Title: Rosenrot -oh- Rosenrot
Author: -ReiN-x-RauS-
Character(s): All of Rammstein, Me, My friend Abi, some other friends turn up later on, when we get to England!
Couple(s) if any: Myself and Reesh whee , possibly Abi and someone else... havn't worked the evil scheme out yet!
Genre: humour/entertainment/romance
Rating: 16/17+ (I warn ye, there may be sex)
Summary: I was bored and I have a warped imagination! So I give thee a fanfic involving me ( twisted sweatdrop ) winning a competition and meeting Rammstein. I'm currently writing it... so i'm not entirely sure of the rest of the storyline! (Myself and my friend are both around 20, older than we are now but that's because I shoved our birth dates back five years.)

I shall post updates every time I finish a part, you'll be alerted by an "UPDATE (1,2,3 etc...) !!" message in the thread title. okaly dokaly, please leave you comments on what you think so far!

Part One: Toast.

As I sat down at the kitchen table, munching on my toast, I sifted through the mail, same old stuff, until I came across a black envelope, with a rose on the top right corner.
I looked at it for a few minutes then ran my finger across the rose. It was embossed and slightly glittery.
Deciding it was either really important or interesting, I opened it, carefully, the envelope just looked far too precious!
Inside was a letter, a typed letter with a written note attached to the bottom.

"Dear Miss Dobinson,
We are pleased to inform you that your entry to the 'Reise Reise Art Competition has won first place!
As promised your prize will be to travel alongside the band on their tour bus!"

That's when I realised where the letter was from. My eyes widened and I choked on the toast in my mouth.
A few months back I entered an art competition, I didn't actually believe I'd win, there must be hundreds more artists better than me entering. However, it gave me something to do during my free time.

I am as many of my friends could tell you, a huge Rammstein fan, I'd adored them since their very first album, and admittedly, I did have a bit of a crush on the lead guitarist! Their music was a huge part of my life.
That's what the competition was for, the winner got to travel with them on their new Volkerball Tour.
As my entry I painted a portrait of the band together, I was quite proud of it when it was finished.
I pushed my toast to one side and continued reading the letter,

"On the third of August at 7 a.m, there will be a private jet ready for you at Heathrow Airport. Two of the band members will be there to meet you.
If there are any complications with this please contact us by the number or e-mail address at the bottom of the letter.

Yours Sincerely,
Rammstein HQ."

I dropped the letter and rushed to the phone, there was only one person to phone when something hysterical had happened! The excitement was killing me!
I quickly dialled the number and waited impatiently for someone to pick up.
"Hello?"
Thank god she picked up! I was about to burst!
"Abi! You will never guess what's just happened!" I exclaimed down the phone.
"Someone had too much sugar for breakfast! What? What's happened in Kayleyland then?"
It sounded as if she was waiting for me to suddenly declare an undying love for either her or fish sticks. One of the many phone greeting jokes we have!
"That competition I entered a while ago. Y'know, the one where I had to paint that portrait?" I said.
"Oh yeah that..."
Abi paused for a minute as she realised what I was about to say,
"OH MY GOD! KAYLEY! DID YOU WIN IT?!" Abi screeched.
"YEAH I DID! It's unbelievable! I'm going to meet Rammstein!!"

Me and her blabbered on for a while as I suddenly realised I had no way of getting to Heathrow myself.

"Uh Abi,"
"Yes? What's up now?"
"Are you free on the 3rd of August? All day preferably."
"Hold on I'll check..."
I heard Abi place the phone down and walk off somewhere. While waiting for her to return I noticed I hadn't read the written note yet. I was about to pick it up when Abi came back.

"Yes I am infact. Why?" She queried.
"You know your my bestest best friend and I love you very very much?" I said in a childish voice.
"Go on, what is it you want!"
"Could you give me a lift to Heathrow on that day? Otherwise I probably won't be able to go! Please please please please please?"
"Fair enough! You've gotta have someone to see you off haven't you!"
"THANK YOU! I'll love you forever!"

We chatted on a while longer, then Abi had to leave to go to work, so we said goodbye and put the phones down.
The written note once again came back to my mind.
I walked to the letter to pick up the note; it was just a small scrappy piece of paper with a few squiggles drawn on the edges. In the center was a sentence,

"Don't disappoint us!"

Part Two: The Airport.

I was so excited I could just explode into a million pieces. I hadn’t stopped smiling the whole journey!
“Anyone would think you’ve got worms!” Declared Abi.
“Well at least I don’t have spasm-shoulder syndrome! And anyway, you have the wrong insect! The diagnosis here is that I have butterflies!”
“Yes, but all in all you do not have the mystical way of the iguana do you?”
There was a short pause while I continuously prodded Abi’s head.
“Dammit woman I’m trying to drive!” Laughed Abi.
“We’re almost there now anyway, although there’ll probably be a mile of traffic leading to the airport.”
I jiggled about in the seat bubbling with joy. I still couldn’t believe I’d won, it seemed so impossible!

A while later, after making it through Abi’s predicted mile of traffic, she drove into the airport car park. She braked and as soon as she turned the engine off, I threw open the car door and pranced to the boot. I tried opening it, but it didn’t budge! The bloody woman had locked it!
“Abi! Open this damn boot!!”
“Maybe I could open it today… Maybe tomorrow… Or maybe not at all!”
I started screaming and went to sit on the bonnet of the car, making faces at Abi through the windscreen. She tried to keep a serious face, but she failed, desperately!
“OPEN THE BOOT!!”
Abi eventually regained her sanity and got out of the car, I followed her to the boot.
She opened up the door and I dived in for my luggage.

Abi locked the car and we walked into the airport building, she didn’t really know who to look for, she was more of a ‘McFly girl’. Suddenly my heart skipped a beat.
“Abi…”
I pointed to the seats by the reception desks.
“That’s them? Well go on then, go introduce yourself!”
I closed my eyes for two seconds and took a deep breath, then started to walk towards where they were seated.
I stopped in front of them and placed my bags on the floor, I nervously smiled.
“…H-hello!”
I watched the two men stand up; at this point my heart was thudding out of my chest.
Before me stood Till, he had a small grin on his face and outstretched his strong arm to shake my hand.
“Guten Tag!”
Then I turned to face the other member. I froze. Stood right before my eyes was Richard, with a beaming smile on his face and a glint in his lovely icy eyes.
“Hey there! So you’re the artist then?”
I nodded and shook his hand. I was shaking quite a lot, he must have noticed as he chuckled a bit and winked at me, melting me in the process.
“GLOMPAGE!!!!”
“Oh god Abi no!”
I quickly moved out of the way as Abi came thundering towards us launching herself at Till. A look of pure terror overtook him as she crashed into his chest and they both fell to the ground, causing many innocent civilians to hide their children and walk in an opposite direction.
“The letter didn’t say no pets did it?” Queried Richard.
I giggled as we watched Till and Abi clamber up off the floor.
“I am not a pet Mr Reesh!”
“I think you are…” Grumbled Till.
“Reesh? What’s a Reesh?”
Richard looked incredibly puzzled at this point,
“Ah, that’s what us fans have ended up calling you. A bit like a pet name!” I explained.
“There! That means you’re the pet now Reeshy-poose!” Abi said as she ruffled Reesh’s spiky black hair.
“Not my hair!!” Reesh screamed, jumping back in fear.
Till found this very funny, laughing and patting Abi on the head.
“I like this one! Do you think we can hire her to harass Flake?”
Abi’s demonic smile explained it all; she clearly liked this new job offering!
“I’d love to see that! But surely Flake would just snap in half if she harassed him?” I jestered.
“Of course, but it would be worth it just for the look on his face!” Said Reesh.

