My most recent (like a month old)
Russian Roulette

Take your gun,
put a single bullet in.
Going to play some russian roulette tonight.
Don't care if you live or die.
Nothing worth living for anymore.
Pull the safety off.
A moment of hesitation before the shot.
Nothing.
Spin again.
Still nothing.
Spin a third time.
A longer hesitation
Bingo!
The bullet pierces the skin, sinking deep in your brain.
You're dead.

My favorite song that I've written!

Psycho

[verse 1]
I watch the glass break and the picture topple
And I wonder what was going through your head
When you looked over my shoulder and you threw that bottle
And suddenly I feel a sense of dread

[bridge]
It's that look in your eyes
I don't know what you've become
But every time I see that face
I just wanna scream and run, run, run

[chorus]
Psycho...
I don't know what brought it on
Is this what happens when the pressure's on
Psycho...
My sanity gave me the slip
I fell into the fire when I lost my grip

I like it all except for the very last line. It seems too sudden to go with the rest of it...but as I said, nice.

This is not only really weird and random, it's also lacking a title! Looking at this one again several weeks after writing it, I don't like it much any more...but whatever. Tell me what you think.
Note: the premise for this is someone who's multiple-personality, and they're arguing between themselves after killing their lover.

Song:
You're lying there so still and cold
I think I thought you were the one
Now your path is paved in gold
Don't know why I've done what I've done

Your face is white, your lips are blue
I want to turn and run away
You always promised you'd be true
Didn't know you'd die today

[chorus]
Now I must leave
(I have to stay)
I must escape
(Can't get away)
They're coming now
(You were the one)
They'll catch me soon
(What's done is done)

Your scream still echoes in my head
The blood still dripping off the knife
I dreamed one night I woke up dead
I can't believe I took your life

I wake up, I find myself
Holding a knife
I can't understand...
Who took your life?

Can you post possition papers?

There is no way anyone is going to read this... but this is a story I wrote, earlier in the week.

Dearest diary...

I woke up today to find I had spent all night under the cherry tree, in the garden. It must not of been terribly early, because the dew had already dried. I gathered up my petticoat, as it's rather difficult to stand up from the sitting position, without doing such. As I stood I had to shield my eyes from the bright rays of the sun, as it gleamed down and gave each and every blade of grass the lovliest tint of yellow.

Feeling rather adventurous I decided to walk out into the further regions of the garden, today. I'd never been past the maze of shrubberies, as I can never seem to find my way through them. Today, however, I was sure I would accomplish this.

The hedges were so very tall, one could not nearly see over the top. And every here and there you would see a blossom or two, freckling the surface. It was so lovely, it made me smile a bit, just to see them. I took a deep breath in, and let the fragrent scent of the flowers flow through me, then... I stepped into the maze.

Birds could be heard chirping everywhere. It was plain to see that several had made their homes in the walls of the maze. 'how lovely' I thought, to myself. I would so love a room made of hedges and flowers. Wouldn't it be the loveliest thing to wake up to every morning? And it would always have such a wonderful scent. It would never be stuffy at all, I'd suspect.

Just then I heard the most peculiar sound... I could swear it sounded so much like a pig. I couldn't imagine a pig being in this maze... after all... there were no farms nearby. I brushed the idea out of my head and carried on as if it were just my ears playing tricks on me.

'Oh dear'... I found myself at a dead end... I was sure I had gone this way before... and no wall had been here. Yet there it was, plain as day... A large, quite solid wall of green... blocking my way... I was so flustered I couldn't stand it. I stomped my foot and pressed my lips together in the most unladylike pout one had ever set eyes on. That is however if any eyes would have been there, top be set upon it. Which needless to say, they had not.

Just then I heard the sound of a small pig, yet again. Startled I turned toward the sound, that seemed as though it was coming from directly behind me. When I looked, I could clearly see a small, quite plump pig, not 4 feet away. I was so dumbfounded my mouth couldn't help itself but hang open, as if I were some sort of fish. Now I know I've explained this to it before. 'You know' I would start... 'It is terribly impolite of you to hang open, like that. It's just plain bad manners. Why, what if the queen were to see you? Whatever would she say?' It never listens, though. Such an undisciplined mouth, indeed.

