Welcome to the gaming guides subforum. Here any user may share his/her expertise on a certain game to other members.
Anyone can submit a guide on any game, so long as it follows these guidelines:
-Make sure your guide is helpful. This should go without saying. If you make a guide with the intention of misleading users or it is vague, your submission will be edited or deleted.
-Make sure your guide is legible, too. Chatspeak and blinding font styles/colors will be edited or deleted. You may also provide a link to a guide that YOU, YOURSELF, AND YOU* typed elsewhere provided it is also legible.
-Plagiarism will not be tolerated. I WILL be checking to see where your guide is elsewhere on the internet. Plagiarism is grounds for a deletion and temporary to permanent banning from the guild.
-The guide you submit must be of a game that does not already have a guide. We all know Halo's awesome, but having 50 walkthroughs on it just creates spam. There will be a sticky with links to all guides so you know if one has already been posted.
-Adding to someone else's guide, whether you want to add a new bit to the guide or notice a factual error, is allowed in the form of a comment. Also, be polite about it. Any "HOMG you stupid n00b that's not how you do it" comments are uncalled for and will be edited/deleted.
-Do not make new threads asking for help on a specific game. There will be a sticky for that.
-Guides still under construction are allowed, provided they are regularly updated.