“Right then, we’d better go and get on that jet!” Announced Reesh.
“NO! KAYLEY DON’T GO! They won’t love you like I love you!!”
Abi always did that, it must be a mandatory love offering!
Till prodded Reesh on the shoulder,
“Hey Richard…”
“Yes?”
Till grabbed Abi and grinned,
“Can we keep her?!”
“What?!”
Abi sounded quite shocked. Reesh stood there for a while as if determining whether keeping Abi was a good idea.
“Ok, I suppose so! The thought of a Flake harasser just put the cherry on the cake!”
“But she doesn’t have a passport guys!” I said.
“What? But Kayley! I’m a suitcase! I don’t need a passport!!”
Till put Abi back down.
“But she doesn’t have any spare clothes either!”
“Don’t worry… I’m sure we’ll find some in Schneider’s drag queen closet!” Laughed Reesh.
I looked to Abi; we seemed to both be thinking the same thing. Both of us grabbed hold of each others arms and danced around in circles, once again causing the innocent bystanders discomfort.
“We’re going on a jet plane! To go onto a tour bus! To harass the stick insect of the keys!”

Hey hey! I've got a new section! Sorry I took so long guys, I stopped writing for a LONG time. sweatdrop

Part 3: Flying

All four of us took our seats on the plane. There were only four seats there, so we had plenty of legroom. Till offered to put my luggage away and carried it through to the back of he plane.
"So, tell me, how long have you enjoyed our music?" Reesh asked.
Before I could answer Abi butted in,
"She's obsessed! Seriously!"
"Shut up Abi! I'm not as bad as you and your music!"
Abi gave me a stern look.
"Well ok then. You're not that bad!"
Till returned to his seat and started reading a book, I'm not sure what it was, the title was in German.
"I've liked your music ever since I first heard it! And don't you dare ask me for my favourite song! You'd end up with a list so long it would take the entire plane journey!" I laughed.
Reesh smiled, got up and walked towards the front of the plane. Till looked out of his window and muttered,
"I hope we don't get some bimbo hostess, otherwise I may have to resort to eating her."
"Tasty!" I replied.
"The pilots here, finally."
"Richard you’re so impatient!"
"Says you the hostess eating monster of Berlin!"
Reesh gave Till a glare as he sat back down.
We all were silent as we watched the pilot get on board.
"Good morning passengers, I'm your pilot for today, and I guarantee to get you to Germany in one piece!"
The pilot grinned then signalled to us with the star trek 'live long and prosper' sign.
"...Holy s**t"
Reesh looked stunned at the trekky pilot. Abi leaped up,
"TREKKY GOLMPAGE!!!!"
"Not again Abi!"
I jumped up and grabbed hold of Abi's arm, but I tripped over a bag on the floor and both of us went flying, just missing the pilot, but crushing the hostess who had just made her way onto the plane. I could hear the guys giggling in the background like a couple of school boys who had just found a porno mag in the teachers’ desk.
"Hey Till, they just crushed your bimbo!"

The rest of the flight was relatively normal, the four of us chatted the whole way about things such as what we'll actually find in Schneider’s drag closet and whether the hostess will need counselling or not. The last few minutes of before landing all of us were quiet. I looked out of the window across Berlin. It didn't look how I’d imagined it, but I was still amazed by it, just the fact that I was now in Germany thrilled me. The sight of the city soon disappeared as the plane covered vast outstretches of fields, we gradually got closer and closer to the ground then the planes wheels hit the runway with a hefty thud.
When the plane stopped the pilot came back into the main part of the plane,
"Didn't I tell you I'd get you here in one piece?" The pilot chuckled and looked out of the window.
"Hehe! Look there’s a rabbit in that field!"
Abi snorted then bent over double laughing at the freak of a pilot.
"Yeah ok crackpot, you can go now, we can get ourselves sorted out!"
The pilots smile disappeared as he silently walked off the plane with the hostess, obeying Till's request.
Reesh and Till kindly carried my things for me off the plane, me and Abi followed them through to the huge building before us. We both felt a little lost and confused, neither of us spoke much German and of course we'd never been there before.
It took quite a while to get through customs, trying to actually pass Abi off as a suitcase really didn't work! Thank God Till was there, his temper was what finally convinced the officers to let us through.
After we left the airport we had to have a car journey to the edge of the city. Till told us that there was a hotel there where the rest of the band were waiting for us.
I sat next to Reesh in the car, I still couldn't stop shaking, it was like sitting next to some sort of overlord who nobody had the privilege to see.
"You could just tell me if I'm that scary y’know!" Reesh joked.
I smiled, but said nothing, I felt so nervous.
“Don’t worry, I don’t bite…much!”
He laughed and put his arm around my shoulders, patting them as he did. He was obviously trying to calm me down.

It didn’t take much longer to get to the hotel, most of the way nobody said anything. We watched the landscape fly by in a colourful blur.
When we reached the hotel we got out of the car, and Till grabbed my bags.
“Oh Till, don’t worry, I’ll carry them!”
“No, we’re your hosts, so we’ll look after you!”
So far the guys had been very kind to me, and as for letting Abi come with us, that was an extra bonus!

More for your reading delight!

Part Four: It’s A German Thing.

The hotel looked huge from the outside, it was a relatively new too, quite modern looking.
Me and Abi followed Till and Reesh up the stairs and into the reception area.
“TILL!! HILF MIR!!”
All of us turned to the sound of the sound of the panicked scream. Till dropped the bags as a distressed Paul came bounding towards him, arms flailing above his head. He grabbed Till and clung to him to him for dear life.
“Uh, Paul…Guests…”
Till just about managed to break his arm free of Paul’s vice grip, to point towards me and Abi.
I knew Paul’s English wasn’t incredibly good, so I simply waved and said,
“Guten tag!”
“Hallo.” He replied, loosening his grip on Till slightly.
Meanwhile Reesh was checking us in.
“Ok guys, rooms this way.”
Reesh gestured to the stairs and lead the way up them. When we reached the door we could hear loud crashings and bashings from inside. Paul edged closer to Till like a scared child does to its mother.
“Be, careful…” He murmured.
Reesh took no notice of his warning and opened the door. What happened after that will probably have the rest of us scarred for the rest of our lives.
“She’s a man eater! Make you work hard make you spend hard! Make you want all of her love!”
Our jaws gaped wide open at, Schneider of all people, in a PVC cat suit singing into a hairbrush and dancing to Nelly Furtado’s song Maneater.
“Schneider…”
It was Reesh who finally managed to say something to this monstrosity of a drummer.
“Schneider…What the ******** are you doing?!”
Schneider whizzed round to see us in the doorway, literally speechless.
“Uh…We were doing truth or dare! Honestly! Flake dared me to do it!”
“Yeah sure, you just like to think your Catwoman don’t you?”
“I do not! You know I prefer Wonderwoman!”
Schneider abruptly stopped talking and shoved his hand over his mouth. A loud cackling emerged from Abi’s surprisingly small mouth.
“Please tell me that’s not the contest winner…” Came a voice from the corner of the room,
“And I did not tell you to do that Schneider!”
A mini war started to break out between Schneider and the voice in the corner, otherwise known as Flake.
We walked into the room as Till trudged up to Flake and hit him on the head.
“Don’t be so rude to our guests!”
“What? There are two?!”
“Of course there are! Why else would four people walk into the room at once? Ok, Abi, Kayley your beds are down here.”
Me and Abi strode past the others in the room to go see our beds, as we walked past Schneider Abi winked at him,
“Nice a**!” Then resorted to cackling her lungs out once again.

