Hmm, from the top of my head:
- Marle (Chrono Trigger)
- Tifa Lockhart (FF7)
- Shinguji Sakura (Sakura Taisen)
- Fran (FFXII)
- Celes Chere (FFVI)
- Riesz (Seiken Densetsu 3)
- Arche (Tales of Phantasia)
- Tear (Tales of the Abyss)
- Chris Lightfellow (Suikoden 3)
I had observed that I have the tendency to like female characters who are able to handle their own in battle and do not depend on men to do all the work while they stand by somewhere. Most of them are also pretty kind, sweet, and caring. In some cases, I find that a combination of cheerfulness and stubbornness (Marle and Arche) works for me, because I find them adorable that way.

Lyude - Baten Kaitos
Sheena - Tales of Symphonia
Soren - Fire Emblem: PoR
Fran - Final Fantasy XII
Of course, that's not all of them, but still. I'd have a favorite down for FF7, but I like 99% of them the same.

Lieutenant Stephen Cartwright from Resistance: Fall of Man. He's handsome and actually helps you during the game. And you gotta love his sarcasm. whee
And Sergeant Nathan Hale (the character you play, from the same game as Cartwright) is pretty awesome also. whee
And I also like the Prince from Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Not so much the other games -- they corrupted him. cry I loved his sarcasm and his accent. It was catchy. 3nodding

I love Vincent Valentine from FFVII because he is sexy and mysterious.
I also like Dante from the Devil may Cry games because he is just very hot.

My favorite chracter from any other game i've ever played is
The Master Chief Petty Officer SPARTAN John-117 or simply the
master chief from the halo series.
