I'm so happy some state has finally decided to accept gay marriages/gay people. This is one step to more and more states joining... heart

Anyway, I'm just so glad to see something like this. :]

I'd like to apologize if this thread gets locked-- I didn't know I posted on the front page of the guild, I thought I went to a sub-section. -.-

Darn me.

Umm I don't think there is really a specific sub forum this should go in. I think it's fine where it is.

That is great to hear smile

Don't you mean Iowa?

As a Chicagoan, you got me really excited there for a minute!

Glad to see courts in the USA are still pressing to open up marriage to all couple. Given past events however, it'll probably e a few weeks at most until someone manages to overturn the desission. Poor newlyweds crying Still, at least this shows that folks in America are still pushing for fairer marriage laws.

Oregon just passed a law allowing marrital (Sp? XD) benefits to same-sex marriages :]
All the anti-gay activists were freaking out, and petitioned to have it taken down.
Kekeke, they fell at least 100 signatures short.
Oregon might also pass a law that ban's protests and such that are discriminatory (again, sp? >>;;; ), which is a big slap in the face to them, har har >;D
Go Oregon!

It'll be hard for them to keep any kind of law that bans protests that are discriminatory. Over and over again those kind of laws are upturned. After all, just like we have the right to love who we want, they have the right not to approve. It's America, everyone should be aloud to have a voice. Remember, the KKK always gets to hold it's demonstrations. That law wont last.