I didn’t bother unpacking my stuff, I just slung the bags in a corner as Till told me we’d only be there for one night.
I went into the main room where I saw Abi chasing Flake round the room with a breadstick.
“Abi what the hell are you doing?!”
“He said I sound like a dying chicken!!”
I had to laugh at them; if you didn’t laugh you’d just cry! I also wondered if the breadstick was Till’s idea as a slight spin off of the idea for ‘Buck Dich’. I looked round the room and noticed there was only seven of us.
“Guys where’s Olli?”
Paul and Schneider both looked at each other as if they were at the bottom of something.
“What have you two done with him?” I asked.
“Nothing! We’re innocent!” Pleaded Schneider.
Their smirks and giggles gave them away; they were terrible at hiding things! At that point Flake jumped behind me.
“Let’s go look for him! Before that breadstick does things only that psycho girl could imagine!”
The two of us scuttled out of the room as Abi ran towards us, unfortunately for her on her way to attacking us she whacked Reesh with the stick, and it snapped in half causing crumbs to fly everywhere.
“NOT MY HAIR!!!!”
Flake quickly closed the door behind us and breathed a sigh of relief.
“What on Earth have we let ourselves in for?”
I patted Flake on the back,
“Trust me, that’s not the worst of it!”
Flake shook his head and proceeded to walk down the stairs.
“They could have done anything with him, last time they played a practical joke Olli ended up in a basket on the back of a lorry.”
I felt sorry for Olli; he was the shyest one, so he must be prone to being picked on.

We checked all over the hotel but couldn’t find him, we even checked with one of the waiters, in case he ended up in the kitchen, but no sign, so me and Flake started to look outside. We were unsuccessful right up until we heard a shuffling behind some wheelie bins across the road.
“Hilf? Hilf!”
“What the hell?”
I looked behind the bin to see Olli, but the thing is he was stuck in a box… completely naked.
“Uh…Flake?”
“Have you found him?”
Flake came over to where I was, took one look and horror spread out across his face.
“Paul and Schneider captured me! Please get me out of this box!”
I had to run back into the hotel to find some clothes for Olli, getting arrested for indecent exposure didn’t appear to be on their tour agenda.
Olli sorted himself out and we went back up to the room. He instantly attacked Paul and Schneider; I went to talk to Abi.
“Where did you find him?”
“He was behind a wheelie bin… in a box… naked.”
Abi simply looked at me funny and shrugged. “Must be a German thing.”

Part Five: Insomnia.

I looked the clock next to my bed, 2 a.m. I hadn’t slept all night, and I was restless. So, I decided to get out of bed and wander into the main room, find something to do.
The small light in the corner of the room was on; the guys must have forgotten to turn it off.
“Can’t sleep?”
The voice frightened me; I’d thought everyone else was asleep.
Sitting on the sofa opposite the light on the other side of the room was Reesh.
“What are you doing up?” I asked.
“I could ask you the same thing!”
I went to sit next to him.
“Why are you up then?” He asked.
“I don’t sleep very well; I’ve been like it since I was fifteen.”
“Yeah I know what that’s like, would you like a coffee?”
“Yes please” I replied.
Reesh stood up and swaggered into the kitchen.
While waiting for him to come back I started to think back to when I actually was fifteen. I thought about all the times I drove all my friends mad by yakking on about certain Rammstein songs, videos or members. I also thought about the times I stayed up late on the internet chatting with others in The Rammstein Guild about Till’s man fur, Flakes legs or one of my personal favourites, Reesh’s a**!
Being in Germany with the guys reminded me of it all.
At that moment Reesh came back into the room carrying two large mugs. He placed them on a table in front of me.
“There you go.”
“Danke.”
Reesh sat down next to me and rubbed his eyes.
“How come you can’t sleep?”
“Same reason you can’t, it’s like insomnia.”
There was a short pause.
“You’re not half as loud as your friend are you?”
“Oh I can be, I’m just really nervous that’s all.”
“There’s no need for your nerves, just look at Abi! She’s been running about the place as if she’s known us all her life!”
“It’s different for her though, because she’s not actually a fan so you’ll mean something very different to her.”
I paused for a moment, trying to think of a way he would understand, then it hit me.
“Imagine what you’d feel like if you knew you were about to spend the next few months touring with KISS.”
My suggestion made Reesh choke a little on his coffee.
“That’d be amazing! But I guess… yeah I would be slightly nervous.”
“Well now you know!” I laughed and reached for my coffee.
“Do you like KISS?” He asked.
“I’ve only heard a few of their songs, but what I’ve heard is good! I really like Crazy Crazy Nights.”
“Oh that is such a great song!” He exclaimed enthusiastically.
We spent a fair few hours chatting away that early morning, and it helped me out a bit because I didn’t feel so nervy around him anymore, it also showed me a side to Reesh that you will probably never see on stage or on camera.

MOAR!!! rofl

Part Six: Wake up and smell the Flake!

Flake was the first up that morning. He sluggishly trudged into the main room, stretching upwards, whilst slowly pacing into the main room, Flake, awakening his sleepy limbs, stopped mid-stretch and stared across at the sofa. Till came out of his bedroom and stopped in exactly the same position as Flake and laughed.
"Come on lovebirds! Get up!" He bellowed, still laughing.
I'd woken up, but I didn't open my eyes, whatever I'd fallen asleep against was really comfy! I snuggled up and got a little comfier.
"OI!"
I grumbled and slowly opened my eyes, eventually everything came into focus, I'd been asleep on the sofa. Suddenly what I was leaning against moved. Till started laughing again.
"Been making out during the night have we?"
"What?!"
I shot up from my cosy position, Flake still in stretched form. It appeared that I'd fallen asleep beside a rather dead-looking Reesh, with his mouth wide open like a venus fly trap.
"We were not making out! Neither of us could sleep so we sat around out here and chatted!"
"Of course you were!"
Till laughed once again and waltzed into the kitchen.
"Flake, stop looking at us like that!"
He finally budged out of his fixed pose and followed Till into the kitchen. I giggled at the ungracefulness of Reesh, then shook him about a bit.
"Hey Reesh, wake up, time to come back to the land of the living!"
He made a strange growling noise and opened his eyes. Olli then strode into the room straight towards the CD player on the side.
"Someone left this thing on again."
He opened up the top and took out the CD inside. He looked at it for a moment then turned to look at Reesh.
"Crazy nights huh? Been having midnight KISS parties again haven't you?"
Olli smiled and put the CD back into its case beside the speaker. Meanwhile Reesh was dragging himself into a conscious state.
"I'm going to wake the others." Olli said.
As he walked away I prodded Reesh's shoulder.
"We're in for a hell of a day now."
He rubbed his eyes.
"Uh...What's happened now?"
"Till reckons we were canoodling last night."
"Oh... s**t... He's going to use that against me for ages now..."

I prodded his stomach and went back into the bedroom, only to find Olli jumping on Abi's bed.
"Get up! Get up! Get up!"
Abi roared at him and lobbed a pillow at his head, I decided to join in!
"Abi get up! Get out of bed lazy bones!"
Me and Olli chanted to her in childish voices while jumping about on the mattress... right up until a spring broke...
"Oh look what you've done now!"
"Don't blame us! You're the one not getting out of bed!"
That's when things were about to get a bit worse... There was a loud gasp coming from the doorway, we turned to see Paul.
"Oh mein gott! Bouncing on the bett!"
Paul's face had a delighted expression of glee on it as he ran into the room and pounced on the bed and started jumping on the already broken mattress.
"Abi get aus of bett! Abi get aus of bett!"
That was when we heard a loud crack. All of us stopped moving. Eyes wide open with fear.
"Was ist das?"
Just a few seconds after Paul queried the loud noise; there was another very loud crack.
"Oh s**t..."
With a sudden jolt the entire bed collapsed, causing all four of us to fall to the ground in a large mound, like the failures of a game of twister. Flake was standing in the doorway.
"Why the hell did you guys just do that?"
He looked at the mound of airdropped people sprawled out across the floor very disapprovingly.
"Someone got out of the wrong side of bed today!" Remarked Olli.
"Someone busted the damn bed this morning causing a heap of damage fees!"
Flake folded his arms and stomped away.
"Is Flake a woman?"
"Why on Earth do you think that Abi?"
Paul started giggling hysterically.
Abi leaned closer to Olli and whispered;
"I think it's his 'time of the month'"
Abi nodded as if she'd just made a miracle discovery.
"GLOMPAGE!!!!"
"Was...?"
Everyone looked to the doorway only to see Schneider running towards us at full speed.
"Oh god no!"
Schneider hurled himself through the air and landed on top of our mound flattening all our internal organs and the squished remains of the bed, leaving the rest of us screaming in pain.
“That’s it! We’re keeping Schneider and Abi away from each other!” Roared Olli.

