Tommy sat at his deck looking over the files for all of the cadets that had joined since the opening over a months ago. Most hadn’t arrived yet but, then again, a lot of them where arriving from all around the universe.

A great number were coming from Earth even though the Space Station was nowhere near Earth. He turned his gaze to the sprawling viewport at the purple and orange nebula beyond, this part of the universe was new to him, and he still felt a little home sick.

A buzzing noise brought him out of his thought. “Come in.” He called out pushing a button on his desk. He then looked up at the door set into the far wall. Within a few minutes, the door slid open.

Catherine came walking into the room out of breath. "Admiral sir, i was hoping to talk with you about the exerice I'll be in a few hours from now. I would like to know if in stead of maybe having a Titanium or a Gold, could you added my friend Marlon who is in the same division as me. You see his as this odd ablitiy, and I'm the only one that understand him.." Catherine replied looking at the man sitting at the desk.

Tommy had raisen his hand about half way into her speech. "I'm aware of this cadet. and have already made it so that you too will be having the some exerice. I've already read both yours and cadet Dunn's files. Commander Fernandez has already been told about this."

Catherine stood there opened mouthed for a moment, then nodded her reply. "Thank you very much sir." She bowed before asking if she was dismissed. When he gave the ok, she walked slowly out of the room and back to pink barracks.

An e-mail had been sent to the admiral's computer:

To: Commander Tideus, Yellow Division Commander; Admiral Thomas Oliver, Admiral of Ranger Academy

From: Aztec of Mirinoi, Cadet Yellow Ranger

Subject: Report on Simulated Rescue and Battle Mission

First of all I apologize for not delivering this in person but doctor's orders indicated that I remain off my feet for a day or two. That being said here is my report on our simulated mission.

I arrived early and found that I was the first to arrive so I was able to get first impressions of the other cadets as they arrived. Johnny, Clark Duncan, and Raden arrived soon after. But all of the other cadets were late for the mission briefing.

During the briefing, I noticed that Chase Andrews, our Red Ranger for this mission, seemed to lack the confidence and leadership skills one would expect in a Red Ranger. He also ignored the advice of his subordinates, Sky and Kris Shumaker when they informed him that they make a good team. Instead he deliberately assigned them to seperate teams which started an argument that a few other cadets got into. However Fenrir Lokison attempted to break it up and get the group together. He seemed to be a better leader than Chase. However Kris still had a very antagonistic attitude.

After that I was assigned to the combat team along with Chase, Kris, John, Angelina, and Clark and therefore would not be a good person to evaluate those on the rescue team. Instead of obeying Chase's orders, Clark deliberately went on ahead of the group and tried to take on the enemy (a foolish and potentially fatal move in my opinion) forcing the remainer of the group to rush on in as well. After Clark defeated one monster he located two others for the rest of the team. I moved first but waited for at least one other cadet to be there before I made my move. I'll admit it may have been foolish to try to grab the attention of the enemy singlehandedly as well, but I was confident in my abilities and teammates to back me up. Angelina provided me with assistance and together we defeated another monster. Then we went to the second monster which Chase had tried to take on, but was heavily injured in the attempt so Johnny had to back him up. Angelina and I provided a distraction and cover fire to back up our fellow cadets and all four of us were able to destroy it.

Kris had not acted in any way during this entire battle and then had believed she could order the other cadets around and even openly admitted to not respecting the chain of command. Clark also attempted to take charge, then the cadets took care of the burning building. Unfortunately I didn't react fast enough to assist them and I take full responsibility for that.

