, another monster appeared behind the girl, much bigger than the first one. Kay cut his palm, blood dripped from the wound. He rose his arm then shouted...
"Fenrir!!"
A large black wolf rushed from Kay's shadow, attacked the second monster and ripped its hand. Kay gazed at Gurth and remarked with his cold, deep voice.
"Watch your back, girl..."

Gurth stuck out her tongue as she jumped from the roof being grabbed by the phoenix and the dragon she landed gracefully. Taking a look to her house.
"RAVEN WE COULD USE SOME HELP THERE'S MORE THAN EXPECTED!" Gurth yelled out, before dodging an attack.
After a few minutes of using the Tortoise as a shield a black panther came from the house. In a female voice: "She is on her way." As it joined in the battle. As Zochoten and the panther took down one Hollow, Raven finally joined the fight, she was wearing tan clothes a chocker, and a headdress of wolf's fur.
"Wolf's fangs bite." She said, and an energy attack in the shape of a wolf's head shot from her and basically bite down on a hollow, causing the Hollow to disappear.
"Sorry bout calling you out her Rav." Gurth said, getting scratch by a Hollow, causing the Phoenix to attack the Hollow, and the Panther as well.
"It's okay. I got Ogin to sleep." She said, sending out another attack at a hollow. "So how's the guy?"
"Dunno he was here when the first thing attacked." Gurth replied, taking down the another Hollow. "But let's wait till after this battle to ask questions."
(Hollows left: 4)

"Lord of frozen realm, the master of raging blizzard, bring forth your wrath, cast your foe into an eternal winter!!"
As Kay shouted the incantation, a mass of freezing air burst out, devoured two hollows and changed them - as well as the trees around them - into a huge block of ice. The frozen hollows then scattered as a million pieces of ice...

"Nice." She said, seeing two of the creatures get destroyed. "Zochoten!" She yelled, as from her phoenix's back a hollow hit it. Turning back to spiritual energy the bird returned to Gurth, she winced in pain as she fell to one knee.
Raven saw what happened and use wolf's fangs and took out the same creature.

Kay quickly turned, whispering other incantation. Suddenly the earth beneath the hollow turned into a quicksand. The quicksand slowly devoured the hollow...
"So..." Kay stared at the two ladies in front of him, "sorry to bother you, but I just couldn't stand these creatures..."
He frowned and called Fenrir back to him, as the last hollow finally disappeared into the quicksand...

Gurth stood up holding her chest. "I've had to deal with these things for a few years now, it wasn't till recently that I've been able to fight them." She replied finally realizing what had happened. "You can see them too?!" She asked in near complete shock. "I thought that Rav and I were the only ones who could."
Raven's headdress disappeared, revealing her long black hair. "I'm going back inside, the fighting could have waken Ogin, Panther will stay behind to speak on my behalf." Raven said walking of, leaving the black Panther behind.
"Okay Rav, go back to her, and thank you again. I'm glad that you decided to work through my father to stay here." Gurth said, as all she got was a way and a smile from Raven.

Gurth looked puzzled. "A what?" It was obvious that with that comment that she has no clue what he was talking about.

"Hollow? Those creatures we were fighting right?" Gurth asked, trying to piece this all together. "So is there anything else that I might need to know about this whole mess that I'm now in?" Now wanting to know a bit more.

"No... except if you also haven't known about shinigami..." Kay called Fenrir back to his side, and stared at Gurth with his cold eyes. "If you don't have another question, I shall go then..."
