ACTION!

We all have high aspirations - a novel, a game, a published comic - but have you ever thought about your project as a movie? Think about it - Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter - most successful books end up with a movie.

So, I have a few movie-related questions for you:

What studio would produce it? Some well-known ones include Fox, Paramount, Universal and Time-Warner, but perhaps you can think of some others.

Who would direct it? George Lucus? Tim Burton? Yourself? Someone else?

Who would write the music? Each composer has a very different style, so consider what your story is like. Do you want the quirky grimness of Danny Elfman, or the grandness of Hans Zimmer?

What type would it be? Animated? Computer graphics? Live action? Or something really bizarre, like A Scanner Darkly?

Who would play the title roles? You might already have someone in mind, or need some help choosing.

Where would it be filmed? Lord of the Rings took Middle Earth to New Zealand, but where would yours be filmed (assuming it's live action)? If it's not live action, who would you like to design for it?

And anything else you can think of!

I'm going to use this as an example for how you could lay this out...

Title: The Red MatineƩ
Tagline(s): All he wants is the lion's share...
Studio: Universal Studios
Director: Tim Burton, I think, would be good for the creepy and realistic-but-not-quite-of-this-world style.
Composer: We know Elfman works well with Burton, but failing him I'd really like John Williams. I wonder if Elfman would be prepared to work with a church pipe-organ.
Genre: Live action with CG FX, Gothic fantasy horror
Title roles: no idea who would play them, but I might fill it in later.
Gerard DamiƔn -
Monty-Gray Michael -
Penny Rose -
Gerwyn Pony -
James Jean-Paul -
Film Location: I usually never use this word in this context, but it would be really sexy to use a real cathedral or opera house of the external scenes, in Europe somewhere.

Title: Aus der Traum
Tagline: [I really don't know. I suck at catchiness. DX;]
Studio: Paramount, Universal, New Line, or another one that I forgot the name of. DX; It had a tree with lightning in the back... something like that. [I'm sorry if I'm making any movie-buffs twitch with my lack of knowledge. DX;]
Director: Er....Steven Spielberg? XD;
Composer: I honestly have no idea. ^^;
Genre: Live action. I'm still iffy if it should be in black and white like Schindler's List or in dark color, like The Pianist.
Title Roles: I'm gonna work on this. I have no idea who would play them.
Niklaus:
Ralph:
Austin:
Brad:
Rudiger:
Jacklynn:
Schneider:
