Yes, I know you're mad a me Phe, but I promise, there's a good reason!
*sigh* Yes, I am fully aware that I'll be stabbed in the leg by a fork (or worse), and I probably deserve it too. But to everyone: I will try to get on more often, even if I can't Skype right now. The only available internet for me at home right now is one that costs a lot and has a limit to much I'm allowed to surf every month (which is a total ripoff and sucks). Well, that and the uni, which I can't use too much, especially since I need to study hard if I'm going to succeed as a teacher. Hey, anyone want to hear about the stressfull weeek I've had so far?

Okay, pour the angst on us. xD I'll be sure to return the favor when you're finally able to get on Skype again.
Yeah, I've heard that trying to get internet access while on a college campus is a b***h. Dx What with all of the studying, then everyone tries to get on at the same time, or something like that.
Nope, sorry, I don't have any forks/spoons/sporks/knives/whisks to stab you with. xD I'm using them to bake and eat chocolate cake. Mmmm...
Oh, and I watched Shaun of the Dead. I'm been on edge for at least a week now. xD Everytime something startles me I get an urge to scream "ZOMBIE!" and hit it until it stops moving. That movie terrified me. ; 3; No more zombeh for meh, I'm back to attempting to be a ninja (so... close... to the ninja band!).

Well, first they woke me up at 8.30 monday morning, telling me I had to show up at the registration to advertise the cafeterias at the uni (for which I am responsible for one). They had told me I had to be there on tuesday, but they forgot to say that I had to be there on monday too.
Then on tuesday, I had to wake up early to go back to the registration, then I had class and studying, before I had to instruct the new guy we hired how to close things up. In addition, I had 120 pages of mind-numbing (but interesting) stuff to read and learn.
The wednesday wasn't so bad though. Even thought I had to wake up early (giving me another night of too little sleep), I talked to a girl who went to the same school as me and just started here at this uni. When I tried to get her to work at the cafeteria, I accitedentally got a date with her on the friday. Score! Then on that evening, me and the other new teacher students watched Napoleon Dynamite and played some games. I came in second in the Twister tournament, after a final that lasted for 15 minutes ("I did not know my body could bend that way...")
Thursday, I studied. Well, that's about it. It was hard work, and I probably drank too much coffee for my own good, but meh. Dosen't sound too bad like this. Oh, and I also got to know that I won't get any money at all to live for until October, and that is if I'm lucky enough to get any at all. So now I don't know how to pay my rent, and I had to sell my Wii to afford food this month. Yes, that did put a certain dullness to my mood for the rest of the week.
Then there was friday. Well, first I came late for class. I did however time it perfectly, so that I came in at the exact moment when I was needed. We were supposed to do interviews and then make a short presentation of the person we were working with, and at the same moment as my partner was going to start talking, I stormed in trough the door. I'm just that awesome. Then there was the date with the girl I was talking about, which went great. We decided to go to the movies on sunday (today). In the evening, me and some of my friends got together and played Ice Climbers (among other things).
Saturday was another stessfull day. First, I had to be downtown at 10:45, which is approximatley 45 minutes walk from where I live. I got 15 minutes late (though it didn't matter much). Then we had to get our station ready for later on when some of the newcomers at the uni would get there. At 20, however, I had to be at another spot, about 15 walk from where that was, since I'm a newcomer to the teacher program. So I spent a couple of hours chasing beavers, tigers, trying to pick up store clerks, playing Guitar Hero 2 and Dance Dance Revolution, and lots of other stuff, before returning to the others again. I was then attacked by a girl about half as tall as me who tried to strangle me (long story). I now have a deep gash actoss my left shoulder blade, and my favourite t-shirt is forever ruined, so I bought a new one. In the evening, we had a theme-party, where the theme was Drag-Space. I went as "Darth Vadde" (Vadde beeing my nickname, and me having both a plastic toy-sword and a shabby, black cloak, I couldn't resist the temptation). During that party, my parents called and told me they might come and visit me tomorrow (today). I tried, but failed, at getting drunk after those news.
Well, here I am, trying to figure out of it's worth it to try to clean up my apartment. At least I have a date tonight, that's probably the only bright spot for me at the moment.
Shaun of the Dead is hilarious! xd I loved that movie, it was like one of the best ever.