Part Seven: Rhino Fat Pillows.

Me, Abi, Olli, Reesh, Paul, Schneider and Flake were standing near the hotel doors waiting for Till to finish checking us out of the hotel. Unfortunately he was the one to be lumbered with the explaining of the broken bed. God knows how he’d get us out of that one.
"I'm not paying the damages! I didn't break the bloody thing!" Till demanded. Paul was giggling at him like a child.
"You find something amusing short a**?!"
Paul stopped giggling and looked straight down at his feet, shuffling them around. Till and Paul could either be described as a 'father and son' couple, or just a miss-matched gay couple.
"I don't care lady! I'm not paying!" Till slammed his fist on the counter, turned on his heel then rampaged out of the foyer.
"Oh dear... Someone's in rhino mode!" Chuckled Reesh.
We left the lady at the counter watching in astonishment as we picked up our things and meandered out of the building. Outside on the road was a huge tour bus, it was black with 'Rammstein, Volkerball' written across the side in large gold lettering.
"Race you to the back of the bus!" Exclaimed Abi, patting Schneider on the back quite roughly. She darted down the front steps toward the bus, with Schneider racing close behind, watching them slam into the doorway at precisely the same moment and scrabble their way up the stairs, aided with suitcases as weapons was almost as amusing as Till's 'rhino moment'.

Inside the tour bus was huge, at the front just behind the drivers seat was the living room. It had two sofas; one of which could open out into a single bed, and a small TV in the corner. Further on was a small kitchen, with space for an oven, sink, fridge and two cupboards. Opposite that was a table, with a seat all the way round the edge. Just behind that was a tiny bathroom, I can't imagine the squabbles we'll be having over that! From then on to the very back of the bus were three reasonably sized bedrooms, two with two beds in, and one with one bed and a bunk.
Olli told me that usually the guys wouldn't be in close quarters like this for an entire tour, normally making their own way around and staying in various different places. They decided a tour bus would be better considering they were having guests.
"Welcome home ladies!" Reesh declared outspreading his arms and cheekily grinning. Olli ran to one of the bedrooms and called out to us,
"Dibs on this room!"
"I'm grabbing that too then!!" Called Schneider, whilst trying to batter Abi down with his suitcase.
"I'll take the third one in there then guys!" Shouted Flake.
"I'm having this one out here then!" Reesh said as he sat very quickly on the sofa. We all turned to Paul, who was climbing up the stairs into the bus. He stopped to see us all staring at him.
"What?" He queried, his expression was priceless, it was almost as if he was expecting us to tell him we'd accidentally thrown his guitar out of the nearest window.
"Seriously! What!?"
"You have to share with Till!" Schneider explained, smiling smugly whilst yanking Abi's ear.
"Get off me dog brain!" She whined. Paul put on the best puppy face he could possibly muster,
"Bitte bitte bitte let me swap!! He'll beat me in the night!!" Paul looked genuinely frightened.
"Hey I'll share with him then!" The second the words rolled from Abi’s tongue everyone in the front of the coach leaped in horror and shouted "NO!"
"Why not? I'm sure there's a soft and squidgy center beneath that layer of rhino fat!" It was almost as if she meant it.
"Your funeral." Flake commented
"No! We can't have her sharing a room with him! We have to look after her y'know!" Argued Schneider.
"Yes but if she wants to, who are we to stop her?"
Reesh sat down slowly, and appeared to be thinking,
"...Ok, but if you die on your head be it!" He laughed.
"Oh, but as long as I can share with Kayley every so often! She is my wife after all!" She chuckled to herself.
"And remember! It was his idea to bring me here! So -" Abi stuck her tongue out at him. After which she ran into one of the rooms and came rushing back out armed with a pillow. She hurled herself at Schneider, screaming at the top of her voice.
"This is KRIEG!!!" The two were now submerged in full scale mortal combat. We all squished ourselves on one of the sofas and watched, it was like a morning show!

After a little while the driver turned up, he was very quiet, he just sneaked into the driving seat almost as if he didn't want to be seen, but then again who can blame him, he probably heard the strange noises emanating from the bus outside, and then upon entering saw the mess on the floor from the suitcase and pillow fight and was scared shitless. The floor by the way, was covered in feathers from inside the pillow and several heaps of random items of Schneider’s clothing which was expelled from his case when he tried whacking Abi with it several more times. The two of them did eventually stop and collapse on the opposite sofa, breathing heavily and giggling insanely. I decided to go into my room and unpack, sharing with Paul would be interesting, conversations in my fractured German and his fractured English could be quite amusing! I couldn't explain how happy I felt right now, I'm amazed at how much at home the guys made me feel, it was like I’d known them for ages! And I’m glad Abi was here too. Abi to me
was one of my closest friends, having her with me calmed my nerves slightly. I'd soon loose my nerves, I was always like that, have a shaky start but then pass it and carry on as normal. More than anything I was ecstatic to have met Reesh; I was like a mad school girl around him at times!
"Are you going to stare at the case forever?"
I looked up to the doorway; Paul was standing there holding his case. I realised that while I was thinking I'd completely frozen and had been staring at my case for some time.
"You ok?"
"Yeah of course, I'm really happy!" I smiled at him; he came over and ruffled my hair then walked out of the room.

Part Eight: Concert Number One.

Obviously the very first concert was in Berlin, considering that's where we were. The tour bus had been parked outside the stadium for the night, for several hours during the night, me, Olli and Paul had been stationed outside Till and Abi's bedroom, listening through the door with a glass. That evening Till had only emerged from the depths of his domain for food, drinks and the toilet. As a result we wanted to see if Abi had a fair chance of surviving the night. The only thing we heard during those few hours was Till's booming snoring.
That morning I was woken up by Paul scrabbling around making his bed.
"Gut morgen!" He said cheerily. I raised my hand very wearily and waved, then collapsed my arm back down on my pillow. I was not a morning person! I’m sure the lack of sleep really doesn’t help either.
"Come on Kayley! Raus! Raus!"
"Oh go away Paul!" I grabbed my pillow from under my head and hurled it in his general direction. His instant reaction was to stand there and stare at me with his 'puppy face'.
"Don't think you're going to get me with that!" I looked at him for a little while; his face remained in the same state, slowly causing cracks in my solid exterior.
"Awww, now I have to hug you!!!" I jumped out the bed and hurled myself rather like the pillow at Paul, he amazingly was able to catch me and spin me round several times.
"Good morning Paul!" I beamed as he put me down, both of us laughing.
"So! First concert eh? You nervous?" I asked.
"Only a little. As soon as I start playing I'll be good."
"YOU BURNT IT! YOU BURNT IT!" Both me and Paul whipped ourselves out the doorway at the sound of Abi screaming at the top of her lungs.
"What the hell is going on out here?!"
"Till burned my breakfast!"
"Well I'm sorry! I'm no chef! You make your bloody food then!" Abi waggled her finger in Till's face.
"Ah-ah-ah! You promised me last night that you'd cook me breakfast!" Schneider's ears appeared to p***k up.
"Oh aye? What happened between you two last night then?"
"Well Tilly boy here, while searching for one of his jumpers, knocked over a drink on the bedside table, and spilt it all over my white vest top!"
"Oh I see, so he offered to make breakfast for you. I thought that perhaps He was trying to woo you!" He got up to walk to his room patting Till on the back and messing up Abi's hair.
Till disposed of the burnt food, and proceeded to attempt another couple of rashers of bacon. Paul followed Schneider into the bedroom, me and Abi sat on the sofas together with Olli, Flake and Reesh. Flake was reading a newspaper, seemingly trying to ignore everyone else.
"You looking forward to the concert then Kayley?" Olli asked.
"Oh GOD yes! I've always wanted to see you guys in concert, I'm so excited!!"
"Ah you'll love it, everything is ten times bigger and ten times better than anything we've done before!" Beamed Reesh.
"But what about Abi? I'm sure you guys realise she's not actually a fan."
"Who cares? You say it'll be bigger and better, I say prove it!" Abi giggled and returned to the kitchen to provoke Till.
"Breakfast Kayley?"
"Oh you don't have to do-"
"No, I insist! At least I won’t burn it like Till over there!" Reesh rose from his seat and moved into the kitchen, searching for food and utensils.

