Well, since I'm a book worm, today I bought a new book called The Looking Glass Wars. It's basically a spin-off of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. I'm a huge fan of Lewis Caroll, so I was really excited to see this remake of it. My two favorite characters are so much more awesome now! X3 The Mad Hatter is a stoic bodyguard named Hatter Madigan, and the Cheshire Cat is an assassin with nine lives that's half cat, half human. =D Then I also bought vol.7 of xxxHolic since I happen to also be a fan of CLAMP. Who doesn't love a story with fluff ball and a witch that both love to drink any kind of liquor, demons and other paranormal oddities, and granted wishes payed for in the most ironic and sometimes deadly ways?

I know that Tsubasa and xxxHolic are crossovers. I couldn't call myself a fan if I didn't know that. I have both series. Like I've said before, I have a huge manga collection.

The Real Alchemist
Has anybody ever read Eragon?

I have. The first time I tried reading it I couldn't finish it because Eragon just annoyed me to no end. The second time I tried I almost finished it with only a chapter to go, but just couldn't do it anymore. XP I love dragons, but not dragon books. I've only ever enjoyed Joust by Mercedes Lackey. Her dragons are amazing and very believable and I loved the Ancient Egyptian-esque setting. But I love Holly Black's books (Tithe, Valiant, Ironside, and Spiderwick Chronicles), Libba Bray (A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels, and The Sweet Far Thing), Stephenie Meyer (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Midnight Sun) and Lemony Snicket (A Series of Unfortunate Events). Mostly I read about vampires, werewolves, Murderous, bloodthirsty faeries, and anything out of the ordinary.

**Edit**
I just watched Big Fish, and I love it! Granted, I've been a Tim Burton fan for 13 out of my 16 years of life, but that's not the only reason why I LOVE this movie. It is the only film I've ever seen that made me cry. Not watery eyes, or just a tear, but really made me cry. But I wasn't crying because it made me sad, I was actually crying because it made me feel so happy. I don't want to give anything away in case someone on here hasn't watched it, so I'll just say that if it made me feel that much emotion it has to be a great movie.

(Excuse the double posting)

Just an amusing little tidbit but----

I was in History class on Friday and so we had to answer some questions about a politician named George Washington Plunkitt, and as I'm reading a handout we were given about him I had a revelation that he was the most condescending, sly, arrogant p***k I had ever heard of! So when I was answering the questions about him I started ranting about how OBVIOUSLY the Congress was out to get him by limiting the jobs in office he was able to bribe people's votes with and how the world would cease to exist if ANYONE like him ever held office. It was full of sarcasm and my own frustration at this guy who hasn't lived for a hundred years now. I was glad that I got it all out, but I'm pretty sure that on Monday my teacher's going to kill me.

You must watch it.

When blood+ just came on adult swim I thought it was weird but now that I gave it a chance I am obsessed with it now lol. Watched 20 episodes yesterday and 20 today =D, after that I am gonna watch Claymore.

So like should we make this a get-to-known-the-users topic like post pictures, personal life, etc? or just talk about things we are doing concerning anime?
