Its basically just a place of neverending torment, isn't it? Lots of dark, lots of pain, lots of time to listen to your brain cells dying. -_-''
There are some people that are of the opinion that Heaven and Hell change in apperance according to what the person is most afraid of, but I dont think thats what my church preaches. I dont really know though, so I'll ask my pastor. smile stare

Um... I think the idea of a heaven and hell is stupid... I think the idea of hell is just a story to scare us into obeying what they say. I mean all the ideas of hell are a twisted parts of the wiccan religion. The pentagram originaly symbolized the four elements plus the 5th spirit. The church just inverted it and called it evil and we believe them.

I mean all the ideas of hell are a twisted parts of the wiccan religion. The pentagram originaly symbolized the four elements plus the 5th spirit. The church just inverted it and called it evil and we believe them. Actually, on the subject of the pentagram, there was a point in time when the christian church used it to symbolize thier faith. Instead of the 5 points of the star representing the elements and the spirit, it represented the 5 wounds of Christ (one in each hand, one in each foot, and the crown of thorns on his head.) Later, it was re-adopted by the Wicca culture. Also, Christians didn't invert the pentagram and call it evil, satanists did. They use it as their symbol because, if one uses the imagination, you can see the image of the devil in it. (If im wrong, forgive me. Its been a while since I looked this stuff up. xd )

I visualize hell being divided so as depending on the seriousness of your sins, you are punished accordinly. For example, a person like Hitler would recieve a far worse punishment than a person who was a theif because of the nature of the sins.

Novembere Shadows I visualize hell being divided so as depending on the seriousness of your sins, you are punished accordinly. For example, a person like Hitler would recieve a far worse punishment than a person who was a theif because of the nature of the sins. Sounds like Dantees Inferno. It's a good read, about a man going threw hell. In the end it says that we're all screwed and are all going to hell, if not pergatory... If you're lucky.

He wrote that because he was band or excilded(sorry if I mispell) for something...I can't remeber, he was mad at the world and the chruch when he wrote it, because to him the chruch was evil for doing that to him.

People can prove a million different things from the christian religion, but some of it cant be proven. I cant tell anyone for certain weather or not Satan is reall, or if heaven is reall, or if hell is reall, because I've never met him, or been to those places. In the end, its just what you believe, and thats it. You could be right about hell being a story to keep us in line, but you cant be sure your right, and doesn't it make more sense to try and avoid hell, just in case it is real? Does the Bible (and Im not talking about the Church, because I'll admit, the Church has done some despicable things in the past, Im talking about the actuall book, The Bible) really ask anything of you thats over the top, or that would actually hurt you? Everything the bible really says could do nothing but improve someones life.

i don't belive in heaven or hell... both are simply ploys to get people to be good all their life and to suffer from the lack in satiating their mortal wants... gloating and not thanking the lord for your new necklace is a sin.... having sex before and after marriage is a sin... its called lust... one of the many mortal sins.... if there is a hell.... i doubt it can be worse than life....

Nelrond Magensie i don't belive in heaven or hell... both are simply ploys to get people to be good all their life and to suffer from the lack in satiating their mortal wants... gloating and not thanking the lord for your new necklace is a sin.... having sex before and after marriage is a sin... its called lust... one of the many mortal sins.... if there is a hell.... i doubt it can be worse than life.... Actually, there is nothing in the Bible that says having sex with your spouse is a sin. Otherwise, what reason would God have had for creating Eve? And you can enjoy having a new necklace, but why in sam hell would you lord something as trivial as that over people anyway?? And what is wrong with people being good??