I'm sorry. D: That sounds like it really sucks. All week long, huh? That's horrible! And I'm glad you found someone, and you never told me what happened with that one girl. xD
I don't really have anything else to say about that long rant, except... Why on earth did a girl try and strangle you? I have to know! That's not something that happens everyday.
Shaun of the Dead has been, in my mind, separated into that category of movies that I found absolutely hilarious but absolutely horrifying at the same time. The only other movie currently in there is Scary Movie 3. xD Did you see Hot Fuzz? It was HILARIOUS. The other day I saw a living statue, and that's the first thing I thought of.
By the way... How would you feel about joining a guild Liz and I created? It's not set up yet, but when it is I can send you an invite. xD

I suppose I should tell you what happened with the other one first then. xd
Well, after we got together, she started to expect that I'd drop anything I was doing the moment she called. I remember once when we were chatting, and I just went away for a moment to get a snack since I was hungry, and she got upset, saying that I was always leaving her alone and stuff like that. I couldn't even be ironic around her without causing a fit of some kind. She also made a sport out of physically and mentally abusing me. Well, I put up with it for a few months, since she's had a rough life and quite frankly, I felt sorry for her. A friend of mine had just broken up with her girlfriend and was feeling a bit down, so we talked, and she gave me the advice (not knowing the situation) that if I was in a relationship where we hurt each other, then it probably was for the best if we weren't together. It still took me another month or so before I finally told her "If you're going to keep on beeing like this, then there's no way that I want a relationship with you." The following day, she said she never wanted to talk to me again, and we haven't spoken since, which is fine with me. I know I'm a great guy, and I know I deserve better.
Well, then there's the girl that I wrote something about when I first joined the guild. Well, she and I are just friend. During the summer I told her that I liked her as a little more than just a friend, though I already knew that she didn't feel the same. After she had confirmed it, we went on as usual, in other words as friends. No problems there.
And the one I'm seeing now, is, as I already told you, someone who I've met before (but didn't really get to know to well, though I know her well enough to know that she's a really nice person). First there was the "accidental" (sounds like wrong word when it's something good) lunch date that we had last friday, when we got to know each other better. We didn't really do too much, but it was fun talking to her. Then there was the date we had last night, when we went and saw "Fracture". It was a really great movie, and afterwards I walked her home (it wasn't much of a detour for me anyway). She paid the tickets for us, and I pad the snacks. Since I had paid for her luch during the friday, I guess that makes us even? Anyway, that wasn't important. Before we said good night, I got a kiss (well, it was more of a peck I suppose, but yeah), and for the following one or two seconds we looked at each other like "Huh, I guess this means we're a couple now?". Her sister is coming to visit her during the weekend, so she'll be busy around then, but we've agreed to see each other again either during this week, or during next.
I think there was another thing I forgot to mention in my report of what happened during the week. Due to a load of crap that has happened since the conservative parties got the power in Sweden, I won't get any money until the beginning of October. Ergo, I can't pay my rent and I had to sell my Wii to afford food.
And sure you can invite me. My activity will be a tad lacking, as you might've figured out, but I'll try to come by 3nodding

Dx So that's what happened to that first girl? Not good. Not good at all. And kudos to your friend, that's awesome advice. :3
How do you have an "accidental" date? xD Like, "oops, it seems that we've both forgotten our lunches and have conveniently met up at a bistro! Would you like to eat with me"?
Hahahahaha. xD Duncan, promise me, that when you're done writing those other novels of yours (if you're still writing them) you'll write a romance novel centered around your life. It's immensely interesting.
Nooooo! DDD: That means we won't be able to play Brawl with each other! ; 3; Stupid gov't.
Yeah, Liz and I just have to get it set up. xD When we do then I'll invite you and I'll also make a topic about it here, just in case anyone will see it.

Of course I'm still working on my other novels, though that dosen't mean I can't write a new one blaugh I might do it just because you said so (though it will probably only be losely based on my life).
And don't worry too much about not beeing able to play Brawl against me, I'm planning on bying a new Wii again once I get money again.
And I can explain that "accident". First we met on the wednesday (or was it tuesday? I'm not sure anymore), and since I'm in charge of one of the cafeterias personell, I was trying to get her to work there. Since you don't get paid in money, but instead free lunches, I asked her if she was up for some free lunch, which she took as an invitation to eat lunch with her later that week, and so we swapped phone numbers and decided to have lunch during the friday. So yes, it is possible to accidentally date someone rofl Not that I'm complaining, I'm grateful for all the luck I get (God knows I deserve it after that last relationship).