Just then the pig started lifting off the ground. I couldn't take my eyes off of it. Was I really seeing this? As I looked closer I noticed two very small, very lacking in feathers... wings, sprouting out from the small pink butterball's very smooth back. They didn't seem strong enough to lift the creature up, even an inch... Yet somehow it was hovering, right at face level. It was staring right at me with a quite puzzled look upon it's face. I thought this to be very odd indeed. After all, little girls are far from abnormal to see walking about... but a flying pig... that seems terribly bizarre to me.

Just then it snorted and flew off over the wall. I was just about to call out to it as I felt myself start to fall. The ground beneath me had completely dissappeared! It was as if there was some invisible trap door under me, and it had just now realized I had been standing on it.

I was falling so very far, looking up I could see the day light fading. 'Oh my! I shall never manage to climb back up again!' I said aloud. As the light above me became but a speck, and eventually disappeared, I looked downward. I was sure that once I hit the bottom that I would surely die. After all, you can only fall so far without causing great harm to yourself. However, to my surprize I did not see a ground below me... instead, I saw a sky... It was as if I had fallen through the center of the Earth and was coming out the other side, quite upside down.

As I continued to fall, I noticed that I was completely surrounded by the sky. Was I even falling at all, anymore? Perhaps I had stopped, but had been completely unaware of it. Just as I was about to test that theory I began to fall upward... or perhaps it was downward... Either way my head was going toward something at a rather high speed. I was falling so fast that I could barely make out whether the birds I pass were upside down or right side up... Not that it would of mattered, as I couldn't tell one from the other.

I came upon a sudden stop, just as I was starting to feel rather ill from all these thoughts of upside down and right side up. I had not actually fallen onto anything, rather I was hovering above the ground... head downward. Was I stuck? Perhaps time had stopped just before I reached the ground. Puzzled, I looked about to see if anything else was moving about. I could see a rabbit... it seemed to be hopping quite easily around a small flowered bush. I called to it, but it seemed fairly uninterested in me.

I decided to attempt to turn myself around... Reaching my hands above my head (Or below, depending on how you look at it), and touched the ground, with them. I then wiggled my legs about, until they were positioned, feet on the ground. I then balanced myself and stood upward, on my feet, arms stretched outward at my sides. To my dismay, this did not help. Shockingly, my skirt flew straight up, revealing my frilly pantaloons that were previously hidden beneath my petticoat. 'Oh my!, this just will not do!' I said, distressed. 'I shall have no choice but to walk on my hands, I fear.' And just so, I reached down and positioned myself again. This time with my hands upon the ground, and my legs up in the air. 'I suppose that the gravity for me is different, because I am used to being on the other side of the world.' This seemed to make perfect sense to me, at the time.

As I walked about, on my hands, I found a stone path. 'Surely this will lead somewhere...' I started down it, curious as to where it would lead me.

After much walking (If you can call it that), I came upon a small house. Not small as in a cottage... more so like a gingerbread house. The kind you would make out of gingerbread and candies, and eat for dessert, after Christmas supper. I attempted to lie myself down on the ground, so I could more easily peer into the small windows of the wee house. Unfortunately my skirt, once again seemed to defy the gravity set to this side of the world. No one seemed to be around, so I tried to pay it no mind.

I peered closely into the little home. I could see that it was fully furnished. I could tell, right away, that this was the home of a very wealthy... er... small person. 'Perhaps it belongs to the king of the gnomes' I thought to myself, almost giddy with excitement. Thoughts of who it could belong to ran rampant through my head. I was thinking so hard, in fact, that I did not notice the small voice calling to me. 'You there!' It called out... Clearly it was not fond of being looked over, as it began to yell very loud and punching my side.

I giggled furiously as I felt the tickles on my side. 'Oh dear!' I was startled to find that a small doll like creature was attempting to abuse my rather large hip. 'You there, I demand to know what you are doing up there!' It called to me in a quite demanding tone. 'I... I'm not quite sure, myself' I said back, as I got closer to the small figure, for better examination. 'I demand you stop being so large, immediately! You are clearly breaking the law!' 'The law?!' I inquired, puzzled. I used one of my index fingers to touch the small creature. I felt it's lovely little dress, which was made of a beautiful white and red velvet, and draped with very tiny pearls. 'Stop that, at once! Just who do you think you are! You-... You should be sentenced to death, for touching the queen! You disgust me!' I withdrew my finger, quite taken back by the creature's statement. 'Now see here, I'm terribly sorry, I did not know you were a queen. Though I think you're being a bit irrational with your-' I was quickly interrupted by the sound of something coming toward me. I glanced around to see that I was quite surrounded by hundreds of tiny little soldiers. This situation was beginning to become quite stressful.

