In the Dining Hall of Beauxbatons Academy are four tables, all circling each other in a white-blue maze of ice. The chairs, appeared to be ice and upholstered with the bluest silk and golden emroidery alongside the tables and chairs.
The sky is enchanted to appear as the icicles curving in the oddest of shapes. They crack off, falling down and disappearing through the obstacles in their path, sending a chill down one's spine.
Ice swans and birds fly across the tables, nipping at food and pecking the students. Some can even be seen nuzzling by the fire near the Teacher's Table.
Here is where the ladies of Beauxbatons can sit, talk,with and eat with their fellow students.

Rowena walked in the Hall, taking a seat in one of the glistening chairs. The spectacle put her in awe. Beauxbatons Academy was beautiful.

Simone was chatting with Chloe in the Hall, when she noticed a girl walk in and sit down near them. The girl seemed to be staring around in awe. Simone smiled inside, she had seen that look before.
"Hey, Chloe", Simone interrupted whatever Chloe had been rambling about," let's go talk to that girl over there". She pointed out the girl and rose slowly, with out waiting for Chloe's reply.

Chloe rose slowly and followed Simone meekly. She hated meeting new people, yet Simone was constantly encouraging (and sometimes forcing) her to make new friends.
'I'm just gonna let Simone do the talking here', she decided silently.

Rowena sat quietly, turning her head to see two girls approaching her.
"Hello," she said. "I am Rowena."

"Hi! I'm Simone," Simone said, pointing at herself, "And this," she indicated Chloe, "is Chloe. So, are you new here?"

"I used to have that problem too", Simone said,"I'm not very good with directions. Don't worry, it gets easier." She smiled warmly at Rowena and nudged Chloe, trying to get her to join in the conversation.

Kirra was on her way back up to the staff table when she stopped and focused on three students. She smiled and walked up to them. "Hello Girls," she said smiling cooling. She wonder if her smirk had her father's chill to it-but then she never minded it. "How if your first day here going for you?"

Simone looked at the newest member of their group and had an almost immediate dislike of her. It was the way she was looking at them...almost as if they had no right to be standing there talking. Chloe looked at Simone's face and saw it darken at the girl's approach. She wondered why and reminded herself to ask Simone later.

Kirra's smile evapotate from her face. She had disliked some teachers in her time, but there met this sort of open dislike. Kirra smiled at tehe other girls, and went to take her place at the staff table.
