[Physical]

Name: William Marshall
Age: 18
Height: 6’ 2”
Weight: 209

Appearance:
Not one who enjoys the outdoors, or exercise in general, William is only prevented from being hefty looking is his height. His height doesn’t effect his daily life as he tends to almost always be hunched over reading a book or some sorts, which has also caused his posture to be terrible). To make up for this, he often tries to look presentable in other areas of his body. His light brown hair is always cut short enough that it naturally stays looking dignified, though as it grows out it tends to be on the messy side. He keeps his face clean-shaven at all times, preferring not to deal with the hassles that come with having a beard or mustache. His eyes, hiding behind a pair of glasses, are a light blue in coloring.
Being of German and Austrian decent, William is naturally light tan in color. This, along with his not being outdoors a lot, has caused him to be able to be easily sunburned (though he does use sunscreen). Still being a little young in age, his face is blemished slightly by acme and other signs of puberty. He isn’t that smooth with the ladies, often nervously smiles when he is talking to them (which shows off a small set of dimples).

Style:
William prefers to wear clothing that is respectable and slightly preppy in style. The most common outfit of his is centered on the casual yet sophisticated polo shirt. His favorite color to wear is red, just plain red, as he doesn’t enjoy stripes and plaid and such. Moving on to leg wear, tan knee-length khaki shorts are the most dominant his choices. He occasionally wears blue jean shorts if the conditions demand something more rugged than khaki. A thin pair of glasses and a pair of white sneakers (which some suspect is all he owns) complete his outfit.

[Mental:]

Personality:
As his choice of outfit may show, William’s personality stems into one of a scholar. Almost nothing is more interesting to him than sitting in a comfortable chair and reading a book, preferably one concerning the social sciences or history. His intelligence would make it seem the kind of person to be serious, cold, and unbelievably hard to confuse or trick. Yet, everything mentioned is the exact opposite of him. While he knows when to be serious, he prefers to enjoy life as it since, in his view, “there could always be something else.” Admittedly, he can be seen to be cold at first. However, its is nine out of ten times that he is to absorbed with what he is doing to bother talking to you. Catching him when he isn’t so absorbed can net you a slightly normal conversation. Finally, William is a trusting individual and expects others to be the same, which in turn makes him on the gullible side.

His preference for books to people makes him one to avoid social situations, and when forced into one he makes it known he would prefer not to be there. His mind is in the past most of the time, making it almost impossible for him to understand most pop-culture references. When around members of the opposite gender, he doesn’t even bother with them unless they approach him first. Even then he isn’t the most social one to be around. If attracted to the individual, he acts more shy and can ramble and stutter if attempting to speak.

Overall, he is an individual who mostly prefers to be alone with his books and doesn’t enjoy the social limelight.

Likes: History (particularly that of the classical era to the Renaissance), Country Music, Comedy (of the Monty Python style), debate, the social sciences (philosophy, psychology, sociology, etc.)
Dislikes: Just about anything not country music, vulgar language, being bothered
Fears: Heights, blood, and being completely alone (he admits that he feels safer of at least one other person is nearby)

Life Goal(s):
To lead an archeological expedition to one of his favorite civilizations lands (Rome, Greece, Persia, etc.)

Early History:

He was born into an average American middle-class family in a small town in Virginia. Growing up he seemed destined for a life of mediocrity. He played sports with his brothers and sisters average, and his early school life was average. Around 3rd grade things began to change. He had discovered the joys of reading, and from there he skyrocketed into the academic highlight. A’s became the dominant grade, and people considered it the apocalypse if he didn’t have a book. The more he read the more inward he became, causing the other kids to tease him. And the more they teased the further into his books he went.

His favorite books were those that dealt with the classical civilizations that existed before all that we knew. Names such as Caesar, Hannibal, and Augustus filled his thoughts. He dreamed about the Roman legions fighting against the barbarians of Europe. Drawn to these times he read every book that he could find on them. By the time he had reached middle school he was the expert on them. Speaking of middle school, it was at this time a small break in the teasing. Given the inch he took a mile and began standing up for himself and others, which lead to more teasing (but less than elementary school). He was still a social outcast. However, he did have a small group of friends, but not that much. This did lead him to be happier at times and made him slightly more optimism.

At the high school level the social out casting had become more apparent. With the exception of his close friends of middle school he was left alone. He went back to his old habit of relying on books for companionship
instead of real people. He never asked anyone out during this time and he never went to a dance. Even this failed to bring him down, as his still high grades were enough to satisfy. He graduated with top honors, but feeling he had missed out on high school life and decided to take a year off before heading to college.

Present Life:

In his break off from school he still hasn’t broken out of the shell. He lived in an apartment located on the inner city of Nashville, where he had hoped to get some clubbing and social life. However, he ended up staying at libraries and reading a book at home. His neighbors found him a bit odd, and his few friends just wish he would get out more. He had still not gotten himself a single date.
In the realm of work his top grades have given him the chance to work at a history museum. He uses the position to a degree to show off along with maybe getting the chance to put his foot in the door for archeology. The museum pays him an okay amount, just enough to get by. His love of classical civilizations carries on here as he focuses his tour on the sections regarding them. All this did pay off when he was drafted to go to a small excavation in Athens, Greece.
After the summer excavating William fell in love with the land. After saving up the money needed he moved to Greece, buying another apartment located in the metropolitan regions of Athens. He made a living by opening a small-time tour guide service that, just like the museum job, made enough for him to get by. While living in Greece he had a small relationship, but he broke up with her after finding out she was married. His spirit was broken for a few months, but another archaeological dig spun him back into action

Getting to Taurica Nesos:

Renting his own boat William had begun his trip to reach the excavation site. He wasn’t in a rush, seeing as his job was unimportant. Sightseeing filled up a lot of time but caused him to end up crash landing on Taurica Nesos

Preferred Species: Cow

Well, I... have nothing to complain about. This is a sturdy profile, your character is of the grade we're looking for (Socially probable, yet unique), and you followed the *Expletive Deleted* template!

Comrade, I'll accept this PC with no qualms. Good job.
