Yup, I went to the reading festival! (I don't know what Leeds was like...)
I only got a ticket for saturday, but stayed until this monday morning because I got a lift off someone who had the whole week ticket.
But the lineup was awesome (IMO)
here's what i saw:
paramore
the dead 60's
eagles of death metal (fookin brilliant with the crowd lol)
the shins (they were kinda boring neutral )
angels and airwaves (they got bottled a LOT rofl )
panic! at the disco (awesomeness to the max - i love 'em and was singing along merrily. though a bottle did hit me square in the neck)
shiny toy guns
arcade fire
RHCP
I was up front for all of them except the last two, because shiny toy guns was on a different stage. i had such an awesome time, even if the prices were extorionate and the toilets were the most disgusting things for mankind to have ever faced...
seeing all those people live was brilliant and well worth the money (mainly because i didn't pay for the ticket XD)
i shall definitely go next year. whether i go for the whole thing or just one day again depends. I might not have the money ;__;
the camping.. now THAT was an experience in itself.
first off i stayed in the quiet area, which was nice and nothing too rowdy.
second night, i stayed in the pits.. the place was like a pig sty (except it's actually a cow field). From when the whole thing finished sunday night, people were getting compleeeeetely drunk as expected - then started an 'angry mob'. This meant a HOARDE of people were marching around the campsite chanting "ANGRY MOB, ANGRY MOB" and a constant drumming of god knows what.. and smashing guitars and bins... and drumming .. and chanting and drumming. All none stop until like 5 or 6 am.
I woke up at one point and there was a huge fire near my tent.. I thought my tent was alight though .. s**t scary. People were actually setting tents alight.. blowing gas canisters up and s**t. I get up later at 8ish, and see that the electricity pylon thingy has DISAPPEARED and there's a trail of wires... ******** knows what they did.
All in all though, it was amazing, and I loved it.
giant yorkshire puds ftw!

 HAHA ANGRY MOB totally cracked me up - but it sounds about right - when i went to leeds 02 there was rioting , sadly 2 of my friends instigated it and wanted to burn the toilets, one got a deoderant cansister blown up in his face and had to go to the medics and guess what he got given 2 free tickets for the next year @__@
they probably didnt know about the rioting though @_@
and i totally havent heard of half of those bands D: in fact all of them side RHCP - omg D: im so outta touch now D:
and god yes the toilets i will NEVER forget them at leeds, literally piled up to the brim .. sometime soverflowing and seriously nausiating you like couldnt sit on them at the end D: you had to crouch over them D:
and angry mobs burning stuff is never fun especially if they burn tents D: and steal things @__@ that must have been so so so scary D:

xD you should check out all those bands, they're groovy.
and that sucks, during the setup intervals, they kept showing that 'don't throw gas canisters' advert thingy and a guy with his face scarred. I don't think anyone was throwing them, but just throwing them onto burning tents.
we didn't have overflowing toilets, there were 'toilet teams' who tried to sort out the toilets.. but they couldn't make it less disgusting D:
and i was terrified xD I didn't get anything stolen though

@__@ Toilet teams thats a new one >_< i dread to think what they did and i do wonder what happened to that Pylon D:
Good that nothing got stolen though - that happens a LOT

I like paramore, rhcp and I know a little by shiny toy guns. I wouldn't have minded seeing all them, but I stand by my choice with Dave <3
Luckily no fights started near me, although I almost instigated one with that t**t shoving me around ¬_¬

I wish i took some photos D: they where groovy though @_@ we wernt too close though just watching in the background i was still groovy though i saw them with john i think xD