After that part of the simulation ended, we ended up in a heated battle against a simulation of Thrax, a very difficult battle that tested all of us to our limits. I found the only way to do anything effective against him was to put oneself at extreme risk and be willing to take as much damage as you were hoping to do against him. Specifically I instructed my allies to fire at my discarded blaster and hope the explosion would defeat Thrax. But instead it mearly injured and disarmed him and demorphed me as well as causing a sprained ankle, making me almost completely incapacitated. However I'll admit that Kris had lent me assistance by giving me an extra weapon and instructed everyone to fire at Thrax at once. Also Crystle and Johnny had successfully destroyed Thrax's staff, hindering him greatly. Thrax's counterattack was strong and Chase had to put up a barrier to protect everyone. Unfortunately Angelina and I were injured from teh explosion so we were slower in getting to Chase's barrier while Fenrir copied my tactic of using a blaster as a bomb, this time triggered by Sky's lightning abilities. THis didn't kill him but it stopped his big attack on us. Then after some more blaster fire, Kris decided to overload her fire abilities and try to take Thrax down in a self-destructing attack and Johnny used Thrax's broken staff to finally kill him. That is when the simulation ended with myslef and a few others injured. It turns out that Thrax was not meant to be the final boss of the simulation, it was supposed to be Goldar, a much easier opponent to defeat. It seems that for our first simulation, we did well considering we were up against one of the toughest enemies in the galaxy.

So my final analysis is that out of the teammates I saw in action, Angelina, Fenrir, Raden, Crystle, Johnny, and Sky did the best jobs out of all of us.

An Email forwarded to the Admirals office by commander Ortiz

To: Commander Rosa Ortiz, Pink Division Commander; Admiral Thomas Oliver; Admiral of Ranger Academy

From Crystle Karsnock; Cadet Pink Ranger

Subject: Report on Simulated Rescue and Battle Mission

I was one of the last cadets to arrive at the training dome for my simulated mission. I apologize for being late. The Academy is a lot bigger than I thought it was at first, and I got a little lost.

During the briefing, I noticed that Chase, our Red Ranger for this simulation, seemed to lack the confidence and leadership abilities that one would expect in a Red Ranger. When he was given advice from a few of his subordinates, mainly Cadet Sky, and Cadet Kris Shumaker on which team the pair should be on. Instead he deliberately assigned them to separate teams which started an argument that a few other cadets got into. Which seemed a good idea to me, Kris seems to be self-centered and controlling. Later when Chase gave leadership of the rescue team to, Fenrir Lokison our Green Ranger. This only pushed Kris over the edge.

After that I was assigned to the rescue team along with Fenrir, Sky, Raden, Chris, and Johnny. For what I could still see Clark our Crimson Ranger disobeyed Chase’s orders, he deliberately went on ahead of the combat team and tried to take on a monster all by himself(a foolish and potentially fatal move in my opinion) forcing the remainder of the group to rush on in as well. After Clark defeated one monster he located two others for the rest of the team.

Fenrir again split the six of us up. He made Sky the leader of well that’s just call it Beta team, which myself and Raden where a member of. The three of us took a right while Fenrir and his team what left. After awhile Sky heard voice coming from a building up ahead.

He had asked fine any of us know if we could summon any Zord to help us get to the people at the top. Which we all learned that the simulation systems hadn’t been equipped with Zord summoning at the time. Sky was being a hard a**, had what on ahead leaving me and Raden to chase after him.

Once the two of us where in the building we couldn’t find Sky anyway, stupid air head couldn’t wait for the rest of us, were are a team. Anyway the two of us split up once again to find the remaining ten people that were trapped somewhere within the building. At the time the two of us believed that Sky had gone to the top several floors, so we split the remaining between us. I told the lobby and the first three floor while Raden took the forth to the seventh.

I wasn’t appeal to find anyone on my floors so I left the building to find Raden, Fenrir, and Kris standing around several people. I think there was six, when I got to where the other stood. Kris ordered that me and Raden stay behind while she and Fenrir go and help Sky. Which did not set right with me, Chase had made Fenrir the leader of rescue team not her.

The two of them left us behind again, while they run back to the building. It seems that time was moving slowly when Raden pointed out how weak the building seem to have become. I had turn to look at Raden for a moment to see that he had become sick, which I will not go into detail.