xDDD Myay. 'Cause you know, I really would totally buy it. It's that interesting.
WHOOO! I get to kick some foreign a** with Pit! >: D
That actually makes sense. xD That's hilarious. So, are you two accidentally dating now, or dating for real?
Zomg. Liz is here. I'll ask her if she has anything to say.
Moi: Do you have anything to say?
Liz: To Duncan?
Moi: Yeah. Sure.
Liz: You're a loser.
. . . I guess you could take it as a compliment. xD;

I'm... not really sure to be honest. I mean, we've had a real date and all, and that went really well (I think I mentioned something about us going to the movies?). Anyway, I think I'll be able to answer that more accuratley after today.
And yeah, I guess that could be considered a compliment xd

Just think of it as, you lose at losing. xDDD
Yeah, you told me about that.
So not fair. D: I have a crapload of work to do for school. Ugh. This sucks. Sucks like the new forum design. It's all flipped!

Actually... I think the new design is better, and much easier to navigate. But that's just me.
And yeah, I get your problems with school. I tried to buy some of the books that I will need for class (actually, I needed to have them like two days ago), but they're sold out in all of the bookstores in the ENTIRE TOWN! So now 3/4 of the people that are taking the same class as me, are without books. And as it turns out, if I buy those books, I won't have any left. Which leaves me without food for the rest of the month at least. Yay!
Oh, and something tfunny I just remembered: One of the girls (Maybe I should start referring to girls around my age and above as woman? After all, I've only got a month or so left of my teens. Anyway...) in my class is the sister of my old physics teacher/principals wife. Imagine the odds.
Oh, and by the by, I did meet with that girl today, and we went to a café that I really like (and I was right that she'd love it too! Yay!). Well, we hung out there and had a really nice time, though I forgot to make sure what kind of relationship we have. So basically, as things stand now, we've had one random date, one date-date and one friends-date so far. Next weekend, I was thinking of baking some cookies and visiting a family I know. I'm thinking that maybe I'll ask her to tag along, since they're really nice people.

*shrug* It's growing on me. Very slowly. It just pisses me off that every time I quote someone who has colored text, it screws up the quote. It's so weird. And you check to see if anythings wrong... but nothing is! The code is perfect in your post!
I FINALLY finished my European History AP project! Yay! Go me! I win! It's only midnight!
So... That would make that a family date? xDD

Yeah, that is annoying. Well, I guess that has a lot to do with the same bugs that usually makes it impossible to use letters such as å, ä and ö, as well as é and such. Which is silly in my opinion. Ah well, sooner or later it'll be fixed, and the admins will find a new, better layout to screw everything up again biggrin
Woot indeed! I myself only have about 400 pages to read left, in two books that I can't even afford to buy. Yay! A friend of mine said I could copy his, the problem is, een if I'm lucky, I can't capy it until monday, and I need it for tusday (altough as long as I get it before friday, I'll still be able to manage, somehow).
And that was a very unromantic way to put it xd Seriously, they are great people and I'd really like her to meet some of the people I know, and since they are actually the ones I've known longest here in town, they are perfect. Besides, I'd feel bad if I didn't visit them anyway, since they're such nice people.

Then we're both sort of in the same boat. ; 3; I have 300 pages left to read over two days from The Poisonwood Bible. I'm gonna die! That's too much reading, even for me.
And I made it sound unromantic on purpose! xDD By ze way... The guild I mentioned previously is almost done. surprised We're in the middle of inviting all of the Crew to the guild.
I'm tempted to add you to Crew because I like having Crew members I know... xDD But I don't know if you're too busy. It wouldn't require a whole lot more work, but possibly more time than you have. I don't know how much that is. xD

Well, at the moment I have about one or two hours every second day to spare on average. I don't know if that's too little, but yah. It's up to you.
And good luck to both of us then 3nodding Seriously, I hate this book. Somehow I'm supposed to learn about the importance of science and different methods of using science by reading this book, but so far, the feeling I get is that the authors only wanted to brag about how many fancy words they could fit in 150 pages. I swear, I was *this* close to just tossing it on the table and flipping it off in the cafeteria today, shouting "THIS IS BULLSHIT!". Yes, it is a very frustrating piece of BOS, and I don't understand what I'm supposed to learn from it either. For the first time in my life, I'm regretting that I'm not doing drugs, because if I did, there is a chance I could've understood what the authors were thinking. But I'd better stop talking about that book, or I'll never stop.
