I have checked internet polls on many sites and he is in the lead. Why do I think so? Because the media has put him in the category of young but also as an African-American. He is truly mixed but they would just lump him in and expect every African-American to vote for him. As if we don't pay attention to their ideas and actions. As if all black people will only vote for the Democratic Party. Any comments on this?

I see your point there. Since they are hardly elected, I think they have more time to get to issues, not say things to make impressions on voters.

my whole thing is if you ask if america is ready for a black president the answer is obvious.....no think about lets just say any african american is appointed to office. or any minority for that matter you cant say that as soon as they are elected they wont get shot by some racist "patiot" who thinks he is saving america.
