Was anyone else disapointed in Eclipse? I was......and not just because of Jacob/Bella relationship. I felt that the action scenes really stunk (Victoria was boring, not very exciting and the Volturi didn't do anything? Does anyone else feel the same way? question

Steel Corpses Water-Earth_Minx I was I thought the main plot of this book was how bella change in to a vanpire not her wedding! gonk I agree with you! In Twilight I thought Edward bit her in the ending, but In New Moon She was perfectly human!And so I was expecting her to be bitten in Eclipse! gonk I thought that Edward was so gonna bite her this time! cry xp growl........

I'm sorry, but this book really killed my love for the books. I was already walking on thin ice while reading new moon, but this just shattered it. There was zip action that was actually exciting. SPOILER Bella basically two-timing Edward right in front of his face SPOILER OVER and him and Jacob not even caring. How unrealistic could a relationship be? And on top of that, her personality reaching an all time low in my opinion as she's so agitatingly whiny and dumb. Stephanie, please refrain from writing anymore books until you've had an inspiring dream like you did with Twilight. Please.

guys of coarse she was not going to get bit in this one, that would kinda undermined the next book doncha think! She will be bitten in Breaking Dawn and there will be more books after that(i think confused )so chillax

this book was a total and complete let down...
idk if i even want to read breaking dawn... but i know i'll force myself to read it...
anyway... if bella doesnt get bitten in breaking dawn then there seriously was no point in writing this...
i mean whats she gonna do? change her mind at last minute and turn to jacob? i swear i'll burn the books then...
*not a big jacob/bella fan*
and i mean come on!!!
breaking dawn is the last book!!!
then we have midnight sun which is twilight in edwards pov...
so i'm just hoping and praying that breaking dawn is SO much better than eclipse....

I basically agree that nothing happened in Eclipse...much like the book Masquerade (Second book in the Blue Bloods Series), Eclipse only as a filler between New Moon and Breaking Dawn. Therefore it is filled with cliche situations and a dissatisfying ending. The whole ordeal that Bella doesn't want to marry Edward made her seem like a whiney brat...which is not how she is portrayed in the first two books. Basically, although Stephanie Meyer had a pretty unique story line in the beginning, it's beginning to dull out a little. All she did in this book was strain the relationship between Bella and Jacob (and even Edward). Personally, she made Bella seem like a two-timer...and I keep wondering why Edward would still even love her when she keeps coming up with second-thought situations....two destiny's with two different people? Yes, of course she picks one in the end but by that time, I've completely lost faith in her. Two words for Stephanie Meyer on Breaking Dawn: Amaze me.

i loved it!
i loved them all!
i even got my eclipse book signed by stephanie =D
it did start out slow at first
but it was as good as all of 'em
i don't have a favorite
i like 'em all
and i don't care what anybody says but i love jacob black!
he's too adorable mrgreen