I soon found myself tied up and bound to a tree, gagged of course, as the queen did not care to hear me speak. As I sat there, rather uncomfortable I was lectured on the rules of the world, by the queen, herself. Though I'm sure it was a great honor to be spoken to, by the queen, I found myself rather bored.

Suddenly I heard the sound of screaming. Several of the tiny men were rushing about in a frenzy. 'Whatever could it be?' I thought to myself. Looking about I noticed a cat had wandered onto the scene. Though, like the rabbit, the cat seemed quite the average size. This was of course, not good for the tiny people, who were now running in fear for their lives. Even the queen herself could be seen running in random directions, bumping into the soldiers. It was actually very amusing to see them all scattering about, as if they'd no real destination.

The cat helped himself to a few of the soldiers... A very gruesome fate indeed. I found myself actually feeling bad for the poor little things. After all, I'm sure I wouldn't like to be eaten by a giant cat.

After a few servings of soldiers, and the remaining persons had managed to escape, the cat then approached me. I almost started to worry, thinking that he may attempt to devour me, as well. The cat then stood upright on it's hind legs, as if it believed itself to be a human. It walked toward me in a wobbly sort of manner and untied my bindings. I reached behind my hair, untied my gag and thanked the peculiar cat for saving me. The cat smiled, or at least it seemed to. It's actually rather difficult to tell with cats, you know. He then turned and pointed towards a hill that I hadn't noticed before. 'O'er that hill, lass... that be where ye be needin' to go.' I was so startled by his accent that I had completely forgotten that normal cats do not speak. Though I suppose if they did speak, they might have an accent. I nodded, somewhat timidly and curtsied to him. This was actually quite difficult, seeing as my skirt was standing straight up.

I then began my journey toward the hill, bunching my skirt around me and holding it in the front, so as to try to keep it from lifting itself. The hill wasn't actually very far. It took no more than 6 minutes before I mad my way to the very top. As I approached the top, I looked about me. All I saw were trees and flowers, and of course the occasional small animal. ‘Why did the cat tell me to come here?’ I rested my index finger upon my chin as I pondered what it was I was supposed to do, now that I had arrived at the hill. As I shuffled about I noticed my foot bumping something, ever so slightly. I glanced down to see a small red book. The tip of a quill poked out from between some pages, and a small bottle of ink was resting near it. 'What's this?' I thought to myself, as I kneeled down. I sat upon a lump of grass, and made myself comfortable. Well, as comfortable as I could, seeing as the ruffles at the ends of my skirt kept tickling my nose. I reached down and picked the book up. I opened it to where the quill was. There was nothing written on it. It was completely blank. I tilted my head, ever so slightly and gave the book a rather dumbfounded stare. When suddenly a word began to appear on the page... 'Write' It said, in large bold lettering. 'Write?' I said aloud... as I watched the words fade back off the page, leaving it blank, yet again. I continued to stare at the blank page... 'Write' it said again... fading in, and then back out once more. 'But whatever shall I write about?' Then it dawned on me. How could I even ask what to write about, after such a terribly odd and eventful day? I then uncapped
the ink bottle, and dipped the quill in, softly. I hovered the quill above the page and began to write...

Dearest diary...

I woke up today to find I had spent all night under the cherry tree, in the garden.

This thread isn't too popular, is it? Oh well, there are a few of us...*shrugs* Time for another song post, I guess! This one was originally called Dirty Cheater, but I've since decided I don't like that name. So now it's untitled.

Madder than I've ever been before
Worse than I've ever felt in my life
I wanna kick you out the door
Wish that you would die
Can't believe you'd do this to me
Never had such a nasty goodbye
Lower than I ever thought you could be
How dare you tell me such a lie

[chorus]
Lost my cool
Went through the roof
Lost my cool
Blew it all over you

Why ever did you stay with me
When you had someone else
You're nothing more than a handsome creep
If only you could see yourself (for what you are)
This may be a first time
But I know it won't be a last
If I ever get you on the line
You'd better run real fast
