Okay so.
I have a question.
How do people react in public when you're wearing decora?
Good or Bad? Explain. ^w^
It could be at the mall, school or anywhere else.
I'm asking because I /really/ want to wear decora to school but ugh. >_>...<_<

I normally get a negative reaction when I wear decora-styled stuff, I'm afraid. :/
Get called a mess, and such..
But, a lot of people called me original and are suprised at my confidence? :/

I don't really get a reaction as such. People look for a minute or so, then walk away. I get mixed reactions from my friends, too - one thinks it's really super-cute, and another thinks I've just finally flipped. xd

A lot of people stare, and some tend to talk bad about me behind m y back. DX But I learn to ignore them.

I wore proper decora the other day, and my Mum was like 'It is cute, actually', my Dad was like 'Woah, hairclips', and my Nan and Grandad love it now. So I'm happy. 3nodding

My boyfriend and my bestie think it's adorable.
My bestie and I are gonna dress up in decora on Halloween.
Not to give the fashion a bad name but that's the only time we actually have the guts to try it out and we'll see how people react. :3

I was decora for the first time on the first day of school...once I got over the "omg-everyones-staring-at-me" hurdle (which, admittedly, happened later than it should've, but then I discovered people weren't staring at all) I felt happy and comfortable with how I was dressed, which is how you should always feel with everything anyway. I didn't get too many comments or anything. One of my bffs made sort of a deal out of it but in a good way. I was never very original in my dress before now, but I had mentioned it to her the day before and she encouraged me to go for it. Actually, I got more negative reactions when I wore armwarmers with a "normal" outfit than when I was all decked out in rainbows. ("lol u oviusly emo cuz u were sox on ur hands 2 cover ur scars ololol" - I don't see how they got "emo" out of how I had dressed the day before. They're hard on my friend who declared herself punk, as well.) Anyways, rambling, I just wanted to share I guess. =P

People are ALWAYS staring at me when I wear decora.
To be honest, not alot of people wear decora here.
I`ve only seen 2 girls who were wearing decora.
Not full though, just accessories. >.>

I got 3 pairs at Ardene actually, like 2 years ago (thay just started selling them again, woohoo), but I dunno if they have it in the US...

I went to the mall wearing full blown decora once and I noticed people sorta just glanced, they're not like O_O omgomgomg.

Well, the first time I ever went to school in decora, I got mixed reactions.
I had people laughing at me, and pointing. I knew they were making fun of me, but I didn't care. Mainly because I was having so much fun being who I am.
On the other side, I had so many people complimenting me. Lots of people wanted to take pictures of me.
I've NEVER seen anyone else in my city dressed in decora. Everyone here is scene or emo T___T

I was wearing Decora through the mall and a girl whispers to her friend "Why would you wear that?!" I didn't care because I loved what I was wearing! heart whee