When I turned back to look at the building I see that it had started to fall, at about the same time, Chase and Johnny appeared. Chase took one look at us, and then run for the building. Crazy man I swear, it seemed to take forever for the building to collapse fully. Once the smoke and dust had cleared Fenrir, Sky and Kris along with several people come walking out of the remains of the building.

The five of us soon began to dig throw the rubble for any sign of Chase, once he was located Kris used some ability to remove the rest of the rubble from around him. Once the rubble was clear of Chase, I would have thought the exercise was finished. But the city and all that was within it disappeared leave us cadets to stand in a black room.

When the lights come back on, we got a shock. Standing in the center of the training dome with Thrax the son of Rita and Lord Zedd, which I’m sure you know this, but anyway. Aztec found the only way to do anything effective against him was to put himself at extreme risk and willing to take as much damage as we were hoping to do against Thrax. Specifically Aztec instructed the rest of us to fire at his discarded blaster and hope the explosion would defeat Thrax. But instead it nearly injured and disarmed him and demorphed Aztec himself. However I'll admit that Kris had lent me assistance by giving me an extra weapon and instructed everyone to fire at Thrax at once. Johnny and myself had successfully destroyed Thrax's staff, weakling him greatly. Thrax's counterattack was strong and Chase had to put up a barrier to protect everyone. Unfortunately Angelina and Aztec were injured from the explosion so they were slower in getting to Chase's barrier while Fenrir copied Aztec tactic of using a blaster as a bomb, this time triggered by Sky's lightning abilities. This didn't kill him but it stopped his big attack on us. From: Madira Shatiris of Earth, Cadet Silver Ranger

Subject: Report on Simulated Rescue and Battle Mission

This was the dumbest Mission I have ever been on, simulated, real or pretend. It was just everyone show up, take orders from the guy in red and then complete the orders. How could I know that I could trust the guy? There was no let's all get to know one another meeting. There was no, these are my strengths meeting beforehand. It was just get into the thick of it.

I blame the commanders and the Admiral. I really knew nothing about Karn when the two of us arrived. I tried, but he was so hard to get to know personally. I knew nothing about Trent and tried to get to know him. What is there some code that the Commanders have about keeping their past a secret that I don't know about. He was almost as tight lipped as Karn.

Again I re-itterate, where was the sit down. Was the Black guy second in command, or was it the blue guy. And why were there two pink rangers on our team. I could have used someone telling me the reasons and the whys. I don't care if there is a reason why we shouldn't do it, we really should have.

So my final analysis is that we should have really gotten to know each other before going into battle. The originals had a chance why didn't we.

Rio walks into the office not noticing what is going on, and starts to speak to the Admiral.
"Admiral Thomas, I would like to go to the training dome with my friend Maku-Kun. Would this be allowed?
PostPosted: Mon Oct 15, 2007 7:27 pm

Tommy looked up from the reports he had been reading. "First off Thomas is my first name.. a title always goes with the last. The two of you just arrived on the Galaxy ship haven't you." Tommy replied looking at him for a moment.

(Since the two of you just joined in the Galaxy will be the ship name you arrived on ok.)

"It's aright cadet. The two of you missed this months exerices, and the next are going to start until next month." Tommy replied looking over at the other cadet. "May i ask way you the two of you wish to use the training dome, and not just go to the cadet gym?"
PostPosted: Mon Oct 15, 2007 7:44 pm

"We both have a skill that would put in danger the rest of the people around if we fought, so I figured it would be best to go there."

Rio knew his power and Maku's, so he didn't want to risk anything.

"Well I wanted to use it because I'd already seen thae gym and he is gonna show me around on the way there." Maku said suddenly speaking
PostPosted: Mon Oct 15, 2007 7:51 pm

"Hmm, alright. There is a bit of a bug in the system at the moment, but i'm sure we can allow the two of you to use the dome for a bit. One of you will have to go and tell Skull who should be in the control room in the training dome.. There's a stairwall next to domes doors." Tommy replied looking in his desk for a moment before pulling out a disk.

"Give this to him, and tell him want you wish to fight. You'll only have an hour to work out. Alright, we still need to finish repairing the system."