That evening I found myself standing on the center of a huge stage, looking out across a vast expanse of empty stadium space.
"Big isn't it?" I turned round slightly, Till was standing next to me, looking out across the space.
"I can't imagine how nervous I'd be if I was you." I paused for a moment, looking back across the vast openness.
"Is it true that you get stage fright?"
"I don't like people staring at me, so I guess having an entire crowd fixated on me is quite frightening for me yes."
"That's incredible." Till bowed his head for a moment, he was smiling, he had such a lovely smile, it's a shame that we hardly ever see it.
"Come on; let's take you backstage, we'll have to get ready soon." I nodded to him as he led me through the circle shaped doorway in the center of the stage, from there, there were a small set of stairs and a path that led into a backroom, where all the guys were practising and Abi was watching.
When the time came for me and Abi to be taken into the viewing area, the guys were about to have their traditional pre-performance tequila.
"Hey no wait! Those two have to drink with us!" Shouted Paul. Seemingly out of nowhere a man handed us two small glasses full of tequila, we took a glass each.
"Eins, zwei, drei!" We all downed the tequila in one shot; me and Abi were pulling the most terrifying faces at the strength of the drink. Reesh roared and lobbed his glass at the nearest available wall, closely followed by Olli and Till.
"Ok, you can take them now!" Giggled Paul.
"Good Luck guys!" Abi called,
"Not that you'll need it!" I followed.
The man whom I can only presume was a security guard led us straight through the security area of the mosh pit and straight into the center of the front line. The masses of people behind us were all screaming and chanting 'Rammstein'. Some small groups were singing lyrics from certain songs. The atmosphere around us was one of excitement, adoration and we all seemed united by the love of what was to come. The stage before us was hidden by a large curtain, so large it covered the entire width and height of the stage. Suddenly, in unison with a high pitched screaming sound effect, the curtain was lit with patches of yellowish brown light, the crowd buzzed with anticipation, then screeched at the sound of the very beginning of 'Reise Reise'.
"This better be good!" Said Abi.
"Trust me; it’ll be better than good!" I watched the curtain waving in the slight wind, which almost instantaneously fell from the rafters in unison with the first strums of the guitars, before us was Olli and Flake, on the bottom of the stage, Paul and Reesh were standing on a kind of stand, at either side of the stage, which was lowering them to the bottom floor, up on the top floor, smack bang in the middle was Schneider, sat behind a huge drum kit. When Paul and Reesh had landed on the lower stage, they took there positions, Paul next to Olli on the left, and Reesh next to Flake on the right. At this point, Till came goose-stepping out of the circular doorway, in time to the seaman’s chant. I was mesmerised by the true power they had, even though they had only just started playing.

Part Nine: Afterward.

"Oh my god that was so AMAZING!!!!!"
Everyone was back in the tour bus kicking back after the concert, except for me; I was almost bouncing off the walls!
"The costumes were so cool, and the music was fantastic, and I loved the shooting drumstick thingies! And the face flamethrowers!! OH MY GOD!" The lads were finding my display of affection rather amusing, Abi was fairly used to it by now so didn't show much reaction.
"I have to admit, even if I don't like the music, the entertainment value was immense!" Said Abi.
"Oh and when you stuck Flake in the cooking pot! Who thought of that one?" I had to ask.
"That was my genius!" Boasted Till.
We talked for several hours afterwards, before finally giving up and going to bed, all except for Abi and Olli, who decided to stay up a little longer.
"Well if you two are going to be babbling on for longer I'm stealing your bed Olli!" Called Reesh as he moved out of the room. The room cleared, and it was suddenly a lot quieter.
"So you enjoyed it then?" Asked Olli.
"Yes surprisingly enough, I thought the boat across the crowd at the end was genius! How on Earth can you manage to do that without falling out?"
"I can't all the time; I have to trust the crowd!"
"You wouldn't catch me doing that, they'd definatly drop me!" For a moment there was a slightly awkward silence.
"Where are we headed to next?" Abi queried.
"We’ll be here for a couple of weeks, then we have to go to Hamburg, we have a concert there."
"So what'll we do?"
"Not sure yet, I guess the others will decide." Abi got up from her seat and moved to sit next to Olli, he looked slightly fidgety.
"You're very quiet compared to the others; it's strange, for such a loud bunch of people." Olli chuckled at her remark.
"I like to listen and watch other people, they can be quite fascinating. Sometimes it's better to keep your distance too..."
"How'd you mean?"
"Well, sometimes keeping clear of something can save you from being hurt." Abi looked shocked.
"But what if you end up regretting something you haven’t done or said?"
"It's a small price to pay. Anyway I'll be okay, I've always been okay." He turned to Abi and Smiled.
"You should probably get some sleep, moshing is quite tiring you know!" Abi feigned a laugh then rose from her seat; she patted Olli on the shoulder.
"G'night Olli."
"Night Abi." She left the room looking slightly miffed.

"Well someone has to do something! She can't just sleep all day!"
"We've already shaken her around enough to dislodge her organs! What else should we do?"
I could hear faint voices in the distance; I could feel something tapping the end of my nose. I gradually opened my eyes to be faced with Reesh, poking my nose.
"GAH!!!" I leaped back in shock.
"Ok! She's awake! Let's go!" Flake waltzed out of the doorway.
"What my face isn't that scary is it?" Asked Reesh, I still wasn't quite all there,
"No, your face is actually quite..." I came to and realised what I was saying. Reesh had one eyebrow raised and a devilish grin across his face.
"My face is quite...?"
"Don't worry!" He laughed at me and got up from his knees.
"Come on then up you get, we'll be in Hamburg soon, and you need breakfast!"
"You'd better not make it for me again!" Reesh froze in the doorway then leaped over Paul’s bed and grabbed my nose.
"If I want to make you breakfast then I will!" He laughed at my frightened expression and left the room, leaving Schneider leaning against the wall. He was smiling,
"What?" He said nothing but winked at me then walked out of the room.

I'd got dressed and trudged into the kitchen and sat at the table, everyone but Reesh was in the living room watching TV and arguing about what channel to watch. Reesh suddenly whisked a plate onto the table; on it was the most delicious looking cheese on toast on the planet.
"Bon appetite!"
"Oh I love cheese on toast!"
"I know, Abi told me to make it!" He was sitting on the chair opposite me with his head in his hands, watching me eat.
"You're scaring me! Stop watching me eat!"
"What! I want to know if you like it or not!" I took a slice from the plate and munched a bit off, all while glaring at him.
"Well?"
"Absolutely diabolical!" He looked slightly upset.
"I'm joking of course! No it's lovely!" I leaned over and flicked his forehead.
"You doof!" He looked up at me and started quivering his lip.
"I'd throw this toast at you if it wasn't so tasty!" I laughed and looked over Reesh's shoulder to the others; I noticed Schneider was once again, staring at me smiling.
"Stop doing that! It's starting to get really creepy!" He simply blinked and looked back over at the TV. Suddenly a pillow went flying across the room.
"That's for staring at my wife b***h!" Abi jumped up from her seat.
"EN GARDE!"
"Oh god... they're off again." Flake mumbled as he darted for the bedroom doors.

