Horatus waited for the students. He came to the training area straight from other business he had to attend to. He waited for the teacher that was going to assist him. I better not see that brat Lengren or that clone of Akakage. Laela I wouldn't mind. No, don't think like that. You are a headmaster and she's a student.

Sasha stood beside her master waiting as well. I hope Laela is in our group.

((Training area isn't a room just to let people know. Its outside separated by halls that lead to the other training areas.))

Prah had flown into the room, with her new wooden katars, and her outfit on. She flew by Horatus, and saw Sasha. She went closer to her, and patted her on the head, then flew over to the corner., and hovered there as she waited.

Hextor walked out into the trainning ground as he studied over his wooden longsword with a sigh as he looked up smiling to the Harpy. "A pleasure to meet you, my name is Hextor. May I have yours?"

She looked down at him. "My name is Prah." She said coldly, as she looked over to where Horatus was standing. Then looked back down at Hextor, and didn't say anything else.

Hextor figured it was the best time to push for anymore questions as he put his wooden sword over his shoulder as he began to whistle softly. He then sits down on the ground leaning over to look up to the harpy. "Are most of your kind generally as tall as you are?" He looked up to the sky with his clear blue eyes not really expecting her to answer but putting it out there for small talk.

"What do yo mean by your kind?" She said coldly towards Hextor.

Horatus was now greeted with the sight of a seven foot harpy who wasn't happy at the moment. Looking at the smaller of the two he found it was a boy who liked to use a long sword. Sighing he waited for the rest to come while keeping an eye on the two just in case if their conversation gets out of hand.

Sasha looked at the harpy. No wonder I smelt fowl in the air.

"The people of your area of the world. Are they all as tall as you?" He was leaning back looking over to her. "You're a Harpy correct? There are many stories about Harpies, but I've never met one myself." He stoud back up turnning around to face her from the front.

((just wondering are my daggers 10 lbs each???))

Dorothy walked into the training area carrying the wooden daggers. This are heavier then my normal ones. She stared at the seal on them. Weight....hmmm....I wonder how heavy they're gonna get.

((Yes they are... biggrin ))

Horatus saw the small girl enter. Hmm... she has a vampire smell to her.

Sasha smelt more than just the vampire but also the fairy scent on Dorothy.

((before you ask, people and races have different scents.))

((WAH! Those have to be the world's heaviest dagger's ever!! Poor Dorothy!))

Dorothy looked over to the headmaster. That's Headmaster Curiat. Her eyes slid down to the wolf, wow, a black wolf. It larger then the wolves I've seen, but it's prettier too.

Prah had looked backed down to Hextor. "Oh, so that is what you meant." She said coldly before contineuing. "They are not as tall as I am, I am the tallest one that is known of." She said when she had heard the stories part. "Stories? What stories have you heard about Harpies?"

"I'm sure most of them are a bit over done. I've heard the stories that sailors tell about harpies. I'm sure they can't all be true." He looked into her eyes with a gentle smile on his face. "We humans tend to fear what we don't understand. I'm sure other peoples tell all kinds of horror stories about human evil. Sad part of that is a lot more of them are true that most wish to believe." He looked over his wooden sword for the seal wondering how much weight he had on it.

Jazen walked up behind hextor, standing beside him so that he could see her. She bowed to the same degree as he had earlier, putting her hands on her hips. She was curious about him. "How did you recognize me?" she asked quietly. Her violet eyes were a rarity among her people, they happened as often as albinos did to the elves. And her skin wouldn't give her away- silver was as like to the elves' white as the drow's black. And she was tall and curvy- something only seen in the rarest of cases. Her thoughts flicked to her whip, with its leaf-like scales and smooth, unique design. And then there were the symbols, proclaiming her to be a princess in the dark elven script. A few knew her by the weapon, if by nothing else.

She responded, on a normal tone," Jazen Na 'Idori." Her last name signified her position in drow culture exactly- 'belonging to no one'; an outcast to the drow. "Your assumption was correct, I teach psychology. Look at me when you talk to me. I adhere to surface customs." She would never regard as a male as inferior, and equals looked each other in the eye.

"You're much too young to going silver haired for an elf. Lucky guess as well." He smiled to her and chuckled lightly. "Thank you, Mistress Jazen. A noble knows when he's around someone else with noble qualities." He turned away so as not to stare and most likely end up not learning anything during his practice. "It's a rare pleasure to be around someone of such skill and beauty such as yours. That and elves don't typically specailize in whips, as far as I know." He looks up to the sky. "Was it hard adjusting to the surface. I don't think I could learn to adjust to living underground without the warmth of the sun."
