So obviously in order for slow, shambling zombies to actually be a huge threat there must be rare set of circumstances, mostly coincidence if without human help. So, put yourself in the boots of a mad scientist/terrorist leader/other stuff in order to think of the best way you would spread the zombie infection.

In the scenario you start with one sample of the virus, within a small syringe. You have 5 followers willing to follow your every command, 3 million dollars and your own jet. How would you cause the spread?

I would assume the vial could be split, as very little is required to begin infection. If not, i would kidnap, infect, and contain a hobo to provide sufficient amounts.

I would give a bit to each follower, send some of them to attempt to infect the homeless and drug abusers in highly populated cities first, as it would be easier, the general populace would be less likely to notice or care, and these populations are expected to act insane. I think that this could mask the true origin of symptoms for long enough that it could spread quickly, especially among the dirty needle using druggies. Perhaps that could be the method of infection, sharing free drugs in dirty needles with a smallish group of druggies. Easy as pie to get it into them. Though, with those, the law is likely to be more careful since they are already well known for carrying blood-borne illness. This would be best for a slower incubation time.

The rest might be good to send to a crowded squishy place that takes a while to escape. Maybe a subway at rush hour. That would be perfect. It is really crowded, loud, people are already pushing and shoving each other; then, they are sealed in little boxes and sent to different parts of the city. If it were done there, it would take a bit longer to notice(due to the ambient noise and shoving), harder to escape(due to the crowdedness) and easier to spread across a large area in a short period of time. This would be best for a fast incubation time.

I think it would be good to focus on a single continent. China might be good. But America is what I am familiar with. It would be very important to be familiar with those I was planning to infect first.

I would want to spread it over a large enough area that it couldn't be wiped out with a bomb by a world leader in a moment of panic, but with enough concentration to have an assured infection spread in a given area.

Have you read Oryx and Crake? His method was unparalleled in its efficiency. Of course, he wasn't working with a pre-existing virus. He made his himself to be so very perfect.

It can be caused on Accident like in my Dream, Scientists were trying to find Cure for an Epidemic.... and the Cure Scientists made mixed with the Virus, and it created Zombies, Full details later, i dont feel good...

I'd split the Virus into 10 syringes,give 2 each to 3 of my followers so have 2 followers left and 4 syringes.The 3 would go out to a highly populated area,say a subway or rush hour trainstation(all in different parts of the city)The followers could each have $500,0000 to get into any places they need to.Me and my other 2 followers would be waiting to watch all the remaining population go to secure areas so the zombies(Maybe about level 3 infestation now)then i would send my other 2 followers into the most highly populated remaining survival bases to infect the people there.if any of my follwoers got back i would steal a zombie,kill him then take his blood and then put it in the syringes then with my remaining followers i would keep sending them to the remaining places.Repeat if needed to.

This is very simple.

First, I use the 3 Million to build myself a raised house, only accessible by vertical ladders ((Which can be pulled up for complete inaccessibility)). I'd buy Solar Panels for electricity, and 100 square foot deck for growing food. I'd buy 4 roosters, 8 hens. There's my eggs and meat. I'd get my closest friend, and tell her the location, and make sure she's there before I start my plan.

My plan to spread the virus is very simple. Inject the virus into one of the followers. Keep them all chained down, with their arms against the other persons mouth. Once one of them turns, the one next to him will get infected. I put the one infected, but not turned, on a bus across the country. I can assure you that bus will be full of zombies by the time it reaches it's destination.

The next infected, but not turned, I would put into a college somewhere, and have everyone there be bitten and infected. The hospitals will fill up with "Bite Wounds", followed by "Hysteria". The infected will multiply inside the hospital, and most likely get outside the walls before the Government knows what is going on.

The next infected, but not turned, I would shove into the middle of San Francisco. Huge place, many many people. People get curious. They'll go up and check on him, they'll get bitten. Simple as that.

The last infected, but not turned, I would put into an underground transit system. Same theory as the bus. Everyone will become a zombie that was bitten on the sub-way.

The final infected, which was the original zombie. ((I'd name in Generation Zero)) I'd put a bullet in it's brain. I'm not risking getting infected.

the first and most important thing is creating a lab which is secure and able to contain a limited number of infected. I would infect one of my 5 followers in order to have a source from which i can harvest more infected tissue and synthesize the virus. The next step might take years but I would involve myself in the drug trade in Europe, North America and Asia. assuming I am not killed over the next several years i will have reconstituted my funds and will now have some control over the flow of drugs throughout the world. at this point it is as simple as contaminating the drugs with the virus and distributing these contaminated drugs to major cities. given some time the disease should catch and serious problems will emerge for world leaders. At this point the other 4 minions will be critical. I set up 3 of these minions as myself in each of the counties where i have a presence and have them contact the government. telling them that "I have a vaccine you must meet my demands." the point isn't to actually extort anything from the governments but rather to stall and misdirect the governments into action against these dummy leaders. and when inevitably the governments act against these dummy leaders they will kill themselves then I will have done 2 things. I will have rendered my self dead to the world and therefore safe from further retaliation and I will further delay meaningful actions by governments while they search my empire for the vaccine that doesn't actually exist. muhahahahahah