Part Ten: Hamburg.

“So then, where are we going?” Asked Abi. We were walking along a busy street in Hamburg; it was surprising that nobody noticed Rammstein were walking down the street.
“We are taking you shopping! You need more clothes seeing as you’re going to be here for quite a while, and you need a suitcase to put it in!” Till explained.
“Clothes shopping!!” Abi threw her fist in the air.
“How much are we spending on me then?”
“Ooh aren’t you the material girl!” Flake laughed.
The guys lead us down several streets to a huge department store, and when I say huge, I mean huge!
Inside there were at least six floors of things to buy. Abi darted straight to the clothes she spied in the far corner of the first floor.
“Blimey she’s eager.” Till chuckled to himself, he turned to face the rest of us,
“Right, Schneider, Olli, Flake, you’re looking after Abi. Richard, Paul you’re coming with me and Kayley.”

“Seen anything you like?” Schneider said whilst inspecting a strangely patterned dress.
“More like seen anything YOU like drag queen!” Abi giggled.
“Once, I dressed up once! Well…ok twice… but that’s beside the point!”
“I think you’d look good in this.” Abi turned round to see what Olli was pointing at, just in front of him was a top; it had long white sleeves that got baggier nearer the bottom, it also had what looked like a cincher round the waist area, which was a dark brown colour, just a bit lighter than Abi’s hair.
“Now who’s the drag queen? He knows more about clothing than I do!” Joked Schneider. Abi picked up the top and held it against her.
“Hey it’s nice! Good going Olli, but are you sure I’d look good in it?”
“Hey I’ll have no doubts while I’m around!” Flake piped up from nowhere.
“Let me guess, you feel you’re not good looking enough to carry things off?”
“That’s not for you to ask Flake.” Abi looked slightly agitated. She looked at the top for a moment.
“…Now… I need another couple of pairs of jeans, maybe a skirt, some more tops and underwear.” The guys all looked a little stunned.
“Yes underwear! I can’t be wearing the same pair for all eternity now can I?”

A couple of floors higher up Me, Paul, Reesh and Till were looking through the music section.
“Oh my god… I’ve been wanting for this CD for ages!” I’d stumbled across a couple of Oomph! CD’s, and right at the back of the selection was ‘Delikatessen’.
“Oomph? Wow, you don’t have bad taste then!” Said Till, who was looking through the CD’s in the rack next to me. I kept hold of the CD and moved round to the ‘D’ section, hoping to find something of Die Arzte’s. Lo and behold there was, but not the two greatest hits CD’s that I was looking for. I walked round to where Paul was to see what he was looking at.
“Metallica? Looks like you’ve got good taste too!”
“Danke schoen!” Paul was holding the ‘Garage Inc.’ CD. That one always made me think of my art teacher at school, he’d recommended it to me once. I looked up from the shelves; the jewellery section caught my eye. I wandered over and took a look.
There were a few nice rings there, but it was mostly all gold necklaces and bracelets, I didn’t like gold.
“Not impressed?” Reesh had come over to see what I was looking at.
“No, I prefer jewellery made out of gemstones, like this…” I showed Reesh the bracelet I had on, it was made out of small fluorite stones.
“My mum bought me that years ago, when we had time to spare and went to the sealife center back at home.”
“Hmm, it’s pretty, looks more natural than this stuff here too.”

Meanwhile downstairs Abi had turned the guys into her personal slaves. Olli was carrying two tops and a pair of jeans, Flake was carrying the other pair of jeans and a white skirt, Schneider was carrying another couple of tops and a pair of shoes.
“Now, underwear! You guys go wait somewhere… I don’t want you gawping at my future smalls!”
“Yes mistress.” Whined Schneider in a childish tone. Abi gave him a look which seemed to say “You’re gonna get it later mister!” and pranced off to the underwear section while the others sat on the chairs in the shoe section waiting for her return.
“Strange little thing isn’t she?” Murmured Flake.
“Strange, but quite pretty too.” Flake and Olli both threw stares at him.
“Schneider!”
“What? I’m just saying what I think!”

A little while later we all met up outside the store.
“I see you’ve been put to good use you three!” Bellowed Till, Flake, Olli and Schneider were all now carrying Abi’s bags for her.
“Well it’s what you men were made for you know, carrying the ladies shopping!” I laughed.
“Right then, I say it’s time for something to eat!” Till declared as he rubbed his hands together eagerly.
“To you it’s always time to essen!” Giggled Paul.
“Are you saying I’m fat?!” Paul jumped back in shock.
“N…n…nein! Of course not!” Paul looked like a little child who had just been scolded for something.
“Right then! Restraunting we go!” Said Flake.

Part Eleven: Late Nights.

"So go on, tell me about life back at home." Reesh was lying across the sofa, and I was sitting on the floor just in front of him. All the others had gone to bed a little while ago.
"Well nothing special really, I live in a small seaside town, close to most of my friends and family, got a mediocre job and sell a few pieces of artwork now and then."
"Nothing special? To people like me a normal life like that is special, I'd love to just have one day where I wake up, go out for a coffee somewhere and work a small job. It'd be like kicking back from my normal day."
"Hmmm, you're strange!" I giggled and went to ruffle his hair.
"Ay!! Not the hair!"
"Ooh you vain git!" I got onto my knees and lunged for his hair.
"No no no!! Get off!!! Off you mad cow!" He was rolling around on the sofa trying desperately to guard his hair.
"Why would it matter if I mess it up anyway? Nobodies going to see it!"
"Yes well I can!"
"Are you sure it's not because I might see it?" I stopped trying to mess it up as he rolled back round to face me.
"You shouldn't care should you? If you liked someone that much you wouldn't care what they looked like."
"Yeah we- Wait what?" I stared blankly at him. He sat up in front of me.
"You heard. Don't think it's gone unnoticed! All of us know that you have a bit of a thing for me, and when I say a bit that's a slight understatement!" I laughed nervously; my hands had started shaking again like they did when I first met Reesh.
"Give me your hands." He held his hands out to me; I hesitated slightly, but slowly moved my hands into his. He clasped his fingers around them.
"You shouldn't be so nervous like that. There's nothing to fear about having a crush on someone! Why do you get like that?" He was now caressing his thumb over my hand.
"I... Don't know, I've always been that way, since I was in secondary school, all my friends could tell I had a crush because the certain person would turn up, and I’d suddenly start shaking. Dead good giveaway." I giggled.
"Come, sit up here." He patted the sofa next to him. I got up from the floor and sat in the space next to him, he shuffled round slightly to face me and put his arm round my shoulders.
"So, would you have told me?"
"Maybe... Maybe not, I'm always afraid that if I tell someone what I think of them, things could get awkward and just slowly get worse..."
"Worse? Do you not ever think that it could get better?"
"Never, the thought has never crossed my mind, I normally end up saying something because I get so worked up about it I become physically sick."
"That's really not healthy surely? Mind you I'm one to talk; I've always wanted to have a separate project to Rammstein."
"Really?" Reesh nodded.
"I've always wanted to sing for a band, it's like a small dream of mine, I would've done it with Rammstein but I wasn't ready. It gets to a point where your sick, sick of dreaming and have to do it."
"And have you?"
"Actually yes, it’s my own little band called Emigrate; I'm going to release the debut album sometime later this year." This new prospect excited me,
"And you do all the singing?"
"Yeah, would you like to hear one of the songs?" Now I was even more excited.
"Ok! What're you going to sing?"
"Actually, I'm going to sing 'Babe' to you, one of the lines in it reminds me of you just now." I nodded and shuffled slightly to get more comfortable. Reesh began singing the song, his voice was amazing, much softer than the growling one he uses for Rammstein. While listening I picked up on the line he was talking about.
"Babe, you don't have to be afraid, in my eyes. Babe, don't be ashamed." He sang the entire song, when he was finished; he looked across to the opposite wall, then looked back at me giving me the full charm of a Reesh smile.
"What do you think?"
"It's brilliant! Your voice is quite calming, you ought to pack in smoking, you'll ruin it otherwise!" I laughed.
"Right, well, you should probably go to bed now, you'll never get up in the morning otherwise!"
"Since when do I ever get up?" Reesh laughed at my comment, I moved to get up, but he stopped me.
"Good night." He softly said before moving forward and gently kissing my forehead. I was stunned for a moment.
"Schlaf in himmlischer ruh." I told him, before giving him a hug and moving off to my bedroom, hoping not to disturb Paul on my way into bed.

