i like the used, my chemical romance, evanecsence, flyleaf, and many others.

the point of this is to ask what bands you like that are emo.

None of those bands are Emo at all, not even close.

Emo is a sub-genre of Hardcore Punk and does not need it's own forum.

Bullet For My Valentine is listed under the genre of Metalcore, not emo.

Dare you even add the words emo and metal together? The closest emo comes to metal is emo core, emo music with heavier and lower music and a more extreme mindset.

I'm with Doorehinge on this, I hate it.

Emo is a shameful act of Pop and Glam, trading in the good 'ol rock 'n roll for poppy yet depressing lyrics, screaming, and really tight pants and make up.

I don't give a damn for looks, I wanna hear a composition that brings goosebumps to my skin, not sickens my stomach.
