im battling Ovan and I had him at 10 hp left and he killed me, I always get killed when I could kill him with one more hit, plz somebody help me.

What's your level and who are you bringing with you?
1st time beat
Level: 97
Teamates: Atoli(Level 97) Matsu(Level 96)
Strategies: Atoli was set to life. Matsu was set to Rage. Kept their SP healthy and used the Twin Blades, Wrath Heaven+5 (Shark Tooth + Scorpion Tail) And just kept attacking.

Vol.3 hints:
Haseo:
Level: 120
Weapon(s): Wrath Mujin, Wrath Otome, lvl 3 growth Ticking death.
Armor: Rainbow scale
Acc: (Not sure what it was called but it had an item boost item in it.) Hood
Atoli:
Level: 118
Weapon: (Her lost weapon, level 2)
Armor: Just buy the best one you can afford and alchemize.
Acc: Medic Fortunes +5 (Three heal knowledge items)
Kuhn:
Level: 117
Weapon: (His lost weapon, level 3)
Armor: Same as Atoli, buy the best you can and alchemize it.
Acc: Simple watch (I got lucky, I suggest you give him something better.)
It really just becomes a battle of the items. If you don't have 50 of all the best healing items then I suggest leveling each character a little more than I did. 3nodding

I beat volume 3 Ovan without the lost weapons, with Atoli and Kuhn, at a level higher than yours. ^^; I just used up a LOT of items! DX

i used the doppleganger weps lol one of the best items you could get in the game and still could be used even when your lvl 136 XDDD.

1. get a lot of healing items and share them with your teem
2. use twinblades and don't stop use twinblade skills and avi awakenings

The only thing I was truly worried about was his 2000+ attack. O_O; That was weird/unexpected/mean.

Go up like three levels and his cut scene attack's damage will be almost cut in half. That's what I did. ^^
If only he wasn't immune to statuses, you would be able to Confuse-lock him with Heine's Invasion. neutral

gettin rid of those neighbor aida things are important so u shd use reaper's dance on em alot+item spamming sp^

pretty much the best method is to get level 3 arts powered up enough so they don't take a lot sp to use and beat him down as long as get rid those pesky sphere that heal him he goes down easier. still having healing items that restore hp and sp greatly helps. beat on first try though it took longer then expected. his avatar battle that was another story since that darn arm made it hard to get in to slash to do good damage. anyone have an idea on how to beat those nasty lost weapon guardians so you can unleash the full potential. i mean i thought bring plenty of status effect items etc would help but they don't tend to stay long enough to be of any help. I