As I lay down under my covers, Paul shuffled round, he was blinking at me.
“Oh you’re awake! I wasn’t too noisy was I?”
“Nein. I wanted to talk to you, so I stay awake.” I sat back up and faced Paul.
“What about?”
“Two things, what happened aus there?”
“What with Reesh? How did you know something happened?”
“He said he was going to say something about your…” He waved his hand around trying to think of a word.
“Herz?”
“Oh you mean my feelings?”
“Ja! That’s the one.”
“Well, he brought it up… and I admitted it without realising it, well we sat there for a while and he sang to me.” Paul smiled gleefully.
“Maybe he likes you too!” He giggled.
“Don’t be silly! Why would he? Anyway, what else did you want to talk about?”
“Silly? I’m always silly but I’m not now! Never doubt yourself like das.” He paused momentarily.
“Well… I wanted to talk to you about something… that’s been bothering me.”
I brought my knees up to my chest and shuffled until I was comfy.
“Is something wrong?”
“Nein… not really, well…sort of.” He paused for a minute, as if trying to think of the best way to say his sentence, or maybe trying to force his words out.
“Don’t tell me if you can’t Paul, I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable about this.”
“Nein… Its okay, I want to tell you because… I fühlen that… I kann trust you.”
My eyes must have widened to the size of saucers, I’d heard a long time ago that Paul has terrible trouble trusting people; I couldn’t possibly imagine how hard he must have been finding this.
“I quite like someone too, but it’s… difficult.” Paul’s expression had changed from his normal cheeky grin to a sombre face of discomfort.
“How is it difficult?”
“If he knew, things won’t be the same.” My eyes widened as I realised what gender Paul was referring to. If it wasn’t such a serious moment, I’d be squealing and hugging Paul to death, I love gay men!
“Can I ask who it is?” Paul nodded. It was clearly quite difficult for him to say what he felt; I sat saying nothing, just patiently waiting for him to feel comfortable.
“Till.” Paul sat up; he looked as if he was on the verge of tears. I leaped from my bed and sat next to him, putting my arm around his shoulders. He moved around so that he could grab a hug from me.
“How long have you liked him Paul?”
“A long time, I can’t remember how long now… It’s painful, sometimes it’s like he doesn’t care at all about mich.” I was now cradling Paul, almost like I’d suddenly become his mother.
“I’m sure that’s not true, maybe he just has a hard time showing he cares. Maybe you should talk to him about this.”
“I can’t, I think he would be angry.” Paul was clinging to me like a child.
“He wouldn’t be angry… you guys are friends, so you should both understand each other and stick by one another no matter what!”
“I can’t… I can’t.” Paul was holding on tighter now.
“Ok, but I promise you, it’s better to have things in the open… I’ve just learnt that one for myself.”

I sat with Paul for about an hour, until he fell asleep, I gently lay him down on his bed and tucked him in.
“Schlaf mein süsse.”

Part Twelve: Abi’s Birthday.

It was a bright morning, we’d moved on from Hamburg and the concert, we were now in Hannover. Everyone was up except for Abi and Flake, who were still asleep.

We were all quite bored and we trying to find something good to watch on TV. Suddenly a thought raced through my mind.
“Hey guys.”
“Yes.”
“What’s the date today?” Till looked at his watch.
“The twenty ninth.” I jolted up in my seat.
“It’s Abi’s birthday tomorrow!” The guys around me all turn to face me.
“I haven’t got her a present!”
“Hey but we ought to do something too! I mean, we are looking after her and everything.” Schneider sat forward and rested his head on his knuckles. Till got up from his seat.
“Flake is still in bed, maybe we should leave him here with her while we go into the city and go present hunting.” He was grinning masterfully.
“Till, you just want to see Flake attacked again don’t you?” Laughed Schneider.
“I can’t help it! It’s so funny! And anyway someone has to keep her here…”
“Ok, well why don’t we write a note, leave it in Flake’s room then bugger off?” I suggested.
“Good plan.” Reesh got up from his seat and nabbed a piece of paper from the table in the kitchen.
“I’ll write it!” Shouted Till, scrabbling around for a pen.

Flake rolled around in his bed for a moment, he gave up trying to get comfortable and decided to get up. He was sleeping in the top bunk of the bunk bed.
After climbing down the ladder he stretched his limbs out, stopping as he noticed a note cello taped to the side of the bunk. He grabbed it and read it out loud to himself.

“Flake,

We’re off out to get Abi a birthday present, (yes it’s her birthday tomorrow.)
We left you to look after her. Make sure she doesn’t know what we’re doing!

All my loveage and SQUISHIFUL hugs
Till & co.
Xxx”

“You bastards…”
“Mornin’ stick insect! What’s that you got there?” Abi had appeared in the hallway behind Flake.
“Nothing of interest to you! Come on, breakfast.”
“But I don’t want breakfast.”
“You haven’t eaten since last night! Seriously, most important meal of the day.”
Abi rolled her eyes and stomped into the kitchen.
“Fine then, as long as it’s not too much.”
Flake rummaged in the kitchen cupboard and brought out a bowl.
“Cornflakes?” Abi started laughing manically at Flake’s offer.
“What? What you demented child?”
“Cornflakes! Its lots of little Flake’s made of corn!” Flake stared at Abi for a moment with one eyebrow raised, when it dawned upon him.
“Oh ha ha! You ingrate!”
He put the bowl on the table and poured out the cornflakes, then grabbed the milk from the fridge and poured some in. He placed the milk and box back and threw a spoon to Abi, missing the spoon it went flying against the wall.
“EW! I can’t eat with that now! It’s dirty! Get a clean one will you Jeeves?” She threw the spoon back at Flake hitting him on the shoulder. Flake stood motionless for a second then turned his head slowly round, fixing one eye on Abi. All of a sudden he whipped round and flicked water in Abi’s face. She flinched and looked at him in horror.
“Please tell me that’s not the dirty water from last nights washing?” Flake nodded slowly giggling in his nerdy way. Abi screamed and darted into the bathroom, running back out with a bottle of shampoo.
“Don’t make me do it!!” She shouted.
“Do what?” Abi opened the lid on the shampoo.
“I’m warning you.”
“What are you doing?” Abi let out an ear piercing scream and squeezed the bottle tightly; streams of shampoo went flying in Flake’s face.
“What the hell are you doing you crazy lady!?!?” Flake screamed. He rushed into the living room, dodging the shampoo comets flying from the bottle. He needed to find a weapon and quickly!

