Welcome to the Official Guild for the Durem Elite Forces. There aren't many rules, but there are a couple, so please read them, along with the DEF Statement, seen below.
In life, there are moments of truth. And in those moments, the question is always the same. "Am I Ready?" The Durem Elite Forces Soldiers are ALWAYS ready. Every DEF soldier is a leader. We're taught to act decisively, and make decisions in the midst of chaos. They come from small towns and big cities to prove they belong in this proud family. When discipline is present, it is evident. It is the precise control of every aspect of one's self, mental and physical. It is the bedrock of success. The brave have always defined what the rest of us wish to be. But bravery is misunderstood. It is not the absence of fear, but the will to overcome it. Everyone gets knocked down, but the tough get up. DEF knows victory comes not from being the strongest or fastest, but from the refusal to fail. These are a fortunate few who enjoy a loyalty so great the years cannot wash it away. Place and time have no bearing on this great bond. To think of ourselves first is human nature, but to put others first is the nature of a DEF SOLDIER. Strength is more than muscle. DEF soldiers believe it is possible to overcome any obstacle, becoming powerful in mind, body, and spirit. A powerful mind is the best weapon a DEF soldier can possess. "Semper Fi" It means always faithful. Faithful to our nation, to each other, to the cause we serve. We are the marines of Durem, the special Elite Forces, the people chosen to get the job done.
Rules
• YOUR COMMANDING OFFICERS WORDS ARE LAW. No disrespecting either myself, Petty Officer Paradise, Petty Officer Seirith, Petty Officer xMylox, or Petty Officer TrapperMitch. You will be dismissed if you disobey, or disrespect any of these fine officers.
• YOU MUST KEEP YOUR DUREM UNIFORM. If you are seen in a battle situation without your Durem uniform, you will be dismissed. You do not have to wear it all the time, just when a battle situation requires us.
• ABSOLUTELY NO BASHING of DUREM. I don't care if you think I am a narrow-minded, un-political, Jarhead. These headquarters are for TRUE DUREM ELITE FORCES soldiers. Anyone who questions Durem, our forces, or our honourable soldiers, doesn't belong here.
