I was just thinking how perfect it would be to have some Castlevania characters in Smash Bros Brawl:
Any Belmont - Obvious choice. I'd love to see Simon, Richter or Leon re-made in Wii-graphics glory.
Alucard or Dracula - Shooting fireballs and Doom-discs, turning into a bat....the possibilities are endless!
Also, imagine the items you could get, like a cross, axe, holy water....And the stages too! Too much to think about!
Konami already has Snake and now Ike from Fire Emblem...Why not Castlevania?

That would be SO worth getting the game >w< I'd say either Alucard, trevor or Richter....and then use them to beat up that bloody pikachu ><

I think Simon Belmont would be best, but keep him in his 8-bit glory.

Deja vu... Was there perhaps a similar thread like this in the past? Ah well, I have fond memories of Simon Belmont so he's the belmont I'd love to have in there. Although as mentioned Alucard has way more moves that could translate well in smash. Too bad we can't choose both razz

Yes! Alucard might be even better for gameplay purposes. It's too bad that we're about a month away from the release date and, not a word from Konami about it. Maybe if the date is pushed back, well... we might just get lucky!

In order to be in smash, the person had to be in at least one nintendo game. And alucard doesn't meet that. Simon on the other hand...

Hey, how come Alucard doesn't fit that? He was able to appear not only in Aria but on Dawn as well and, you can get to play as him on Dawn. That's two games, even though he wasn't a playable character on Aria... rolleyes

Now if thats changed in Dawn, then yes he to would also be a contender.

Almost forgot about Alucard being in DOS sweatdrop (been thinking of the main characters.) Then Julius would fit....Richter and Maria would count..

You see? I knew there was no good reason to keep Al out of this, he-he. mrgreen
But yeah, Since Maria and Richter are available characters in PoR, they should qualify. Richter more than qualifies cuz he had a game for the SNES. Granted it wasn't as great a game as the original "Rondo" but still...
It's too bad Eric Lecarde wasn't a playable character on PoR. I would have preferred that instead of the lousy axe armor mode. Oh well...
Hey, maybe axe armor can be in smash brothers, ha-ha!

Dude, what about Castlevania 3? Alucard was one of the big 3 to "get" in that game and it was on NES.
I'm still crossing my fingers for a Jill Valentine (Although I guess she'd be too much like Snake) crying