Later that afternoon me and the guys returned from present hunting. We’d decided that we’d get a couple of presents and Reesh would cook up a barbeque.
We gave the bags to Olli, so he could shove them in his bedroom somewhere. Reesh had the food.
We all scaled the stairs; suddenly things came to a halt. We all stood in awe at the front of the living room, the place was trashed, there were squirts of shampoo all over the floor and some scattered remains of cornflakes and milk.
“What the HELL has happened here!?” Bellowed Till. Abi’s head popped out of her bedroom.
“Abi what on Earth are you doing?” I started to walk over to her, dodging the mess on the floor.
“NO! Don’t come over!”
“Why have you got something to hide?” I walked a bit faster over to her, through the kitchen.
“No! Kayley stop! Don’t go…”
“KYAAAAARRRRR!!!!!” I squealed as loud as possible as something green and slimy splashed against the side of my face.
“Oh scheisse…” The stream of green stuff stopped, I turned slowly to face the bathroom, Flake was standing there, looking mortified and holding a bottle of washing up liquid.
“FLAKE!!!” Till roared. Abi came out from her hiding place and crushed a few cornflakes onto Flake’s glasses.
“We are so not cleaning this up.” Said Schneider.

The next morning all of us were sitting in the living room waiting for Abi to wake up. Me, Reesh and Paul had sneaked into Olli, Flake and Schneider’s room the previous night to wrap the presents. Till had stayed in the bedroom with Abi as normal, assuring her the noises from the other room were nothing and she should stay in bed.
We heard the door click open, and we poised ourselves ready to jump up and shout.
Abi stumbled into the living room rubbing her eyes.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!” She leaped back in shock, then beamed with a bright smile.
“Thanks guys! I wasn’t expecting anyone to remember… or even know!”
“Come on then birthday girl! Come and open your presents!” Said Olli.
Rather than sit on the sofas we all took to sitting on the floor, in a rather dilapidated circle.
We handed Abi her cards first, all seven of them. Then we let her open the presents.
I gave her mine first; it was a leopard print vest top with a matching bracelet.
“LEOPARD PRINT!! Aww but it should’ve been a thong!” Abi giggled then leaned over to give me a hug.
“Thank you love of my life!” She moved on to open the three other presents. One from Till and Paul, one from Schneider and Olli, and one from Reesh and Flake.
They’d got her a pair of converse with strange little creatures on them that looked like they were screaming;
“We thought that the creature looked like you when you went mad with that breadstick in the hotel.” Laughed Till.
A big choker made out of red tiger’s eye and onyx stones;
“Ooh! So shiny!”
“Kayley said you’d probably appreciate that.” Explained Schneider.
And a ring which had the yin and yang symbol on it.
“And from all of us, we’re going to have a barbeque this afternoon.” Said Reesh.
“Seriously guys you shouldn’t have! I wasn’t expecting any of this!”
“Well it’s a bit late for that! And anyway, we don’t care; we should be pampering you on your birthday!”

The driver was driving steadily along a road in what seemed like the middle of nowhere, apparently we were going to a field, which was virtually in the middle of nowhere, so that we could have the barbeque in the great outdoors.
It didn’t take long to get to this so called field. The driver stopped and got out to dig out a barbeque from the bag compartment on the side of the bus.
“Hey look, I’ve found somewhere we can put Flake when he gets annoying!” I laughed pointing at the huge space in that part of the bus.
“More like somewhere we can throw you two when YOU get annoying!” Jestered Flake
“Nah it’s just Richards little sulking hovel.” Cackled Till.
“ME sulking? I think you’re referring to yourself Lindemann!” Chuckled Reesh as he strode over to the driver, taking the barbeque from him.
“We’ll need that table there too.” He pointed.

Paul and Abi were prancing around in the field chasing butterflies, Flake and Till were sitting in the grass talking about the species of butterfly the other two were chasing, Olli was lying in the grass relaxing and Schneider was sitting between them all, looking at the sky. I stood watching them from the door of the bus, having a drink. I walked over to the grill which had a load of sausages on it and took a deep breath.
“That smells lovely, but I’ve seen what you’re like with sausages, are you sure you won’t burn them?” I was giggling at him. He looked at me trying to appear stern, but his smile ruined the image.
“Shut up!” He paced over and snapped the tongs in my face.
“Do that again and I’ll stick your head on that grill!” I laughed. He put his arm around my shoulders; I put mine around his waist.
“Beautiful day. Clear blue sky and not too hot.” I rested my head on Reesh’s shoulder and looked up at the sky.
“Come here.” I lifted my head back up; Reesh was turning round and putting both arms around me.
“Hey what’s all the hugging about?”
“What you don’t want a hug?” He said teasingly while starting to move away.
“Uh, no, stay here you!” Giggling I put my arms around him and pulled him back, resting my head on his chest.
“Ey! Lovebirds! Serve up the grub already! I’m starving!” Whined Till.
“See I told you you’re always hungry!” Said Paul as he came and sat in the grass next to Schneider.
"I am not! You know that I've quit smoking and that means I'll eat more!"
"Ja sure, whatever you say." He was nodding his head with a sarcastic smile.

"Grubs up!" Called Reesh behind a cloud of steam,
"You sure it's grilled and not boiled? With that amount of steam even a human would shrink!" Chuckled Flake.
"Maybe that's why you're so short Kayley!" Teased Abi.
"Hey you forgot about Paul! He's a dwarf too!" Paul gave an evil glare to Till.
"Well what you forget is that we shorties are vicious to make up for it!" I made odd hissing noises at the evil tall ones. Reesh served round hotdogs to us all and we scoffed them down.
"Gywaaarrg, it's so good, good job Richard!" Till didn't waste time savouring his food, he was so hungry it barely lasted a second!
"There'll be burgers later too if any of you gannets want them! Do we want drinks?" Reesh offered. Most of us nodded, our mouths were too full to answer! So he disappeared into the bus and came back out with a pack of lager.
"Alcomaholz!" Abi squealed. Reesh passed round the cans and we all cracked them open.
"Happy birthday Abi!" Till raised his can. The rest of us followed.
"Happy birthday!"

We stayed by the field until late that evening. Everyone was inside the bus attempting to play charades. Abi was a whizz at that game! However I was lying out in the field staring up at the stars.
"Hey hippie child." I rolled over to see Reesh standing some way behind me. He walked over and lay in the grass next to me.
"Beautiful isn't it? The night sky." I asked. Reesh nodded.
"Nature is a powerful and very beautiful thing."
"It's good out here too as there's no light pollution to hide the sky." Reesh laughed.
"You really are a hippie child." He paused for a moment, then rolled round on his side.
"To what extent do you feel for me?" I sighed, then rolled over to face him.
"At first, I’d say it was just a crush... that's how things always start I suppose... but, that was when I didn't even know you. But now, it seems different. I do know you, and I still have feelings for you, nothing has deterred me. And normally when this happens to me, it always grows stronger." Reesh closed his eyes and smiled, then opened them again.
"It's clear that I’m not helping." He laughed again.
"No, its ok I like having feelings like this, sometimes it hurts, but I'd feel somewhat empty without it."
"Kayley..." Reesh was talking in a hushed tone, his glassy emerald eyes were glinting in the moonlight. He moved closer to me and brushed his hand through my hair.
"...What?" My voice had been reduced to a whisper. He moved ever closer, pressing his nose against mine. My hands had gone into meltdown again; he was staring straight into my eyes, almost as if he was searching my soul. He moved just that little inch closer, I felt powerless before him as his lips softly brushed against mine. It was gentle and affectionate. He almost reluctantly pulled away, he kept his eyes closed.
"Oh...Reesh..." My voice trembled, what I was feeling almost had me crying.
"Now I'm not helping." He stroked the side of my face and wiped away a tear that had escaped from my eye.
