Seriously. I'm not kidding.
Here's what I wrote in my journal if you care enough about my senior citizen dog... :
Today my mom picked up my cousins to hang out while I got my hair cut...
So we were playing Mario party 8 on the Wii and everything was okay. The windows were open. Star (My dog, you idiot) ran over to the window for some reason and started scratching and barking at the window. Her tail was wagging, so she probably was excited about something and wanted to play. *shrug*
Then it suddenly got quiet. We all kinda looked at each other and turned toward the window. She was gone. We heard a small "Hellooo?" coming from outside. My eyes shot open and I screamed "Mom! Star jumped out the WINDOW!" and we all rushed out the door in our socks and bare feet to find the neighbor and her dog, Luna from two doors down. Her dog was all excited and she was trying to hold it back. Star on the other hand looked really out of it. Her face was saying "Whoa.... ow... Wait... How'd I get down here?" She freaking jumped out the window to see Luna.
She's 12 years old, wouldn't she know better than to jump out the window! It's like an 10 foot drop. She has some scratches on her face and her legs seemed a little wobbly, but nothing seems to be broken. The neighbor said she saw Star in the window and the next thing she knew, Star was on the ground in front of her.
I could tell my mom freaked out, for the rest of the night she was all irritated. Lots of adults were irritated today, but that's not my point. My point is that my dog jumped out of the window for like no reason.
