If Vegeta had the power to give birth himself, do you think he'd ever do the deed?

I believe he wouldn't. His main focus in life is himself. Yes, he has a wife and 2 children and you may say that 'oh, he helped give birth to Trunks and Bra', but the whole action of doing so is a natural human (or in this case, Saiyan) thing to do. As well, you really think he'd want to bring another life into this world after he's taken so many? XD I think not...

Point taken on both sides.
My opinion is that he might, it just depends on his situation. I mean, there are a lot of what if's in this.
I mean remember, think of if Vegeta had never taken all of those lives. Gothloli chan thinks he would.
Gothloli, besides your character Viola, why do you think he would do it? What circumstances would Vegeta have to be in in order to even want to do the deed.
Sin brings up a very good argument. He says that "because he has taken so many lives before, even if Vegeta could give birth himself, he wouldn't. He just doesn't care."
Now, if I were for the situation, then, I would say that if he found out that the reason that Kakkorat grew stronger than him and kept the gap close between him and the prince was because of the fact that Kakkorat has kids of his own along with some written evidence or even a dream inspired by his father, then, yeah, I think he would do it, just so he could be stronger than Kakkorat was and become the strongest saiyan alive.

I actually think that people don't give Vegeta much credit for having a heart. I honestly don't think Vegeta would mind having a child, as long as he wasn't pressured into it. Like, empress dee said, I think it really depends on the situation. I also think that he would care a lot about them, probably more so than his other children because maternal instinct would take over. After taking so many lives, I actually think it would do him good to bring a life into the universe and care for it.

I think there's a difference between wanting a child and wanting to *give birth* to a child. It would mean not training for months.

It seems to me that you do not trust Vegeta in what he can do. I think Vegeta knows his body better than anyone. I say if Vegeta wants to train let him even when pregnant. If he loses the kid then he'll know better for next time. Its how the saiyans learn. They learn the hardway, trust me.

Well yes he knows what he can do, but that could go either way - it's not like we have a canon comment on it.

Veta_Black I think there's a difference between wanting a child and wanting to *give birth* to a child. It would mean not training for months. Well, if you ask me, Vegeta seems to thrive on pain, so I don't really think he'd mind going through childbirth.
And like Dee said, he'd more than likely train anyway. I'm sure he'd be careful though. Since it's his child, I'd imagine he'd try to be careful with it, though he does tend to overdo things sometimes.
I think after he had the child he'd be full of pride.
