Lookie what I found: Skittles Of Darkness woofbarkarf [Sai.kou] woofbarkarf RHShipper I can see how compared to the entire population on Gaia we're in the minority, but what I really want to know is how many Gaians actually use the Marketplace for trades of over 5k regularly, and how many of them are complaining. There are hundreds of gaians bumpin innocently haveing no idea what is going on. Everytime I try talking to someone in the chatterbox about the 2% thing, they are completly confused and have no idea what is going on, or even that there is a new market up stare My friend (the one who introduced me to gaia) didn't even know about it and she practically lives on gaia. The reason only the minority is rebeling, is that only the minority has any idea what is going on. I only found out by going to site feedback by mistake. I have three accounts, I'm on gaia all day.... It's because they place the annoucements at the bottem of the home page and people ignore the link in their pop up bubbles. I really wish they'd place the annoucements at the top, like I suggested over and over to them... I quess we should start informing the populace, ni?

Agreed. Because I can bet that once the system comes out, many more complaints and topics are going to come out. By then it will be too late. The only thing (once the system is in place) is to change or modify it. At least that is what I have seen in Gaia's history.

Whats the best way to inform them all? Drop threads in to every forum telling them the truth? seems more like the staff are trying to make this seem like its not a big deal so we dont ahve the support we need,

I keep trying to tell people in the GCD, but they keep calling me an idiot (well the exact wording was 'foolish'). I guess ignorance is bliss, until it effects them directly.
They call Vendors greedy! gonk I guess the Pro Tax people can only come up with personal attacks to justify their side. crying
And I can't seem to believe Lanzer when he says they 'are only trying it out for a short while, then deciding.'

Every time i think about it, all this really seems to do in the end is raise prices or make people want to earn gold faster so they can deal with the market thing, and we all know the fastest way to earn gold here on gaia, buy sealed letters... If you ask me this seems to be about getting more money in their pockets.

Like when my school does the announcements on the intercom....no one's really listening xd
We're not greedy, we want what's best for everyone D: People fail to see that. They're stubborn and they can't see through it and give both sides a chance.

Most of the Gaians I have talked to about this have been from the Exchange,and basically everyone understands it there
BUT.
I have heard some people thinking that the 2% tax is only 2g.
Meaning only 2g is deducted.
Most people dont bother to even read the whole announcement either,so they are always confused when people bring up the discussion.
"Lol wut r u talkin bout?"
"Did you read the announcement?"
"er...no 8D"
So that maybe quite a big reason why :[
But most people who use the Marketplace regularly,with bigger items and such know about it.
And they should.
Its bullshit. Its going to screw us and them over.
