I've noticed that alot of people in this guild tend to find it a little difficult to run structured RP. I'm not saying the RPing in this guild isn't good, I'm just referring to the occasional hiccups in the RPs caused by either individuals not posting for a few days and an occasional general breakdowns in communication. Essentially, these aren’t big problems but occasionally they can cause player to become removed from the RPs creating lest depth and intrigue and slows the overall flow of the RP.
Now the other day this got me pondering and after noticing that this guild has a tendency to favour shorter less complex posts in RP, why not rather than running all Forum based RP run some Chat based RP. I mean sure it could be a bit of a hassle to organize a time when some guild members would all be online. But, I don’t imagine it to be impossible. I mean essentially all you'd need is four or so keen role players to plan a time when they can all be online simultaneously for a reasonable length of time. I’m not sure if any one else has had experience Chat RPing but as someone who has I can assure you that it has the potential to be alot more involved than forum based and often much more interesting (not to mention efficient).
If people are willing to try and give it a go I'd be happy to organize something for the near future and it could easily be run though Gaia Towns
Now, chat based RP can seem very intimidation to someone who has only forum RPed before. Essentially you’re trying to come up with the same stuff you might send 5 or 10 minutes writing in a matter of seconds. But trust me, once you’ve given it a bit of practice, it gets much easier and if we were to give it a go there would be little expectations and you'd be amongst nice patient people who wouldn't care if you made a right mess of things whee
Leave me your thoughts on this. Do you think it could work? If not why? And, after all else, are you up for it? I know I am...

I know what your saying. I actually encourage the extended responses, as they give a better vision of the fight or picture. When i RP, if everyone else is more or less Chat RPing, then i simply play the game like that. While for the most part, i see several people who seem quite interested in RPing like that, such as yourself, Daemosa, Nuo, And BDA, it is excessively found that most people simply Chat RP. Thats why i left the Random Rp section, while i work on the more advanced RP.

Well what im saying is that is dosen't really matte that people tend to favor shorter posts I just though it would be a good idea to run a RP through towns so people can respond immediately witch will essentially speed up the flow of a game and create a greater sense of involvement.

I see. Now that they have things such as the water guns, and balloons that can add a little comedy as well. That, and running away is easier, , as well as hiding......hmmm, this dragon might make me stick out.
